At 6000ft elevation the air is much cleaner and the weather is much cooler, especially in the summer time! We have plenty of space. A well house to fill up your water. There are also outdoor bathrooms, no shower yet, but working on that! We're just a short seven minute drive to the dump station at a local gas station down the road on the Deuce of Clubs and Penrod. We are 14 minutes from a large hospital, 10 minutes from major grocery stores, shopping and restaurants, and many other fun activities. Our location is in a perfect spot to enjoy the blue sky and great weather. Sunrise Ski area is a quick drive too! Pinetop Lakeside are within 10 minutes, Taylor and Snowflake are within 15 to 25 minutes. We hope you visit and continue to keep our environment clean and a chill spot to visit. We are home to a family-friendly honky-tonk, and microbrewery, now open. Please check our Instagram or Facebook @the4sbarn and @greatskycampranch_showlowaz for updates. Seasonal business may change our days/hours of operation.

The well stocked kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you'll need for cooking, a propane range, as well as a cooler for your use (bring ice). A gas barbecue is on site as well. The wood stove kicks out a ton of heat to keep you toasty while you sip on steamy hot chocolate that is provided for your enjoyment. Gather around the propane operated firepit in the backyard for some R&R. Bring a hammock 'cuz there are unlimited opportunities for stringing one up! Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. If you get stuck on the road it will be your own responsibility. Please check with the owner a couple days prior to your visit to check on road conditions during the winter!

Site#1 has Full Hook Up - Running water, sewage RV Hookup of 30amp and 50amp electricity, for $45. Site#2 and Site#3 are side by side. They have running water and priced at $25. each. These two Sites are better for tents or a small trailer. A personal generator may be used but only during certain hours. These are lovely spots with shade trees, so pretty. There are lots of mature Juniper trees and some Pine trees that provide shade on the property. Often we experience a lovely breeze. We live a mile off of 260 on a rugged dirt road. We keep the Entrance Gate locked for safety and security.
We are located on 2 acres and have a garden and a green house where we grow a large variety of vegetables. We only accept trailers and fifth wheels of 21 feet or less on site #2 and #3. There is a Chicken House and a rooster and we have plenty of farm fresh eggs that are available to purchase.
0ur home is tucked away 1 mile off the 260 Hwy. on a rugged dirt road. First you will drive pass the Linden Valley Arena before reaching our property. The Arena was designed for ropers by ropers and is open from May thru September.
10-15 minute drive away is Fool Hollow lake, Show Low City Park, Safeway Grocery Store, Post Office, Library, and a variety of restaurants. Within that distance there is Boating, Fishing, Hiking, Picnic Areas, Large Dog Park, well equipped Playground area, Basketball Courts, Baseball fields, Sand Volley Ball, Tennis Courts, Racquet Ball Court, Horseshoe Pits, Disc Golf, Outdoor Exercise Stations, Walking Trail, Pavilions, Restrooms all the while enjoying the enormous, plentiful Ponderosa Pines. Show Low City Park Aquatic Center has 6 lane 25-yard pool with an adjoining leisure pool featuring zero-depth entry, Spray Fountain, Water Slide, Indoor Spa.
Show Low was named by the turn of a Card. A ranch of nearly 100,000 acres jointly owned by Marion Clark and Croydon Cooley a U.S. army scout. According to legend, sometime around 1876, the partners decided that there was not enough room for both of them
and one of them should leave. They decided to settle this issue over a game of "Seven Up" (with the winner taking the ranch and the loser leaving.) After the game seemed to have no winner in sight the game reached it's climax when
Clark said, "If you can show low, you win." At this point
Cooley turned up the deuce of clubs, and declared "Show Low" it is! Show Low
is a city in Navajo County, Arizona
among the lush green ponderosa pine forestland and along Arizona's Mogollon Rim at an elevation of 6,345 feet. Show Low is now the largest city in the White Mountains of northeastern Arizona. Show Low is also the business hub and marketing center of the area.

Guest quarter on 3 acres opening to a deck with a creek in the backyard surrounded by mountains and nature! Enjoy the sound of the creek while gazing the sycamore trees and mountain views. Huge deck to BBQ and relax outside, sit around the fire pit, swing on the tire, hike around the property and beyond or go down to the creek to swim, fish or relax.
The accommodation is a guest quarter attached to the main house with your own personal private space. Double bed in the bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa. Sleeps 4. Private full bathroom, kitchenette with sink, small refrigerator, convection toaster oven, microwave and a kcup coffee maker. Paper towels, napkins, paper plates/paper cups/utensils, towels, washcloths, blankets, coffee and tea are supplied.
Sedona, Wineries, Hiking, Kayaking, ATV Riding, Dining, Shopping, Golfing, Montezuma Castle, and Cliff Castle Casino close by!

If you’re even thinking about booking with Gary and Daren, do it. They are, without question, some of the best hosts we’ve ever had.
We stayed at both their Hipcamp site and their VRBO, and everything exceeded our expectations. Their property is absolutely beautiful, with private creek access that makes it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Whether you want a peaceful retreat or an adventure-filled trip, this is an incredible home base.
Gary and Daren go above and beyond in every possible way. They have fantastic recommendations for hiking, restaurants, and exploring Sedona, and their local knowledge made our trip so much better. In fact, I’m pretty sure Gary saved me from becoming one with the Arizona desert when he insisted I borrow one of his umbrellas before we headed out on a trail. I laughed at first…then spent the entire hike incredibly grateful for his advice! That umbrella made all the difference.
Their hospitality is truly unmatched. They think of everything, they genuinely care that you have a wonderful stay, and somehow they even managed to do our dishes. It’s the kind of thoughtful, effortless kindness that makes you feel less like a guest and more like a friend.
Gary and Daren have created something really special here. We left feeling refreshed, well cared for, and already talking about our next trip back. If you’re visiting Sedona or anywhere nearby, don’t hesitate—this is the place you want to stay.

