Enjoy the horses, the stars at night and our neighboring coyotes sing if you are lucky.
Our home is close by, the little white farmhouse on the hill.

There is a professional horse-boarding field and stables adjacent to our property, and a long pleasant trail allows horseback riders to follow the Verde Greenway into Old Town Cottonwood if they so desire.
Please remember that this is a natural and secluded spot located directly adjacent to the state-maintained Verde Ripparian Greenway and the Verde River. This means you may encounter wildlife and pests associated with being in such close connection to nature. Be prepared to tuck your food away and bring ample protection from the insects.

We now have 3 glamping yurts open half the year, a tiny A-frame cabin which is open year round, a yoga deck, a sauna and cold tub, composting bathrooms and open-air hot showers, a picnic area, and more projects in the works. You're welcome to walk around exploring to see what animals you might see! We also offer 4-day yoga retreats which run most weekends from Friday through Monday. Yoga classes, guided hikes, Reiki, massage, or sauna use are available as add-ons for any guests!
Glamping is a great option for first-time campers since you don't have to buy or bring any gear! Our yurts and tiny cabin are fully furnished with comfortable beds, solar power, lights, and lots of extra blankets for those chilly mountain nights! Some listings come with a camp stove and cooking gear, or you can ask about adding on Chef Zach's famous vegetarian breakfast!

Get away from neighbors and stretch out as you'll have acres all to yourself. As if the daytime views aren't breathtaking enough, the sunsets light up the sky in cotton candy to bright tangerine hues and magnify the beauty of the mountains. The night sky sparkles with stars and constellations as we are a dark sky community with very minimal light pollution for miles. The sounds of the desert and wildlife help you to get the deepest sleep as there is very little man made noise in our area. You can hike, dirt bike, bring your off-road vehicles, explore our property and rock hound for as many quartz as you can carry! You may even catch a glimpse of some wild horses, cows, bulls, birds, hawks, jackrabbits, and roadrunners! Nearby attractions include Keeylocko Cowtown (self proclaimed historic town just acres away with a old western vibe and bar), Kitt Peak Observatory, Saguaro National Park, Old Tucson, and Downtown Tucson. If you are new to camping, we can also help provide you with some of the necessities you may have forgotten for a small additional fee (chairs, water, tents, blankets etc). We encourage you to ditch your phone and enjoy nature while you are here. You wont want to miss these views!

Camp among the cacti at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. From your RV or tent camping site, hike and bike 40 miles of trails. Near Mesa, Usery Mountain Regional Park has 73 sites and a dump station. Nearby, fly model airplanes and ride horses in the hills. For cooler temperatures, RVers and tent campers can head into the Tonto National Forest. Tortilla Campground is popular with rock climbers, boaters, and anglers. From Burnt Corral, you can fish and swim in Apache Lake. Most Forest Service campgrounds have picnic tables and fire rings. About 35 miles from town, find year-round camping at Lost Dutchman State Park. Here, tent and RV camping sites sit next to massive red-rock cliffs. In the spring, you can hike or bike past fields of desert wildflowers.
