This truly is an oasis and an unexpected gem located near tons of natural and cultural sites. The land is beautiful and a birding paradise. The hosts were wonderfully kind and responsive. This will definitely be a repeat visit for me. *Fair warning: the road to the property is rough. Passable without 4x4 but not for low-clearance cars.

Beautiful space right near a river. Very quiet and calm. Enjoyed all of the different bird species in the area. Laura is a wonderful host and our stay was super comfortable. With multiple sites, we'll definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic camping with clean flush toilet and cool shower area. Friendly and helpful hosts. It doesn’t get any better than this. Great location if you are visiting Fossil Creek or passing through to Sedona or Grand Canyon.

The area was beautiful! Laura was very kind and accommodating. She has cute dogs and alpacas we enjoyed meeting. The creek is nearby and easy to find. We will come again!

Laura was communicative and very hospitable. She greeted us when we arrived, explained where everything was, and even lent us camping chairs, because we didn’t have any. Her land was beautiful, and it was super special getting to meet and learn about her alpacas—definitely worth going off the beaten path for!

We stayed at Laura‘s place for a night between Sedona and Prescott. We had a flat spot in an open field with access to a clean bathroom and shower (separate buildings) and a nice, short walk down to the creek. We really enjoyed visiting with Laura and getting recommendations from a local!

Great place - definitely be back again! All amenities of a campground and a shower available. It was an excellent place for a dog! There was a creek on their property you could walk to and enjoy. Able to make last-minute reservations too.

Beaver Creek Oasis
My family and I truly loved this campsite. It was our kids’ very first camping adventure, and it exceeded all expectations. From the amenities to the beautiful views and easy hikes, everything was wonderful.
What made our stay especially memorable was how welcomed and cared for Laura and Bruce made us feel. Laura is incredibly kind and knowledgeable—she took the time to teach the kids about the animals and how to stay safe, and even let them tag along while she helped other campers. They adored her so much that they wanted her to join all of our activities!
Thank you both for such a special experience. We’re so grateful and will absolutely be back for more family adventures.

We had a wonderful time at Laura’s ranch! The property is beautiful and we loved seeing the goats and llamas. Laura was incredibly friendly and the campsite and facilities were perfect. We took the alternate route in with our Prius and had no issues navigating the dirt road.

Laura’s land was so lovely and peaceful! It was the perfect place to celebrate my sister’s birthday with a fire and a mostly warm shower! The creek was so beautiful. The road in was a bumpy so be aware when you’re driving in.

The campground was so beautiful. It was very private, had a decent amount of space from other campsites. There was a nice amount of trees/ greenery. The bathroom was clean. Laura was so friendly and very kind. We didn’t have enough time to walk down to the creek but we’re definitely planning on going back and check it out.

The shower was lovely, the critters were friendly, and the stars were amazing. Beautiful, out-of-the-way place. So thankful for such a clean, well-stocked site after days of primitive camping.

Laura was super sweet! There were very clear instructions on how to get in! The bathroom was super clean it had a flushing toilet and running water. She also had farm animals that were so friendly. Her dogs are the absolute cutest and super friendly! The campsite was so nice and very spacious. It had a table and fire pit with logs to sit on! The walk to the creek was super pretty and well maintained! We really enjoyed staying here!

Beautiful property near the creek. Clean with a nice little bathroom set up. Laura was incredibly helpful and nice. Got a peek at the alpacas and goats in the morning. Some freeway noise from busy I-17, but other than that perfect place.

We loved our time here! It was very peaceful and the large trees made it very private. Laura was a wonderful host, making sure we had everything we needed. There’s a nice walk to the creek and the alpacas and goats were fun to see. We would stay here again!

Directions to the location were not great even with the hipcamp app and the pin drop location. Yes as mentioned in other reviews the road is very rough, poorly kept up and narrow. Once we got there the facilities and amenities were not too clear for use of such as trash or water. It is a nice pierce of land, but it's basically like camping in someone's backyard, the hosts were polite and left us with plenty of privacy, but their land is located within line of sight of I17 and didn't feel exactly like real camping with semi trucks and car noise all day and night, the highway noise was very noticeable. The shower house is a bit run down, warped splintering wood, broken tiles and the toilet is right next to their house, neither were terribly clean, rat poop and spider webs galore. I mean the overall experience was ok, just not what we expected with all the glowing reviews and being a top hipcamp site. Really it felt like play camping and not a real camping experience being surrounded by chain link fence, trailer homes and being 100 yards from the host's home. First hipcamp experience and I'm not sure I can trust the service for clarity and accuracy of descriptions especially for the price/ service fees.

Beaver Creek Oasis
This was our second time camping at Beaver Creek Oasis. Laura ensured our stay was fabulous, letting us purchase some things we forgot. She's a very thoughtful and sweet host. We spent a few hours cooling off by the creek. The site was a great size for all us to spread out and even provided shade. The morning of our trip was a big storm. Laura checked in on us to make sure we were ok and ensured the dirt roads near her home were passable before we set out to head home.
