This Outpost and campground is located on 640 acres of private property surrounded by park and public land. It has been here for over 30 years in some form or another. We are Caleb & Amber who enjoyed managing this little oasis in the middle of the desert from March to June of 2017 when we decided to purchase the business & make it our own. This is a dry, rugged campground with a bathhouse that provides coin operated showers and flush toilets. In addition there is little old rustic camp store placed in the middle of nowhere where we provide fuel, snacks, firewood, ice, showers, cold drinks & more. If you are looking for a more private site with lots of space and shade, book our Small Group at the Rocks. For a warmer stay during the cooler months book one of our Glamping Tents listed. We have the larger, and spacious tent in the grove of the Juniper Trees (which is also amazing in the warmer season) and rent a heater from us inside the general/camp store. BE SURE TO GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME TO CHECK IN NO LATER THAN 5PM. THANK YOU!! DON'T FORGET TO TAKE A SCREEN SHOT OF THE DIRECTIONS HERE, YOU WILL LOSE SERVICE ON YOUR WAY.

Mo~Rock'n Tent
Paradise in Canyonlands
My best hipcamping experience yet! Amber's directions were clear and helpful and she had great communication. The location is excellent in both the aspect that it's extremely convenient for exploring the Needles District of Canyonlands, as well as that it has an isolated-out-in-nature feeling. There were great amenities such as the general store she runs which includes both necessities like food and drinks, but also fun things like jewelry and clothing. There were also showers, toilets, wifi, and even gas if needed. My partner and I stayed in the "Mo'Rockn" Tent which was our first time ever glamping (as we usually rough it in a regular tent.) It was so worth it!! Absolutely beautiful tent inside and out. She keeps it very clean and stocked with everything you'll need. She throws in some extra amenities for the glampers such as fire starters, shower tokens, cooking pots and pans, comfy chairs, and more. A real cherry on top of the whole experience was getting to climb and explore the rocks that surround the camping area. We got up there in time to watch the most beautiful sunset. Another bonus—she has the sweetest little dog who loves belly rubs! Thank you again, Amber, for such a wonderful time, if we're back in the area we'll be staying again!

Big View Camping!
I loved camping at the "View of the Needles" Campground, just outside the Canyonlands-Needles District park boundary. Amazing views, spectacular sunsets and sunrises, and dark sky - star gazing make this a perfect basecamp for adventuring in the park. Camps host Amber is a delight to meet and so friendly and helpful. And how great that you can go hiking in the sun and then stop by the Outpost store for ice cream on your way back to camp. I highly recommend

Fantastic area with plenty of things to do that were close by. It was very quiet and climbing on the rocks behinds the campsite offers some great views without having to hike a massive trail. The host was very nice and accommodating and the small shop right next to the camp sites offers most of the things you need that you may have forgotten before arriving at the site. I would definitely recommend this place and plan on visiting again soon!
