Welcome to your peaceful, desert getaway. This little Retro Camper is only about 35 minutes from the Strip. The property is home to Joshua trees, desert mountain views, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best star gazing around.
The camper comes with a full kitchen, a refrigerator, microwave, and gas stove. Dishes and utensils are provided as well as bedding and towels. The bed is about a full size bed, maybe a bit smaller, cozy for two people to sleep in. The camper comes with two space heaters and extra blankets for the winter, an overhead air conditioning unit for the summer. The shower has cold water only and is an outdoor shower.

Hidden away within the mountains, there’s so much to see and do.
Hike through the mountains and even down to Colorado River. Rent kayaks at the property to drive them down, a 7 min drive off the property. Book an off road tour around the mountains and down to the river. Check out the world famous ghost town a few minutes away and even goon an underground mine tour.
It’s pure bliss and joy. A reset, a rest.
Available as a single person camping, all the way up to weekend retreats for the entire family.
This property is secluded and in a remote area with limited cell service. AT&T and Verizon have limited service, other carriers do not. This property is accessible by off road vehicle only, otherwise you may park your car in parking which is 4-7 minutes away from your tent by our shuttle. Off road vehicle means a 4x4 to drive over a rocky trail.
To access your tent, you will be required to schedule the shuttle for check in. A host will drive out to meet you to take you to your tent. Must be scheduled in advance. Check in is between 3pm and 9pm only. The host does not live on property and travels for your scheduled check in time.

Purchased this land for my father who loved living on his own in stark conditions. The property literally came with a shack on it. He loved shifting for gold with one of the neighbors in the desert up the road. He has since passed and the shack was torn down due to normal wear making it unstable.Me and my wife plan to put a home on it in the future, but felt it would be nice to allow adventurous types to stay on the property for the cheap.Learn more about this land:(Directions at bottom of description)The property is up on a hill surrounded on 2 sides (W/N) by BLM land with an overlook of Lake Mead. Just 10 miles from lake access (downhill) inside Lake Mead recreational area. Also, about 9 miles from Grand Canyon West access point. The property once had a shack on it, which is now gone - some remnants remain. But, there are flat drive areas in which to park (RV ok) and/or tent camp. Property is a little rough, but the views are gorgeous! From the property you can see Lake Mead, the west wall of the Grand Canyon, and an overlook of the town of Meadview. There are other residents in the area, but are far away, but visible (it is a desert). But, the property is absolutely quiet and peaceful.There is no electric, water, or facilities - so, it is primitive (or self-contained) camping. There is a fire-ring, but you must bring your own wood. There is some limited shopping and restaurants in town (Meadview or Dolan Springs) and on the main road (Pierce Ferry). We plan to build on the property in the future, but wish to share it with others until then. Property is easiest to find during daylight hours and highly recommend a vehicle with high clearance and 4WD as the road is very rough. jagged rocks and loose sandy sections.
Please pack out all your garbage!! Lets be respectful campers and leave the sites looking their best for the next campers!
WILD ANIMALS:
- cattle, burros, coyotes are the main wildlife out here and you very well may hear them / see them at night. Don't leave your food out!
IMPORTANT WARNING:
- There can be rattlesnakes in the desert so please be careful and bring an anti-venom epi-pen if you can afford one in case you get bit by a rattlesnake. Be very cautious when lifting or moving anything, as there may be a rattlesnake hiding underneath. The Kingman Hospital is a 15 minute drive from the property.
- some of the neighbors are not very friendly because they want to be left alone. They like their privacy! so please be respectful of them, keep your distance and enjoy the wild wide open!

This is my personal property located about 50 minutes between Las Vegas and Kingman, Arizona. You can visit the West Rim of the Grand Canyon for the day, head to the lake communities of Arizona within an hour, or simply relax on this rural, quiet, fenced property.
If you have off-road vehicles, such as RZRs, you can bring them and ride the nearby trails around White Hills.
There is one RV site with electricity, or guests can boondock. A washer/dryer and a dog-wash station are available in the shed. I am also in the process of renovating one of the shipping containers on the property into a gym.
If you want to get away for a few days or a week to enjoy the outdoors while still having modern conveniences, this is a great place. Guests must be self-contained, as there are no bathroom facilities.

Vanlifers are welcome, though we are not yet set up for rigs over 20 feet in length. Guests have access to a communal area featuring a fire pit, composting toilet, water, dog pen, and a charcoal BBQ, along with acres of untouched land to explore or enjoy a picnic.
The property features resident chickens—which means fresh eggs—a handmade outdoor stone shower, and more stars than you can count, with the Milky Way passing directly over the site. We even have a baby horse on the property. It is peaceful and happy here.
Beautiful and scenic hiking trails are located within 10 miles. You may spot wild donkeys nearby, and there is a town just 40 minutes away where you can pet and feed them, alongside an old mining ghost town to explore.
In town, you will find delicious Mexican restaurants, coffee shops, Sonic, Subway, a laundromat, and gas stations that sell the most delicious homemade cookies you have ever had.
There is plenty to see and do, or you can simply relax by a bonfire at one of the multiple fire pits available on-site.

Such a cute setup and perfectly nestled for stunning views! The bed is big enough for two and we slept soundly. Honestly we came for Vegas but regret not spending all of our time at the camper. So many cute little quails and we even saw some nightjars/poorwills around 12-1am. I was itching to see the wild horses and our host was quick to answer our questions about directions. Thanks to them, we were able to see them right at dusk along with a colony of bats that skimmed the water for a quick drink in the desert.

This place is close to the Grand Canyon. We arrived super early and way past check in. We found a spot and parked. Ms Lori was so accommodating.
Had to book a second night and she was even more accommodating. We will definitely book again and recommend their place. Also a lot of geochaches around the area that are fun to do

Evelina’s property was wonderful! We were looking for something unique and we found it! The desert scenery was beautiful and we really enjoyed seeing some of the wildlife while we were hiking. The bed was comfortable and the little finishing touches in the tent made it feel very quaint. We really enjoyed how truly secluded you are out on her property. We were close enough to explore Boulder City and get a little break from the record temps. Highly recommend the UTV tour she offers. It’s a fantastic way to see the Colorado river. Would love to return someday with friends!

What a gem of a stop on old Route 66. We were greeted warmly by Shannon who showed us around and helped us find the right spot for us. She was very responsive to any of our questions. It was so fun to walk around the grounds and learn the history. The sunset was spectacular and the night sky filled with stars. It was so quiet at night, yes the occassional train but it felt far enough away to just be charming and it definitely did not wake us up.
