Al was very friendly and hospitable, greeting us at the entrance, guided us to our options, and making sure all our needs were met. We were able to select a site right next to the river. There is a communal area with a fire pit, plenty of firewood, and several tables, some enclosed in screens.

The perfect overnight for our roadtrip —Unbeatable views and fabulous location near Monument Valley! Jermey was quick to respond and kind. We ended up staying in Site 5 which was perfect! The bathroom was clean and close to each campsite. Absolutely recommend!

1 night at Wildland Gardens

We had such a great stay!! The tent was cozy and comfortable and it was such a great to be able to take a nice warm shower and make tea in the morning. Would absolutely recommend and come back!

Arrowhead campground is in a fantastic location! Absolutely stunning views all around. It was pretty windy, and we were concerned about blowing sand, but glad we toughed it out. Waking up to calm, clear skies set us up for a very early start exploring all that Monument Valley has to offer. Gorgeous!

We had a wonderful three night stay! We absolutely loved having the beautiful GSD greet us but it was a bonus for him to hang with us so long. He’s so precious! Monument Valley is stunning and it was so nice to camp so close to the entrance. The bathrooms were very clean and so was the land. Thank you again, Jeremy!

We loved this campsite. The wood is a little rundown, but you can't beat the lake. The campsite was huge, away from the road, and more secluded. It had plenty of shade. We felt like we had our own private beach and lake. It was fantastic! We will definitely go there again.

Arrowhead Campground had stunning views! We had a picnic table, fire pit and a shade structure at our site. There were two outhouses available that were clean and didn't smell. It was easy to find the campground from the rotary with the directions provided. We had a great night there, having dinner, watching the sunset and then looking at the stars. We met Ken, Jeremy's brother, who was so kind and shared stories with us. We also met the German shepherd that lives there and he was so awesome. Overall, a great place to stay for the night.

Our stay here was short but beautiful. Think big open space with gorgeous views of the Zion backcountry. Directions were accurate and we had no issues upon arrival. Will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Kolob Campground

This is our favorite lake, and this is the first time we book a spot on this side. It was awesome, the camping host checked in with us as soon as we got there and made sure we got access to a gas fire bowl. Weather is very unpredictable. Pack warm clothing JUST in case. Also make sure you bring a heater or enough bedding to stay warm at night. The site was clean of trash, however it did have a lot of weeds and overgrown grass so space was a little tight. I e managed though, as we booked on same day and they didn’t have time to prep the spot. The porta potties were clean and surprisingly didn’t smell bad. I was expecting less, and was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely book again!

No words to describe my experience here! Before we arrived, I asked about a bigger campsite since the previous reviews on 15 said the site was very small. It indeed was, and would only recommend max 4 people at that site. John called me and told me to communicate w Norm who I assume maintains the campsite. When we initially arrived, we ran into Norm who was in the middle of assisting another group with car problems. Already a great sign! I love that he made it a point to assist others. We asked a lot of Norm, but he did not hesitate to make sure our trip was nothing but great. I seriously don’t think thank you was enough for what he did for our group. And he did everything with a smile on his face. The campsite itself was only a short -less than 5 minute- walk away from the Kolob Reservoir. It was beautiful, but don’t forget the bug spray for all the mosquitoes. The add-on fire pit is a must! We came in late June and it was so cold during the night we had to buy more blankets. Low of 48°. Campsite is very quiet, others were very respectful of the quiet hours. There are porta potties which are very clean & well maintained. WiFi is fast. If you’re planning on going to Zion, this campsite is a must. Yes, it’s an hour away, but it’s so much cooler since it’s up the mountain. I highly recommend!! I am definitely coming here again.

Weekend Trip to Hope Acres Glampground

I had a great stay! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the amenities were all very good. It's just a few minutes from Starvation Reservoir, which was a big plus. The host, Matt, was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a very pleasant experience—I'd definitely come back!

My girlfriend and I found our perfect escape at Zion Wright Family Ranch. This huge, family-owned ranch offered us such peace and quiet, with dispersed camping and glamping options that gave us incredible privacy and stunning views of Zion National Park's red cliffs. Waking up to those amazing sunrises and stargazing at night was pure magic for us. We loved getting a glimpse of authentic ranch life, and the horseback ride with owner Bill Wright was definitely a highlight – a truly immersive way to explore the land together. Even though it feels off-the-grid, the ranch has everything you need, and we loved that it's pet-friendly for our furry companion. The location is perfect: close enough to Zion National Park (about 30-40 minutes) for easy access, but far enough to escape the crowds and truly unwind. Zion Wright Family Ranch isn't just a place to stay; it's an immersive experience that perfectly blends stunning natural beauty with genuine Western hospitality. We can't wait to go back to this special spot.

