There is no direct access to the lake, but there are many lakes and beaches within a short drive. There are also many quaint towns to visit, beautiful hiking trails to explore all nearby. The main floor has a pull-out double bed, and the loft has 2 sets of bunk beds, ideal for kids. The bathroom facility is a newly built very airy eco-outhouse - you will be pleasantly surprised! There is a sink to wash up, and an outdoor shower, but for now, only cold water is available. This an ideal family getaway or a romantic getaway, I look forward to hosting you!

Our Guest House is equipped with everything from a coffee pot and fiber-optic internet down to the wood for your private fire pit. We welcome well-behaved 4 legged guests. Your dog will love playing with our two Aussie's and hiking the many pet friendly trails in the Huntsville area. Please leash them when they first arrive for the protection of our farm animals. Once we see their reaction to the animals, in all likelihood, we can dispense with the leash. Over the past 2 years we have developed a Hobby Farm consisting of 5 Nigerian Dwarf Goats, 15 Exotic Hens, 2 Australian Shepherd dogs and 3 cats. We are just minutes from 3 local beaches, Arrowhead Provincial Park, Limberlost Forest Reserve (fabulous hiking) and Algonquin Park. Eateries and shopping are also 5 minutes from us.
