You can see every star out here and enjoy the escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. With wide open spaces you have so much room to play. The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

Great location near the Grand Canyon! Just an open piece of land for boondocking - there may be other campers present during your stay. The stars and night sky out here are amazing and completely worth the trip. **Please use the coordinates. The property is 40 minutes north of Williams. If your GPS takes you into Williams that is the wrong location. IMPORTANT NOTE: The last one mile to the location is a bumpy dirt road. Imagine the worst road you’ve been on - this is slightly better and if this is the worst you’ve been on .. well then live a little. In the past, some people complained about the dirt road not being in good shape due to rains. Please know that we are not responsible for or even aware of the road conditions to the property. Unfortunately, the county has done no maintenance since the early 1990s and has no plans to. The quotes we have received to fix just the worst parts have been between $35,000 and $50,000. Lastly, check the signs on the way in the area about fire danger and whether you are able to have a campfire or not. If you are allowed, please make sure to fully extinguish it. We are working on bringing services and upgrades to the property. All money being earned will go towards this effort.

There are two sites with fire pits and campfires are allowed but may be restricted during certain times when warm temperatures and high winds are forecasted. Please bring a shovel to clear the fire pit out if there is sand or leftover wood in it. Other things to note: From Highway 64, travel 0.85 miles east on Pine Rd to reach the property. The dirt road has some bumps but is accessible with a 2WD car when the road is dry but 4WD is recommended when there is snow or rain. Also, since you will be traveling on an unmarked dirt road, it is advised to reach the campsite before dark so it easier to locate. There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. Pack in and pack out policy applies. Weekend Trip to Peaceful Experience Ranch 🌄😍

This is the place to be for Big Dark Skies. Horizon to horizon views, no neighbors, and no big cities nearby. As the listings say, also no amenities, and the dirt road is rutted (but not very long). It is very pleasant if you come prepared. I got some great milkyway photos with a DSLR and deep space photos through a telescope. There is just a hint of sky glow from Valle and from Flagstaff but it is very localized on the horizon.

I couldn't believe how many stars were out at night and I was also shocked by how beautiful the sunrise was in the morning. Jessica was very responsive and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend.

I loved the quiet solitude of Clove and Keith's land. The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. There is so much to say and enjoy about their land. I saw wild horses running across the plains. The landscape and peace that I encountered was worth the drive. I would defiantly go back and looking forward to it!!

We absolutely loved this campsite it was extremely private and remote. If you are not looking for a 1 hour off of the highway dirt road trek in just be aware. BUT if you are looking for 40 acres of expansive desert to explore nearly all to yourself this is the place for you ! Clove and Keith just bought this property and did a great job welcoming us and making sure we got settled okay. Overall we had a quick but great stop here feels like youre on mars.

Outstanding stay!!! A couple important notes. First, Google maps was on point, Apple Maps didn’t understand the assignment. Second, you must arrive before dark because of the landscape. That said, Clove and Keith went above and beyond to help me arrive and get settled. Perfect for stargazing and hiking while enjoying the rock formations. If I wander back this way I’ll definitely stay here again.

We loved camping on Luis's land. The view was perfect and Luis was very communicative and made sure we got to our spot. The GPS worked for us and we enjoyed our experience. The views alone went above our expectations as the pictures do not do this site justice!!

Luis's spot was a beautiful stop on the start of a long week of national park visiting! The field was clear and level. It was a little challenging to navigate to the site itself, as we arrived around 10 pm and it was quite dark, but both Apple and Google Maps brought us to the right spot. Would recommend a vehicle with decent ground clearance to get to the site - my 4Runner did great. Overall, would definitely book again! Thanks!

With no road noise and no artificial lights other than a couple on the property this is a great location to view the stars and enjoy the quiet of Northern Arizona. Plenty of room to walk about and enjoy yourself with no distractions.

Weekend Trip to Grand Canyon Basecamp

Very quiet. Scenery is beautiful. Sunsets are spectacular. My GPS took me to the exact location. It was a clear lot, with plenty of space for my 3 kids and a 9 person tent. If y are looking for solitude but not far from a town or other people, this is the place. Would definitely book again.

It was great, but the wind was terrible, they were great host, privacy was great, next time bringing my motorhome it was a little tough in a tent, beautiful views, overall it was really good, will do it again, it is a7 mile dirt road. But it's no bad, I will be back, saw some wild horses which was cool, rented a bike went for a ride, that was fun, the bathroom was clean, what more can I say

Some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen! It’s like being on another planet, nothing live I’ve ever seen before. I highly recommend not just doing the rim trail, but exploring down into the canyon. Bright Angel trail was my favorite.
