We have a cool shaded retreat for your picnic in the Park. It’s a wooded area in a narrow, steep-walled riparian canyon that was originally developed in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps as part of their larger Park building initiative. Located below Colossal Cave, there are spots to accommodate large or small groups alike. The El Bosquecito and La Selvilla areas can entertain up to 72 and 96 people, respectively. The Cowboy Campground and Cowboy Ramada can also entertain up to 80 and 100 people. All have picnic tables, firepits and grills. Restrooms and water are also available at the group sites.
Didn’t bring your lunch? No problem. The Terrace Café has delicious grab-n-go Tucson specialties and other favorites, so pick your spot, relax, and listen for the birds to serenade your lunch.
If you’d like to spend more than just the day, why not camp here under the magnificent Sonoran skies? Campsites are tucked among the magnificent saguaro cacti and mesquite trees in Posta Quemada canyon, an area developed in 1934 by the Civilian Conservation Corps. These grounds consist of 4 large areas, El Bosquecito, La Selvilla, Cowboy Campground and Cowboy Ramada plus a number of smaller areas totaling 15 individual sites.

• Tent Camping: $15 per tent/night
• Group Site reservations: $150 per night (if you have more than 10 guests you are saving money compared to the individual rate!)
• RV, Car, and Horse Trailer Camping: $15 per vehicle/night
*Please note that Park entrance and exit gates LOCK at 4pm and reopen at 8am. For large groups, special accommodations may be available in regards to the opening/closing times.

At 6000ft elevation the air is much cleaner and the weather is much cooler, especially in the summer time! We have plenty of space. A well house to fill up your water. There are also outdoor bathrooms, no shower yet, but working on that! We're just a short seven minute drive to the dump station at a local gas station down the road on the Deuce of Clubs and Penrod. We are 14 minutes from a large hospital, 10 minutes from major grocery stores, shopping and restaurants, and many other fun activities. Our location is in a perfect spot to enjoy the blue sky and great weather. Sunrise Ski area is a quick drive too! Pinetop Lakeside are within 10 minutes, Taylor and Snowflake are within 15 to 25 minutes. We hope you visit and continue to keep our environment clean and a chill spot to visit. We are home to a family-friendly honky-tonk, and microbrewery, now open. Please check our Instagram or Facebook @the4sbarn and @greatskycampranch_showlowaz for updates. Seasonal business may change our days/hours of operation.

If you want to bring a properly raised young person you can make your case to me and I will consider.
I offer 2 full hook-up spaces, one space is covered. Power is 50 AMPS! An RV must be under 12' to fit under the covered space.
I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.
Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

Our sunsets and night star-gazing are just spectacular and we're enough off the beaten path that there's no crowds or traffic to deal with, but you are close to dining and area attractions.
This is a quiet, rural neighborhood and a peaceful farm that borders the National Forest for easy hiking and few neighbors. The farm animals do cluck, crow, whinny, neigh, baa, bleat, squeal, and oink at various times, including early morning.
There is one mile of a somewhat bumpy gravel road with hills to reach our neighborhood, so please make sure you are ready for that and have adequate towing power. The nearest services and dining are 5 minutes away. We are about 25-30 minutes to Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek,
and the popular red rock hiking sites. There are many wineries and dining right down the road to enjoy.

The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road could be difficult to navigate.

Iron Quail Ranch is a modern off-grid regenerative homestead and meat goat ranch. The ranch lies in the center of Avra Valley, Arizona on historic farm and ranch land which has gradually been managed to return to its natural state of mesquites, ironwoods, cacti, and natural grasses. The ranch sits beautifully positioned between Saguaro National Park and Ironwood Forest National Monument.
At Iron Quail Ranch we offer you a private and secure RV or tent campsite on 15 acres adjoining over 200,000 acres of public lands.
There are unobstructed views of Saguaro National Park (West) and a private entrance into Ironwood Forest National Monument. There is abundant wildlife thriving in the riparian watershed on the property.
There is easy access to both National parks from the property via ATV/UTV, car/truck, or even horseback. The level campsites can fit everyone from a tent camper up to 40-foot RVs. There is good cell phone reception on all major carriers at the property. Potable water, a sewer dump station, an outdoor kitchen, and a modern outhouse are available on the property. 120v electric charging stations are also available to recharge your small portable electronic devices.

