We are located right across the street from 3,200 acres of Recreational State Land. Bring your hiking boots, or your ATV. Plenty of trails for both. Dogs are welcome, too! There is an old fluorite mine (Keystone Peak) to explore, and the designated shooting area is a quick walk from the campsites. This is a wildlife heavy area. It is common to see deer, rabbits, javelinas, tarantulas, and the occasional gila monster while walking about. The coyotes live next door, and have band practice every night. The owls tend to join in. Our property is 100% off-grid. Our electricity comes from solar, and our water is delivered from a local well. Each campsite is powered, and comes with a microwave, coffee pot, small refrigerator, extra outlets, and USB ports to charge phones. RV sites also have a 12 volt coach battery connection. There is also a compost toilet and fire pit for each campsite. There is a shower building on the property, as well as a grill. We are located 30 miles Southwest of Tucson. There is a Speedway gas station 5 miles away, a fun ranch style bar&grill (Fred’s) 7 miles away, and a smattering of dollar stores and an Ace Hardware 9 miles away. Be sure to bring what you need.

Discover the five distinct areas of this national forest, all of which have their own sky islands. Start your wanderings at Sabino Canyon. Steep rock cliffs and unique desert vegetation follow Sabino Creek, which maintains water year-round. Keep a sharp eye out for desert wildlife adapted for high heat and low humidity. Gila monsters may sun themselves on rocks, while bobcats sip from the creek's water. Discover Miller Peak, the highest peak in the Huachuca Mountains. Wilderness surrounding the area comprises vertical cliffs and deep canyons. Follow an 11.5-mile, moderately hard trail to the top of the mountain. The mountain rises 3,500 feet above the countrysidePets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them.

Diamond Bell Park

20. Diamond Bell Park

47mi from Nogales · 3 sites · Lodging · Tucson, AZ
