Then my place is for you! 18 and over. NO PIT BULLS. Good well behaved dogs allowed on leash welcome. If you want to bring a properly raised young person you can make your case to me and I will consider.
I offer 2 full hook-up spaces, one space is covered. Power is 50 AMPS! An RV must be under 12' to fit under the covered space.
I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.
Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

There is one mile of a somewhat bumpy gravel road with hills to reach our neighborhood, so please make sure you are ready for that and have adequate towing power. The nearest services and dining are 5 minutes away. We are about 25-30 minutes to Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek,
and the popular red rock hiking sites. There are many wineries and dining right down the road to enjoy.

At 6000ft elevation the air is much cleaner and the weather is much cooler, especially in the summer time! We have plenty of space. A well house to fill up your water. There are also outdoor bathrooms, no shower yet, but working on that! We're just a short seven minute drive to the dump station at a local gas station down the road on the Deuce of Clubs and Penrod. We are 14 minutes from a large hospital, 10 minutes from major grocery stores, shopping and restaurants, and many other fun activities. Our location is in a perfect spot to enjoy the blue sky and great weather. Sunrise Ski area is a quick drive too! Pinetop Lakeside are within 10 minutes, Taylor and Snowflake are within 15 to 25 minutes. We hope you visit and continue to keep our environment clean and a chill spot to visit. We are home to a family-friendly honky-tonk, and microbrewery, now open. Please check our Instagram or Facebook @the4sbarn and @greatskycampranch_showlowaz for updates. You could go fishing in Williams or have a snowball fight in Flagstaff. If you have never seen the Grand Canyon you are in for an ultimate life changing experience.
The dark night skies in this area may just keep you at camp. You can see every star out here and enjoy the escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. With wide open spaces you have so much room to play.
The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

Welcome to Red Rock Roping! Where you will be a close 3 mile drive to old town Cave Creek restaurants, bars, and shopping strip. But far enough to enjoy a quiet and peaceful scenery of mountains, sunsets and sunrises. Don’t forget to kick your feet up, and end your night to enjoy a wide open view of the stars! Also, keep your eyes open for desert critters such as rattlesnakes, tarantulas, scorpions, deer, road runners, bob cats, and coyotes. We ask please do not pet, catch, feed or leave any food out that will attract them. Enjoy them from a picture away :)
Our 2 accessible acres will give you 360 view of mountains, our Red Rock Roping arena, and a Saloon to gather under to enjoy cool refreshments, and a meal with your friends/family. Right outside our entrance going North on 80th Street you can hike over to the Grapevine Wash which is a short walk away from the Cave Creek Town Trail System for hiking and horseback riding, and if you’re adventurous you can hike up 2 miles of a 800’ climb on a gravel road/trails to “Mexican Hat” for an even more incredible view! We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed.
Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too!
We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance.

I find myself running out of superlatives when trying to figure out how to describe this wonderful family and their Hipcamp site. We planned 4 overnights to recharge and relax. We actually changed our forward plans so we could spend one more day here. Mel is a total five star host, the views and sunsets from the property are superb, the nights are wonderfully quiet, and everything around the entire property is exceedingly neat and thoughtfully arranged. We enjoyed one night in the common area (the Saloon) visiting with Mel's family and a fellow guest over in the bunkhouse and had a lovely time. The larger area is also worth the visit. We enjoyed the charming Carefree and Cave Creek towns and swam and worked out over at the Desert Foothills YMCA (15 min drive away). Heartily recommended!

The instructions and Google maps to the site were perfect. All that the site now needs is a sign saying you have arrived. Luis, the host, was very helpful in confirming through a photo that we sent him that we were in the right place.
We have been traveling with our two active Australian Shepherds and have been in quite a few RV parks already. Everywhere they have been for days on end has been harness and leash. For our busy dogs staying here was a vacation from our vacation. We will be looking for more opportunities like Luis offers. OFFLEASH!
While there we heard other dogs in the distance but did not see them.
Pulling a 32' fifth wheel down the road in was do-able, go slow. We didn't need to put the truck into 4 wheel drive. Leaving this morning the ground was wet from rain in the night but the road was still fine. Not too sure how we would have faired with more rain.

Karla's ranch is an exceptional place to camp out in Cochise county. She has all the amenities you need to feel at home, with her special artistic touch. The tent areas are a lot of fun and very welcoming. Although it's not pool season yet, the pool is immaculate and patios and pool house are lovely. The toilet and small kitchen area is clean and functional. I really enjoyed all of the decor and personal art. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Thanks Karla!

Absolutely beautiful piece of country!! We loved our stay, especially Fred, the feline mayor of Shiloh Ranch. The place has the vibe of grandma's house, with a well-appointed kitchen and plenty of the basics along with lightning fast internet.

We liked staying at Red Rock Horse property. It was convenient to Sedona and peaceful for sleeping in our van. It was a little too expensive though as there is nothing to do or see or nice walking but when you can’t get into Rancho Sedona RV Park it’s a nice alternative.

Sandee is an amazing host! She stopped by when I arrived to show me around the cabin. She was so warm and welcoming. The place had everything I could need, and then some! This would be a perfect place to bring my family.
In the morning I took Sandee’s recommendation and drove through Petrified Forest and Painted Desert National Parks, which was an amazing experience after a very restful night at Shiloh Ranch.

Really enjoyed this spot. Beautiful views of mountains. Sunrises and sunsets. Quiet. The "outhouse" is really a lovely well kept bathroom with a great shower. After being on the road a while it's really nice to have a real bathroom and shower. Also access to laundry is great. And Mel is kind and accommodating. I think this will be my preferred place to stay when I come to the Phoenix area.

7 nights at Verde River Vortex
We absolutely loved our stay at Red River Vortex! Everything about it was perfect. It was close to everything we wanted to do yet the cabin itself is somewhat remote so it's perfect for a relaxing experience. Jason was an amazing host. He suggested many incredible places to explore and was very knowledgeable about the area. We took up several of his suggestions and we were very happy that we did. I would highly recommend Jason's spot and we plan to return when we can.

4 nights at Camp Land Beyond Zion
We had an amazing time staying in Shanti's glamping tent. This is a very well thought out camp and I hope the new owners keep the vibe. The location is perfect, about 20 minutes from coral pink sand dunes. We appreciated the "super secret" back way to Zion. When you go, make sure you check out the ghost town of Grafton if you like history. We spent most of the day time out and about. Our evenings were quiet with just the right amount of other folks camping to make it interesting. The kitchens are very well stocked with pretty much everything you need. We didn't even need to break out our mess kits. There's pretty much no cell service, but the wifi is quick so you can research things to do the next day. Sliding down the sand dunes was the highlight of the trip for our 14 year old. The hot tub was perfect after a full day of adventuring. The only problem the entire trip was the wind. It's a bit unrelenting. Keep this in mind if you're planning on tent camping. In the glamp tent, it was no problem. My husband was even too hot under the warm blankets. I can't say enough about the view. The mountains in the area are spectacular. 10/10 for sure.
