The entrance gate is 12.5’ wide and is a drive in or back in site. This is an off street fenced and gated site that is easy to access, and is also secure, and private. Your rig must be fully self-contained as there are No restrooms, showers, or laundry available on site. Include RV size/type in request. TENT Campers MUST have their own portable toilets. Travel nurses are welcome. Easy access from the Freeway and Downtown Tucson. This is an off street fenced and gated site that is easy to access, and is also secure, and private. Sophia and Anthony have created a beautiful oasis in historic Barrio Hollywood. This secure gated lot is very level, beautifully landscaped with large gravel and has a nice patio, fire pit and full hookups. The property is within walking distance to several good restaurants - we particularly enjoyed Taco Giro, just 2 blocks away. Sophia greeted us warmly upon arrival and provided us with a book she had put together of local attractions and restaurants. The site was perfect for our 22’ Sprinter and was an easy drive to the Saguaro National Park and Mt. Lemmon. I highly recommend a stay here if you are in Tucson.

Sophia and her family have created a beautiful peaceful oasis in Barrio Hollywood. Safely locked behind a gated privacy fence, this spot has full hookups and a beautiful patio area with outdoor fire area. It was just the perfect size for our 22’ Sprinter and gave us easy drive times to the Saguaro National Park. Several local restaurants are within a couple of block walk - we particularly enjoyed Taco Giro, less than 2 blocks away. Communication was excellent and Sophia greeted us warmly upon arrival with a nice booklet of local attractions and eateries she had prepared. This is a true gem if you find yourself in the Tucson area

We came to Tucson to test out a campervan and are grateful for Sophia's campsite. The campsite has all the needed hookups and provides secure parking. We liked being able to park the van and walk to restaurants, the grocery store, and a paved trail. The yard is beautiful and peaceful and we wished we had more time to enjoy it.

The camp is for one camper which gives you privacy. Plus, it was fenced in for our two dogs. It was nice to let them out the door without a walk on the leash. The Hosts were really nice and very easy to work with. Location is perfect if you want to be close to all the Tucson activity. We were visiting friends and it was easy for a meetup for dinner of hikes. If you want to be close to the city this spot is where you want to be.

My dogs and I LOVED this spot!! It’s rare to find such a private oasis in such an urban area but that’s what this is. The elec hookup for my van was ideal as well as being able to top off my water tank—such a bonus! The table and chairs were so nice to get out of my vehicle and sit outside drinking coffee and oh my gosh the fire pit and firewood provided— I used it every night! I had room to do yoga outside without feeling watched like I do in campgrounds. It was one BLOCK away from the loop and since I was in Tucson to ride bikes w friends, that was so ideal. The hosts are the kindest nicest people. We will definitely be back!!! My dogs loved being able to roam in the completely fenced off yard. They rarely get to be that free. We slept well and really enjoyed our time here. Many thanks for creating such a magical and safe spot Sophia!!!

Beautiful spot nestled right where you want to be in Tucson. The host is super friendly and accommodating. The gate provides privacy and peace of mind while traveling. Our dogs loved running around and getting to relax outside the trailer. You’ll be close to delicious food and great hiking trails, and short drive from downtown. We hope to be back when we are in Tucson next and would recommend to anyone passing through!

Sophia’s place is a great choice for a short or long stay in Tucson! It is centrally located in the heart of the city, which is a huge plus. In the past, we have stayed on the perimeter, and it took an hour or more to get everywhere. Being downtown, you are 10 minutes or less to the Whole Foods and other grocery stores; five minutes from the best pizza, some of the best restaurants, or the Mercato or Annex, which are great fun. You can visit either side of Saguaro, Mt. Lemmon, Madiera Canyon, Catalania State Park, and many other outdoor attractions in 30 minutes or less and then be back intown for evening activities. You are one mile from a great clean laundromat. This proximity actually changed how I feel about Tucson as a city. The space itself is a true little oasis. Sophia has thoughtfully landscaped and designed the space, with a sitting area, lovely garden and fire pit. There is a solid metal fence that closes you in from the city, so you can relax in nature while being in the heart of downtown! The spot feels safe and secure, while being tranquil and calm in the heart of an urban environment. We are on a x-country road trip, and from experience I can say that spots like this are hard to find in cities. Sophia was helpful with recommendations and quick to respond in communication. She was also incredibly gracious. We actually extended our stay in Tucson by a day, in part because the environment was so perfect.

We loved the security and charm of this pretty, secure, campsite in the middle of a very urban area. There are lovely design choices in the charming campsite space - as well as water, electrics, etc. and it felt very private and safe: for our dog, for us, for leaving our camper. Clear communication and a warm welcome. I wish we had stayed longer and used the generous kindling and logs for the firepit as the space is so welcoming. The bright streetlight and some highway noise were not unexpected in the city - we would certinaly stay here again.

We stayed at Sophia's and Anthony's campsite for two nights. I can't say enough good things about this site! The garden is beautiful 😍 and the fence was nice and secure for our two mid-sized dogs. Anthony was a huge help to us as we backed in (we're pretty new at this). Sophia was always available to answer questions. The location was very convenient for the places we needed to go in Tucson. Overall, highly recommended!

Sophia’s place is exactly as described…a beautifully and thoughtfully designed oasis in town. Private. Secure. Clean. Electric, water and dump capacities She gave us plenty of recommendations for local events and places to eat as well as directions to the nearby river bike/hike route. We loved walking the neighborhood with its many dogs to the best coffee (barista del barrio) and donuts at Estrella’s. The botanical gardens, downtown, etc were all a quick drive. Highly highly recommend Sophia’s place if you are visiting the Tucson area.

Sophia's campsite is exceptional and was perfect for our short visit. A person could easily stay here quite comfortably for an extended period. It is private, beautiful, clean, safe, and comfortable. Sophia and Anthony are into native landscaping and the campsite has its own garden, a private patio and a firepit. It is a good place to enjoy your morning coffee or takeout from any of the great local restaurants, like El Antojo Poblano, Barrio Barista or Tania's. The location is in Barrio Hollywood which is very close to the Mercado San Augustin, the Tucson Museum of Art, Fox Theatre, and the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall. It is also 1 block away from The Chuck Huckleberry Loop, which is over 130 miles of paved pathways and bike lanes in and around Tucson. Sophia made sure we had everything we needed and is a pleasure to talk to. We will be back.
