Off-Grid Forest Retreat on 100 Acres Trails, Wetlands, Crown Land & Total Quiet | Muskoka Unplug and slow down at this private, off-grid retreat in Muskoka, set on 100 acres of mixed forest and wetlands, with an additional 200 acres of Crown land directly behind the property. This is a place for wandering, mushroom hunting, and getting a little lost (on purpose). Bring a compass or GPS and enjoy the freedom to explore. The land features established trails weaving through forest and wetland areas, with abundant wildlife and seasonal foraging opportunities. It’s exceptionally quiet and peaceful—no neighbors, no road noise, and no artificial light at night. Expect stars, birdsong, and deep calm. The cabin is solar-powered and designed for comfortable off-grid living. It sleeps up to six guests and includes an incinerator toilet, a generator for backup power, and a wood stove for heat. Guests must be comfortable operating a wood stove safely, as this is the primary heat source during cooler months. Perfect for families, couples, or small groups who enjoy nature, self-sufficiency, and unplugging from screens.Cabin built in 1872, sleeps 6, in door incinerator toilet and shower.
