Camp Along the Green River Ever wanted to camp along the Green River? We invite you to come stay on our property and experience it for yourself. Enjoy beautiful white sandy beaches nestled among cottonwood trees right along the river, where the only sounds you’ll hear are those of nature. Guests can spend their time fishing, tubing, kayaking, or simply relaxing along the water. Depending on the time of year, the surrounding area is also great for riding ATVs or four-wheelers. At night, with no city lights nearby, the sky opens up to incredible stargazing. We offer two different campsites: • Riverside Site – Located directly along the Green River, surrounded by cottonwood trees and white sandy beaches, providing a true riverside camping experience. • Family Site – This site includes a fence and gate between the campsite and the river, making it a great option for guests with small children. It also features cottonwood trees that provide shade from the summer sun. During the summer months, mosquitoes can occasionally be heavy due to the proximity to the river. To help with this, we provide tiki torches filled with mosquito-repellent oil at both campsites—guests simply need to light them as needed. We also recommend bringing personal insect repellent for added comfort. If you happen to forget, we do keep some available for purchase. We look forward to hosting you and sharing this peaceful riverside setting.

Dinosaur National Monument camping guide

Overview

About

See a dinosaur quarry and dinosaur bones up close and personal at this unique park. No, it's not Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble digging with a brontosaurus. These are fossilized bones tens of millions of years old.

The monument itself coves a whopping 210,000 acres, which means you can roam places where dinos once frolicked. Imagine being a giant dino with a long neck and tail lumbering through a shallow sea. Humans came much later, and they left behind ancient petroglyphs at this site.

When you've had your fill of history, head down the Green River. This narrow waterway carved a tall canyon. If you're experienced enough, BYOB (bring your own boat) and hit the rapids. Otherwise, a couple of outfitters can guide you on a whitewater adventure.

Hike through this untamed wilderness and marvel at the geology of the place. Although it might get hot, there are plenty of tall rocky outcroppings that offer shade. Six campgrounds give you places to sleep for tent or RV camping.