This is the perfect spot for relaxing, stargazing, and soaking in those famous Arizona sunsets. You’ll have a spacious, private campsite all to yourself—I only allow one booking at a time to ensure a peaceful and personal experience.
Please note: This is a working horse ranch, which means you'll see fencing, trailers, and occasional activity from people helping keep the ranch running. While your campsite is private, our property is just over two acres—so you'll also see neighboring homes. If you're looking for complete solitude with no sights, sounds, or smells of ranch life, I recommend dispersed camping elsewhere.
My 2.2-acre private horse ranch is home to:
• 8 rescue horses
• 2 donkeys
• 8 mini pigs and a few chickens!

Trail access? Absolutely.
Hiking and horseback riding trails lead directly from the property into Spur Cross Conservation Area—or take a short 10-minute drive to a main trailhead. Black Mountain Hiking Trail is also nearby and offers panoramic views of the valley. You can even ride your horse into town and tie up at the local cowboy bars!

A few things to note:
• The landscape varies with the season—there won’t be green grass in the summer
• Please keep pets away from cactus—they bite!
• We’re located in a desert neighborhood, so please respect the nearby homes. My house and neighbors house will be in view from your campsite.
• A horse corral (50 ft round pen) is available to rent—message me if interested!

Looking for more adventure? Lake Pleasant, Bartlett Lake, Tonto National Forest, Seven Springs, and other scenic destinations are a short drive away. Need supplies? Walmart, Lowe’s, Tractor Supply, and more are just 10 minutes down the road. Want to explore a truly unique cowboy town? Cave Creek is full of Old West charm, with saloons, quirky shops, live music, and horses sharing the road with motorcycles.

Tiffany and Gil were amazing and very welcoming! The campsite is beautiful and it looks even better than it does in the pictures. The bathrooms and the shower were very clean. I loved the shower and the water pressure was amazing. I would definitely recommend using the hot tub at night. It’s perfect for looking at the stars at night! We showed up after hours to Wild West and Scott put his boots back on to help us get all set up, firewood, propane, and sold us a 6 pack of beer. While me and our kids visited with the resident emus, he and my husband took care of business and he even gave us some tips and advice as new RVers.He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to us! We will definitely be coming back to Wild West!!

Gil and Tiffany were tremendous hosts! Felt welcomed and they were positively engaging and I felt like family. Wonderful view from my campsite. Best showers I've ever had and kitchen was roomy and well stocked and easy to use. A wonderful Hostel feel to everything! If you are traveling for a Zion experience definitely stay here and if not make this a destination stay of 3-5 days and enjoy the spirit and vibe of this place and enjoy Zion as a bonus. It was a lovely little ranch with all kinds of animals. The hostess was super accommodating and showed my 2 girls around and introduced them to the animals and let them help feed and water them too. Holly was great and I hope to go back again soon! My little ones didn't want to leave. The RV spot for us was easy to get in and out of. Power, water, and septic hookups were exactly where they needed to be, couldn't have asked for a better place or host. If you have kiddos they'll love it, I know mine has a blast.

Quiet and peaceful site. Coconino National Forest is located right behind the property and the hosts let you hike in that area so this is a great location to camp and explore Sedona!
Site is mostly level. We had to put few leveling blocks on one side, but that is more for my husband’s comfort than most folks would need to do. Bonus – they have leveling blocks there in case you forget yours!
Hook ups were easy but the sewer connect is far away. But again, the host realized that and have extended hoses there for you to connect.
Your site is next to a dirt road but the host put up dust blockers on the fence so you won’t feel like you are in a dust storm.
Our host checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. We would stay here again!

It’s a very peaceful area and was a great way for us to officially break in our new Sprinter van camper. It is a short drive into Sedona and yet the site offered a quiet evening camping experience just outside Sedona.
