The home was built by my parents in ‘82. My Mom was an avid hiker and outdoors person. She collected and planted agave pups in the yard and tended to them over the years. Because they’re watered and the pups are removed each spring they continue to grow to mammoth size.
Once they bloom the plant dies. 3 have bloomed, producing 40’ stalks.

Park your RV at our place on your travels, we are 5 min off the interstate! Dirt road is great for walking, some parts of the year people pass through for birding. Some people come to check out the area to potentially move to the area and some only come for the winters. We also have a short little nature trail that we made ourselves. We are 30 minutes south of Tucson, 25 minute drive away from Madera Canyon/Coronado National Forest for some great hiking and bird watching! No light pollution so you can see the stars good at night. Remember the term sky island. Here in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico, mountains seemingly come out of nowhere to dominate an otherwise flat landscape. Discover the five distinct areas of this national forest, all of which have their own sky islands.
Start your wanderings at Sabino Canyon. Steep rock cliffs and unique desert vegetation follow Sabino Creek, which maintains water year-round. I offer 2 full hook-up spaces, one space is covered. Power is 50 AMPS! An RV must be under 12' to fit under the covered space.
I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.
Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

The electricity is a 3 plug 30 amp and there is water connection. NO SWEWEGE : the closest dump off is Valero 17 miles towards Sierra Vista from this location, heading to or from the 10 on Fry blvd. The first night or (1) night of your choice will be Ghost walk night, approx 30-40 minute walking ghost tour-Revisiting the "Miracle valley shootout" Child friendly and included in your overnight fee . Each Morning Refreshments will be provided complementary. Along side the 12ft wide by 21ft long RV space will be a parking place for your unhooked vehicle.
Generator is ok,and any year make and models. canna friendly and ran by a licensed cottage bakery ,disabled and woman owned. I just ask that you keep the noise down after 10 pm as this historic neighborhood has older families occupancy .

Park your RV at our place on your travels, we are 5 min off the interstate! Dirt road is great for walking, some parts of the year people pass through for birding. Some people come to check out the area to potentially move to the area and some only come for the winters. We also have a short little nature trail that we made ourselves. We are 30 minutes south of Tucson, 25 minute drive away from Madera Canyon/Coronado National Forest for some great hiking and bird watching! No light pollution so you can see the stars good at night. Remember the term sky island. Here in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico, mountains seemingly come out of nowhere to dominate an otherwise flat landscape. Discover the five distinct areas of this national forest, all of which have their own sky islands.
Start your wanderings at Sabino Canyon. Steep rock cliffs and unique desert vegetation follow Sabino Creek, which maintains water year-round. Keep a sharp eye out for desert wildlife adapted for high heat and low humidity. Gila monsters may sun themselves on rocks, while bobcats sip from the creek's water.

If you want to bring a properly raised young person you can make your case to me and I will consider.
I offer 2 full hook-up spaces, one space is covered. Power is 50 AMPS! An RV must be under 12' to fit under the covered space.
I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.
Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

There are butterfly's around every corner .We are just below 4300 feet above sea level. Giving us the most spacious view all our surrounding attributes including but not limited too; The San Pedro river, Mexico, the milk way and Huachuca Mountains. Here you can expect to be the only guest as I only offer the one rv spot .
The electricity is a 3 plug 30 amp and there is water connection. NO SWEWEGE : the closest dump off is Valero 17 miles towards Sierra Vista from this location, heading to or from the 10 on Fry blvd. The first night or (1) night of your choice will be Ghost walk night, approx 30-40 minute walking ghost tour-Revisiting the "Miracle valley shootout" Child friendly and included in your overnight fee . Each Morning Refreshments will be provided complementary. Along side the 12ft wide by 21ft long RV space will be a parking place for your unhooked vehicle.
Generator is ok,and any year make and models. canna friendly and ran by a licensed cottage bakery ,disabled and woman owned. I just ask that you keep the noise down after 10 pm as this historic neighborhood has older families occupancy .

Loved my stay at this beautiful spot in Patagonia! Johnny was a fabulous communicator. Poppies were in brilliant bloom, trees were budding & alive with birds & song, the views of surrounding rolling hills & mountains were outstanding. Appreciated the picnic table & outhouse! Was a delight to spend a couple nights in my van. Will happily return when back this way. Last part of the hill was a tiny bit steep but doable for my 2wheel drive. Highly recommend!

One of the most important things when camping is feeling safe, and that was never a concern here. We actually felt comfortable leaving our doors unlocked during the day when we were out exploring, which says a lot. It was reassuring knowing that [host name] and [host name] were nearby in case anything unexpected happened—especially since we were traveling with our two cats and wanted peace of mind if the power went out or something came up while we were away.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and full of great recommendations for local activities and places to explore. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Bisbee/Tombstone area. Thanks for helping make this such a great trip, and if we’re ever back out this way, we’d absolutely love to camp here again!

A small but beautifully maintained private property with only a handful of sites. The outdoor shower was especially enjoyable during my visit the first few days of an exceptionally warm March.
The host was both welcoming and delightful
This property is in easy walking distance of both the Paton Center for hummingbirds/Tucson Birding Alliance for birding and downtown Patagonia for cafes, entertainment and shopping.
It was especially nice for my group of friends, most of who camp but one who prefers lodging as The Sanctuary has a nice one bedroom cottage.

Karls'a place is a patch of heaven! The detail and thought she has placed into this property if second to none. We arrived early in the day (her early in the day check-in time is a realy nice plus) and we got settled in pretty quick. It was lovely spending time with the animals such a relaxing atmosphere.
We thought we had seen it all, then night was upon us and Karla's property was that of magic. It was stunning, the lights and beauty, honeslty at every turn on the property. Not to mention the amazing AZ night sky!
Karla has stunning attention to detail and her heart has been placed into this patch of heaven in Southern AZ! I would highly recommend this Hipcamp, a truly amazing place to stay!

It was such a welcoming experience after two weeks in Mexico. The place had everything you could need—from an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill to an outdoor shower! Super cute setup and a great location, close to downtown Patagonia as well as excellent birding and hiking. The hosts were incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

Johnny’s land is a great place to post up when exploring Patagonia, the Arizona Trail, the Paton Center for Hummingbirds, or Nature Conservancy Preserve.
Decently private and quiet. The other campsite is not visible, but neighboring houses are. Expect the usual rural outdoor barking dogs, coyotes, and owls at night. The neighboring property also runs a heavy duty fan/exhaust occasionally. If a light sleeper, I’d recommend ear plugs or white noise machine to block out all the above. Your experience may vary!
Access to the Hipcamp requires driving past a few properties with aggressive no trespassing signs. Rest assured you’re going the right way on a shared road. The turn into the site is AFTER the house with the green gate — there are small hand written signs to point you in the right direction.
