Their place is nice and quiet at the foot of a small hill. I was unlucky with the weather; it rained a little in the morning. Raquel and Martin invited me to share their coffee, and we had a very interesting conversation. They are very friendly, and I highly recommend staying here.

The camping area is secluded from the rest of the tourist area. There is a good ablution block with showers toilets and sinks with hot and cold water. There are areas set aside for barbecuing or even an open fire. They do have hey Weber kettle Grill there available but you have to bring your own charcoal of course. Lots of cats around which add to the ambience. Definitely would suggest for camping. We were a group of four total having two tents. If there are a lot more people camping it will make the ablution block a lot more crowded.

Tent camping at Firetree was fantastic! Martin, Raquel, and Jessi were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Communication was seamless, and the directions to the site were spot-on. The property itself is excellent, offering potable water, a well-equipped cooking and fire pit area, Starlink-powered WiFi, and a full bathhouse with showers and toilets. I would happily go out of my way to stay here again.

Miguel and his family are such kind people and my friends and I could not thank them enough for the beautiful experience staying in Monument Valley. While the dirt road to the place is a bit difficult at times with the sand, once we arrived at the campsite there was unconditional support and friendly respect from the landowners! When staying in Monument Valley to see the stars and the beautiful desert scape, there isn’t a better place I would recommend!

Directions to arrive were absolutely spot on and easy to follow. We had no trouble getting to the place and Martin was so friendly when we arrived. The tour was great and Martin pointed out shaded areas as well as the facilities and things to do during our stay.
Our chats the next morning were lovely and it’s great to enjoy the local living.
We used our camper and the sunroof was awesome to watch the moon and stars in the evening.

Once we arrived, we really enjoyed the beautiful canyon and property. The shower/bathroom house had hot water, a couple of showers and toilet stalls. DEFINITELY use the printed directions. The dirt road is packed sand and very tricky without 4WD, especially after flash flooding that happened a couple of days prior. The outdoor kitchen and fire pit were well stocked and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at Firetree.
Martin and Raquel were wonderful hosts.
Raquel gave us a tour of their small orchard, and showed us the inside of a Hogan.
You can climb/hike to the top of the mesa behind the campsite. Time didn't permit us to do so. I'm sure the viewing is great up there.
Firetree is about 15 minutes away from Monument Valley and approximately 20 minutes from Forrest Gump Hill.
The bathrooms and showers were clean and in good working order.

We got there after 9 (we let them know in advance) and they were the kindest! Even when we ended up being a bit too much noisy… the places looks amazing especially the sunset!! And don’t make me start with the stars at night… so so beautiful. The bathroom is also very clean and the warm weather is a blessing. Would love to come back!

We as a family loved to stay at the FireTree Inn. The remote location made for a very special stay, with a fantastic sunset. The host family was very nice and approachable, the campspot great with a group fire place, barbeque, and great roaming area. The facilities offered by FireTree inn were very clean, super in operations and more than we expected.
And the young cats were a treat for our children.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We thuroughly enjoyed our stay a little off the beaten track. Bathrooms etc. were immaculately kept, and we would certainly like to stay there again in the future. We would gladly recommend this place to anybody.

Der Platz für die Zelte müsste dringend präpariert werden mit Sand und feinem Kiesel. Zurzeit ist er schlammig und soft.
Die sanitären Anlagen sind ok.
Die Erdhäuser sind beeindruckend, aber das Klima darin hat erstaunt. Es war sehr warm und ohne Klimaanlage nicht erträglich. Der Preis für die Übernachtung (Zelt/Erdhaus) sehr teuer. Der Host war freundlich.

I can't suggest much! The site is lovely, not crowded, Martin and Raquel are great hosts, and the actual plumbing (bathrooms and showers!) really makes this place stand out. The hiking trails nearby are short but lovely and unique. These are all big positives. I would definitely recommend staying in one of their hogans rather than tenting. During our stay the neighborhood dogs barked all night and we couldn't sleep - tent was not good for this but I'm sure inside it would have not been a problem. Also the (only 2) tent sites (while nice and level and smooth!) are in full sun almost all day, which means you should be doing something else other than staying in camp during the day, it can be pretty warm. So it's not for everyone but its a unique and interesting spot.

Martin and Raquel's place was amazing! This was my first time using hip camp and it exceeded my expectation. Martin and Raquel and family were so hospitable. The place was well equipped with grill, showers, camp fires, tables and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend!

10 out of 10! We loved every bit of our stay. Our host was very kind. The property is well maintained, safe, shower and bathrooms are very clean. We are coming back :) There are cats on the property that leave you alone unless you invite them over. That was the best part! We snuggled with kittens around the camp fire. The only thing about this area (no reflection on the property what so ever) is the wild and domestic dogs that howl at night. I recommend bringing ear plugs. They are far away but bark to one another a lot about the coyotes (I guess). What a gem of a find :)

We loved Martin and Raquel’s quaint spot which exceeded our expectations. After a long day of driving and exploring the local areas, it was very refreshing to get such luxury showers in the middle of no-where. Their spot is also house to some of the darkest skies in the country so star gazing was an absolute delight. Thank you guys 😌

This private campground is tucked away and quiet with beautiful trails wandering into the hills. We stayed at a tent site for one night and would happily come back.

We had one of the tent pads at Firetree and were very pleased with the view of the stars as well as the atmosphere of the campsite. Martin gave us the tour and was quite pleasant. The bathrooms and showers were as clean as one could ask for. All in all, great experience.

Firetree Inn is an oasis in a desert very close to Monument Valley.
It feels like a boutique hotel where the rooms are hogans. Everything is very tastefully decorated. Of course, if you are booking one of the two tent sites you miss the hogan experience but will still enjoy the rest: Everything is clean including the bathrooms and Raquel and Martin are very friendly and accommodating hosts.
The campsites are clean flat areas perfect to pitch a tent for a night. A few steps away is a picnic area with tables, chairs, water, and shared charcoal grills.