You are camping! Be prepared for bugs, insects, ants, spiders, Cottonwood beetles, caterpillars, lizards, deer, cotton from the trees, etc. Leaving food out or unsecured, attracts bugs and Ravens. Ravens are smart, they will wait until you leave and will get into everything except zippered tents, closed coolers, and locked cars, (at least thus far)! Plan accordingly. No dogs are allowed in the camp or parking lot. Before Booking Acknowledgement: Tent Only: No RVs, trailers, campers, or vehicles in camp. Park in the parking lot and use our handy carts to get your gear to your site. Sleeping in vehicles and in the parking lot is not allowed. Urban Campground: Our campground is right in the middle of beautiful downtown Moab. The best description I can give of our property is that it's great for a convenient and quaint "Stop and Sleep". This is because we are located right off of the old main highway and have two neighbors within eyesight from the house. This site is very convenient for quick stays since it is so CLOSE TO THE HIGHWAY this makes it convenient but may not be appropriate for very light sleepers or for extended stays. The camping area is simple, with wild grass and a fire pit, bordered by the river on one side and the horse pasture on the other. You can see and hear the river easily April-July. The river is seasonal and does dry up in mid July-August. Drinkable hose water is available near the house. If you want a ranch-style camping experience with lots of interaction with your hosts and opportunity for adventure then you have chosen the right camping location! You are welcome to join in the daily choring activities or choose to be taken on a scenic trail ride or thrilling guided gallop on beautiful and well-trained rescue horses.PLEASE NOTE: The bathroom is located in our house and has a flushable toilet and shower with hot water. Bathroom hours are 8am-9pm. Parking is located a few hundred feet from the campsite, just off of the road. You must walk a few hundred feet to get to the campsite and you cannot pull your vehicle right up to it. While we do welcome car campers and pop-up trailers, just know you won't be parked at the campsite if you choose to sleep this way. We look forward to having you camp with us!

(Larger Family Gathering must be approved and pay extra based on the number of family or friends expected) WE DO NOT HAVE A FIRE BAN AT THE MOMENT BUT FIRES NEED TO BE SMALL AND UNDER A WATCHFUL EYE. ALL FIREWORKS ARE CURRENTLY STRICTLY PROHIBITED We are not a public campground and only list through Hipcamp and so our property is posted with NO TRESPASSING SIGNS. It is very important to let us know your approximate arrival time and call when you arrive. We will guide you down to the campgrounds and show you the best spots base on your type of camping. (Sleeping in trailers or van's versus tent campers) One draw back to our property is that we are within 1/2 mile of a well use highway (US 84) and railroad track. We have only had one camper who was concerned about the noise. Here at the house we don't notice it and maybe we are just use to it. Limited swimming and use of paddle board based on river conditions. Fishing is limited because we are on private property and the river is not stocked by the Utah fish and game. So, we are dependent on normal reproduction of the fish. Fly fishing being the best however you can use lures. Power bait or any bait that requires treble hooks are not allowed.. We would prefer catch and release. ALL UTAH FISHING REGULATION APPLY. WE HAVE INDICATED WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE. THE WHOLE AREA IS BASICLLY LEVEL AND GRASS AND BARK COVERED.

In addition there is little old rustic camp store placed in the middle of nowhere where we provide fuel, snacks, firewood, ice, showers, cold drinks & more. Although the Lasal Jct. now has burger truck, showers, ice and snacks. The nearby La Sal mountains rise to over 12,000 in elevation and is a great place to get out of the heat and enjoy lakes surrounded by beautiful pine and aspen forests. As the name suggests, Where The Wild Things Camp truly is wild and not for everyone. We are off grid, meaning there is NO electricity, no drinking water, and only "spotty" cell phone service is best just anywhere before bathrooms. Make sure to check the weather forecast before coming out and be prepared for anything as the weather here in the desert can be unpredictable and ALWAYS stake down your tents! We are geared towards outdoor adventurists and sightseers wanting a cost-effective stay while taking advantage of everything Moab has to offer! We are locally owned by a family of 8 and love calling Moab our home. We understand the corporate overtaking that Moab has had in the last 5 years and plan to keep our campground affordably priced and locally owned. We have upgraded the old site plan from 7 RV sites to 55 Full Service RV sites this year. Most sites are pull through but we will have some back-ins. Our new bathhouse has a laundry, women's bathrooms and showers, men's bathrooms and showers, and an ADA compliant family style bathroom. In addition to the new bathhouse, we have a new office and retail store where we sell souvenirs, RV supplies, snacks, drinks, ice, firewood, and other necessities for guests. We do not currently have propane fill on site. We know that there are many options to choose from when it comes to staying in Moab. We urge people to support locally owned businesses that help Moab grow and solve problems that exist in our community. Moab is a recreation mecca with something for everyone and our little campground on the south end of the valley puts you within minutes of town, the mountains, and the red deserts around Moab.

Calling all travelers who want an escape from the mundane! Our "Enchanted Urban TREE HOUSE" is called this due to the upper loft area with skylights that look into the trees branches above! The Enchanted Whimsical theme is very "Alice In Wonderland-esc". Allow yourself and your group to be enchanted by the livingroom's GOLD CEILINGS and clocks wall, reminding you to unwind and take some time for self care! On the topic of self-care, upon ascending the GOLD SPIRAL STAIRCASE located in the newly remodeled kitchen, you will be hugged with a unique meditation station, just outside the loft bedroom. Here there are ton's of tiny golden mirrors and some meditation floor pads, for an ideal spot to sit in contemplation and seek your most present minded self. A door-way off this room leads you into the "tree-house" feeling bedroom. The green color scheme and the skylight peering at the branches of the trees which extend over the roof in the sky, create a "tree-house like" experience. Back down on the ground level, you will find a second and third bedroom. The first one has a queen bed as well as a closet. The 3rd bedroom sleeps just one person with a twin bed and is at the back of the house. The window looking out back from here is the closest room to the hot tub/gazebo area in the backyard, which is professionally cleaned and maintained. There is a remodeled, full bath with bath tub on the ground level. This is the only bathroom in this home. The remodeled kitchen is well stocked/appointed. This backyard space has a couple outside table and chair areas, and it is the place we would as that you park during your stay, accessing it through the alley (see listing photos). The yard is fully fenced. The neighborhood is a mix of single family and multifamily dwellings and is close to Freeway entrances, minutes from restaurants, bars entertainment
