NORTHERN ESCAPE CAMPGROUND &amp; CABIN

This is a small, very quiet site. The owners are lovely and so helpful, even parked our travel trailer for us. Sadly we had car trouble and had to leave early with a tow truck, but will definitely go back. The on site shower and toilet was immaculate and clean and there’s a fire pit and wood to use as well. It’s also close to Mikisew Provincial Park and Eagle lake for khaki b etc.

I absolutely loved camping on this property! The hosts (Cindy and Her husband) where incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The property was calm, peaceful, clean and a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Had a clean washroom and shower. It’s also conveniently located not far from some beautiful lakes. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

Quiet, Clean & Peaceful

We needed a site and wow did this place deliver! The host on site was super nice; they even helped guide our trailer in. The bathroom on site was clean, and the water in the shower was very hot (my wife tells me this is a good thing.) At night it was quiet and peaceful, the perfect spot to relax and reflect on your day. And I mean it was quite, MUCH more so than your normal park; even though you're only a 5 minute drive from Eagle Lake & Mikisew Provincial Park. We had 50 amp service, water, sewer, a clean picnic table, an additional table, and they even provide the fire wood for you. The site was gravel and fit our 23' trailer nicely with only a little effort needed to level it. We cannot recommend this host enough, my wife and I hope to return with our family and make even more memories here in the future!

This Cabin is perfect for a nice nature getaway. I stayed there for 1 night, the place was very clean , The owners were extreamly nice, and answered all my questions, helped me make a fire . It's quiet and peaceful, loved the privacy. Will definately stay there again.

Worth every penny!!

Cindy’s land was private quaint and so beautiful!! It was nestled in the wilderness away from noise and light pollution, and the sky lit up at night time with millions of beautiful stars!! The host was awesome helping us set up even and letting us know about all the local festivities!! Everything we needed was just a quick drive away for fun or resources like our furnace breaking lol We can’t wait to go back again!!

We really enjoyed our two night stay in the Hairy Foxes site! Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful management. While we couldn't have a fire on our site, the communal firepit was just steps from our site. We enjoyed meeting the other campers and the manager kept it well stocked with nice dry hardwood. The bathroom was a work in progress but was immaculate with new fixtures and shower. The night sky was stunning. We will absolutely be back!

We had such a great time at this campsite. We would book back here in a heartbeat. It was exceptionally clean and the property is well cared for. We had a couple other friends at the neighboring sites and we all had a great time around the communal firepit. They provided the wood and a hose nearby to ensure that the fire was put out safely before we all went to bed. We are all planning another trip at the same time for next summer!

The Lone Ranger Cabin

I would recommend this cabin to anyone who loves being in the bush. It is very peaceful and relaxing. This cute little cabin is well equipped with everything you would need to be comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating in every aspect. There was no issues finding this campground. There is a beach just minutes down the road at Eagle Lake Narrows. I will camp here again. I would highly recommend this property even for tent camping.

Beautiful Little Forest Retreat!

We stayed in the Lazy Moose site which fit our 26’ trailer and pick up with ease. The 50 amp hook up is new and amazing, just know you need an adapter if you only have a 30 amp trailer like mine! (Something I will add to my RV toolbox for sure!) Hosts were wonderful, friendly, helpful with info about best sites for camping gear and extra helpful offering to help with spotting while manoeuvring in and out of sites and even hitching. Privacy is still great despite being a smaller area. Hosts have done a wonderful job maintaining that as well as continuously adding features like water, sewer and electrical hookups as well as really clean and accessible community bathroom complete with new shower and flush toilet. Highly recommend!!!
