Beautiful vistas. Special place. We took a beautiful hike in Paradox Valley and enjoyed what the two little towns of Naturita (20 min drive) Nucla have to offer. Bedrock (where the site is located) has what looks like an adorable general store, but it was not opened while we were there. Thanks for your sharing your space, Justin!

This place was amazing! Beautiful area and very private. We rode bikes to the canyon and hiked all around. The stars at night were spectacular. Justin was an awesome host also!

From the drive into the area to setting up camp, this location was outstanding! Probably one of the best sites I have ever booked on HipCamp. I had the entire place to myself and have truly never seen the Milky Way so vividly as I did here. Justin provided very clear check-in instructions, and the views extend for miles in every direction. Do yourself a favor and do not miss this place.
Earl’s place had amazing sunset views. It was very quiet and the stars were beautiful.
This is truly a hideaway, and we met Earl himself. He is quite an outstanding young man. Justin is an excellent host with great communication. The property is as described: isolated, off the beaten path, and wonderful to sit in nature and listen. The site is near the mouth of Dolores Canyon, an outstanding historical place to visit. The towns of Bedrock and Paradox are completely without services. The closest services are in Naturita 22 miles away, so be prepared. Nothing is quick and easy if you forget something.
Do be prepared with bug spray we had quite a few gnats, which is typical for desert camping. The views are outstanding please be mindful pick up after yourself. Keep it outstanding for the next visitor.

Only great things to say about this campsite. Room to roam and snow capped mountains to the East and West. Wildflowers in bloom- my favorite (Desert Globemallow) everywhere. Views of the Milky Way at night. Sounds of the coyotes at dusk. Justin was welcoming and communicative throughout. This is a special place. I’d camp here again! Dog approved!

Justin was incredible with communication and we had such a great time. The land is really cool, we walked around it the next morning and it's a great space in the middle of nowhere and very private. We will definitely try to go there again!

Undiscovered country.. The nearby canyon is stunning.
Justin (the host) was very clear with directions and helpful. The campground was very beautiful, surrounded by cool looking mountains. We were the only people there so it was nice and quiet. The property is so big that anyone could get seclusion even with 10 other people there. Getting there was easy and the dirt path was not bad at all for our Grand Caravan. I would recommend!!

Justin’s directions were clear. It is a stunning location to camp, every direction has a view.
We had a very special Thanksgiving cooking and camping on Justin’s land. He went the extra mile to contact me the day before arrival to make sure we found the place easily and knew where to stock up on supplies near the property. We had the freedom to park and set up camp wherever felt right inside the property lines. The land has beautiful 360’ views of the mountains and surrounding mesas, and our dogs loved exploring the area. Thank you Justin—we’ll return again soon!
This was a stunning place to pitch a tent! It is situated in this absolutely gorgeous valley. The drive was about an hour and a half outside of Moab (our destination area) and the drive is so scenic, the time passes very fast. The gate’s lock was a little stubborn to open, thankfully another camper came to help! Setting up camp was very easy and despite there being other campers, we were able to find a spot completely secluded. There were these very small sand spurs around that our pup didn’t necessarily mind, but they do get stuck in your shoes and gear- would bring a tarp next time. We will definitely be back to enjoy this beautiful spot!

We loved everything about Earl's Hideaway! From the access (easy), to the space (plenty), to the views (stunning), Earl's is a place we see ourselves coming back to time and time again. The host was very communicative and clear with instructions, the other campers were friendly, and the need to be self-contained is just how we like to camp.

Beautiful land with a communicative and kind host. Even took the time to call us to make sure we had all the directions correct! I recommend using two people to open the gate if possible to make sure nothing gets bent. Amazing views and very easy access to Moab/arches. If you visit soon, we left a fresh set up batch of firewood in the spot viewing the cabin :)

We had a great time. Views at night are incredible! Very clean camping area. Driveway is a little tricky for low clearance car but we managed just fine. Directions were very clear and the host is extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend!

This site is a remote gem! If you love dispersed camping and seclusion then I’d highly recommend staying here. The landscape is pristine with many local hiking options and even more if you’re willing to drive into the mountains or one of the many parks near Moab which generally are about 1.5 hours away (the drive is beautiful and the distance doesn’t feel like a chore imo). The host is incredibly kind and responsive to all questions just note that there will most likely be no cell service. Leave no trace, pack in and pack out. Salud!
