Possibly see deer fox turtles hawks bald eagles and many more wildlife.

We recommend foot wear in the lake as there are plenty of clam shells
Both sites are still fairly new so there are roots sticks and tripping hazards please use caution when walking around sites and when choosing a place for your tents.
Camp site #1 has its own private beach is set back in the woods a bit further. Still driving right to site just a little further down a hill 4 wheel drive recommended especially if pulling a trailer. This site is a bit larger and recommended for larger groups. Trailers will need levelling.
Camp site #2 also has a private beach but is shared with us (we rarely use it so it’ll be mostly yours) this sit is set higher up in the field and has more of a walk to the beach but only minutes. This site is smaller and best suited for smaller groups. but can expand into the field if necessary. Trailers will need levelling.
We have provided a 5 gallon bucket in each site as a fire out bucket. we ask that all campers please put their fires out before leaving your site. thank you. buckets are located under the picnic tables.

We really enjoyed our weekend. Having our own private beach was a plus for the grandkids. They spent most of their time there. Only down fall is there isn’t enough flat spots for your tent (Site1) only a spot for one tent and it was still on a slant. We also had a truck tent and it was hard to find level ground for it. We managed but we have air ride in the truck so it helped in levelling itself as best it could. Very quite and secluded just what we wanted. Firewood (we paid for) was wet and punky. All in all we had a great time site had a beautiful view. Lisa is very friendly and accommodating. We would go back.
Excellent place to camp especially on a hot summer day. Lake is shallow water and you can be in the water for long hours. A mesmerizing view of starts at night and no disturbance from anyone. Lisa is a great host.
Great camping spot, Lisa stopped by after we had settled in to check everything was good and it was! The private beach was beautiful and the mussels weren't too much of a problem, we barely wore our water shoes. There is a lot of seaweed at the water edge but totally gone as you get a little further out to the water. The only thing I would like to let future bookers know is that there isn't a lot of level ground if you're camping without drive in campers. We had three 2 people tents and had to split up to find flat ground at camp site one. It sleeps 16 there but I think it would be difficult to find enough flat ground for that many people there. Overall awesome spot, great hosts and would definitely go back.

It was a beautiful spot, nice and quiet, nice scenery, and our host was very accommodating. We even had farm fresh eggs. We highly recommend Unplug and unwind. We will visit again thank you Lisa!
We stayed at site #2 with our vintage camper. Absolutely gorgeous view of the fields. Stunning!! Right next to the lake with the beach a short walk away! We want to stay here again. Lisa is attentive and a treat to deal with. How handy having both wood and eggs delivered directly to your site. Will not disappoint.
My first hipcamp experience spoiled me! Lisa was lightning fast with communication and extremely accommodating. Site 1 was everything I could hope for with a beautiful private beach that was the perfect place for a paddle. Being on the lake, the mosquitoes are quite bad at night so come prepared, and bring solid footwear since there are some pokey roots around the site.
