Overflow (No Hookups)
Had a great stay here. WiFi was good, clean showers and clean restrooms. No complaints. Stayed here for a total of 3 nights. Easy access to arches and canyonlands. Loved it!

RV05) RV Site - Pull Through
Never again
The camp is right next to the highway, and it was noisy. There were no fire rings for camp fires, the RV sites were not level, the place is barren, and the sites are extremely close together. The only bright spot were the brand new restrooms, which were clean, and the showers had nice hot water.

Overflow (No Hookups)
This was a great spot! The staff was very helpful and the bathhouse was brand new and very clean! The laundry was also very convenient (bring your own detergent). I felt very safe here as a young female traveling solo!

I wouldn’t tent camp here
We stayed here to car camp and I would not recommend that. The campsite is too close to the highway that all you hear is semi’s through the night. We arrived to the park at 7:30pm which the office was already closed, they left our check in sheet on the door which was very helpful. I did reach out to the owner to ask if we could somehow get a fire pit as they supplied them and got no response, so we had to eat our dinner cold. They kindly put us next to the bathroom but unfortunately that was the only spot that was muddy so our tent was quite dirty. Overall not terrible but again, if you plan on sleeping in a tent, I’d look somewhere else.

Nice campsite near Moab, UT
We enjoyed our stay at the Red River RV Park, which is located waaaay on the south end of Moab, UT. OK, it's technically in the next county, but still proximate. Our camp host was cordial and helpful.
First things first: the "big three" hookups were all up to snuff (water, power, sewer) and the spot was reasonably level. Our stay was during the offseason, which in our case was the summer (August) which many people avoid due to the heat. It was routinely over 100 degrees during the peak heat of the day, which is amplified somewhat in the RV park as the entire surface is rock. It's new rock, well distributed, not weedy, etc., but it's still rock. There's not a stitch of green anywhere sans the adjacent drainage canal. We did observe some other campsites further north from our location that did provide their guests with trees between the pads, but that was simply a drive-by observation.
The campsite itself is immediately accessed from the adjacent highway, which is convenient but you do have to account for the road noise. In our case, since it was super hot outside the air conditioner made for great white noise in our camper and allowed us to sleep mostly uninterrupted.
The shower house and public toilet building is really new and nice. The men's facility featured multiple showers, sinks and toilets. My wife's impression of the women's facilities was also very positive.
Bottom line - the campsite met our expectations and we enjoyed our stay there.

RV05) RV Site - Pull Through
Proximity to Moab, Canyonlands MP and Arches NP was our primary reason for staying here, and it suited us in terms of location. Showers and laundry are new and very clean, and I appreciated being able to do laundry at very reasonable rates ($1/load).
Communication was good. The RV lot is in full sun though, there are no trees, and we found it was often too windy to have an awning up - this wasn’t a problem for us because we were mostly away hiking.
Tip if you’re staying in the area while it’s hot: local community pool with good rates for guest access.