The taproom was great, excellent microbrews they had Kolsch, a light pilsner an amber and an IPA when I was there. Tried the Kolsch and the light which were both excellent. If you like pool they have 3 very good tables. The taproom closes early like 9 I think, so it's not noisy while your trying to sleep. They are close to some road traffic but it's not terribly busy with traffic noise,

This is a great location with an amazing host. The property was easy to navigate, peaceful and everything we wanted for our trip. It was close to Sedona and Jerome making it an ideal spot for base camp as we adventured.
The goats and Alpacas were so cool and the fresh eggs we purchased were incredible.

I had a great time camping at Ash Creek Canyon! When I arrived, Andy offered to take me on a tour of the property on his ATV to help me get an idea of how to spend my time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and it's history. I ended up taking a beautiful hike along the creek to swim in one of the canyon's several natural pools. Later on I explored one of the old mines, although I wish I had brought extra batteries for my flashlight so I could venture further. At night, the sky was filled with more stars than I think I've seen in my entire life. Overall, the experience felt very private and secluded, which was exactly what I was looking for on this trip. Definitely plan on returning again someday.

This place is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend spending a few nights here. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating. We did a mine tour, hiked to a swimming waterfall-endless beauty with very knowledgeable hosts. The history of the land was very interesting!

We had such an amazing stay and can’t wait to come back! Being able to pitch our tent while still enjoying so many comforts made this the perfect getaway. We loved having both an outdoor shower and an indoor shower, plus a flushable toilet and a full kitchen, which made camping so easy and enjoyable.
There was so much to do! We explored the creek, went paddle boarding, painted rocks, and spent our evenings around the fire pit under the most beautiful night sky. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and the location was peaceful and not far from Sedona.
One of the highlights of our trip was the weather. We experienced some exciting thunderstorms that made the adventure even more memorable. Watching the lightning in the distance and listening to the rain while camping added to the fun and made for an unforgettable experience.
This place offers the perfect blend of nature and comfort. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, relaxing, and memorable getaway!

This little oasis was so wonderfully thought out and curated! From the community room, to all the activities set up on the cliff and down at the creek. My entire family instantly fell in love with the cabin before we even walked inside. The setting, the smell, the sound of the winds blowing in the trees- simply magical. We made forever memories here and I can’t wait to come back!
The hosts have done an amazing job at labeling entering and providing you with everything you need. Their communication was great and you can tell they put so much love and attention into their property. One of the few places on here where you truly just need to bring yourself. The most hospitable places to be at with gorgeous views! Did not expect to hear the Halloween wolves from the wolf sanctuary down below in the morning, but it was the best experience ever, Gary and Darren are so nice such a joy to be around. Can’t wait to go back.

1 night at Grand Canyon High-Desert Art Escape
Absolutely loved our stay in this little camper. It's so cozy and well put together you can tell a lot of love has gone into it. We enjoyed looking around at all the unique creative touches, especially the ceiling 😍
While there are other campers nearby it still feels like you have your own private space. Getting to the Grand canyon was also convenient from here. We plan to return next year!

Gary and Daren thought of everything and were fun to talk to. This place was more than we expected. They have created a beautiful oasis--or sacred spring, if you will. We cannot wait to return one day for a longer stay. Very close to Montezuma Well and Castle. As well as a short drice to Sedona, if you're looking to be near.

We booked Sacred Springs as a basecamp for exploring Sedona, but quickly found ourselves eager to return to camp as much as any adventure.
Gary and Daren have created something truly special. Every detail feels intentional—from the spotless facilities and beautifully maintained grounds to the well-stocked community room with cookware, spices, oils, and other essentials—their guests’ comfort is clearly at the heart of everything they do.
The amenities exceeded our expectations: fresh eggs from the chicken coop, a running toilet, rainfall and solar showers, paddleboards, kayaks, floaties, private creek access, and a peaceful walking path. Everything was clean, organized, and welcoming.
The creek is a hidden oasis, and some of our favorite moments of the trip were spent swimming, paddling, floating, or simply relaxing by the water.
Gary's hospitality is exceptional, striking the perfect balance between being available and giving guests plenty of space. You can tell he genuinely cares about the experience people have here. While it may be a rare sighting to see Daren, as he’s always working behind the scenes, his presence is evident throughout the landscaping, gardens, and natural beauty of the property—Hi, Daren 👋🏻!
Their strengths complement one another perfectly. Together, they've created a place that feels less like a campground and more like a labor of love.
We arrived expecting a place to stay and left grateful, and we look forward to our return to Sacred Springs!

Staying at Jason's cabin was exactly what this trip of adventure into the great outdoors called for. Crystal loft was super cozy and the upper deck was a beautiful added bonus, especially on the night of a full 🌕 I would definitely recommend an SUV for the trip.

Great location. Gary checked me in and was very kind and showed me all the amenities provided. Fire pits, well kept showers and bathroom, and a wonderful hiking path down to a creek where kayaks and paddle boards were provided. I want to come back to this location again.
