NORTHERN ESCAPE CAMPGROUND Located in South River ontario. The Fun Ferret site is very large with lots of privacy. Enjoy the quiet area or join the other Campers at the main fire pit area. The Fun Ferret site has gravel for your trailer and grass for your picnic area. This site has water and 15 amp power. Dump station available at the Campground for a small fee. The Fun Ferret site can accommodate a trailer or rv under 37 ft. Play horseshoes, Darts , go on a atv tour, go swimming at the Beautiful Eagle Lake beach, or fish at deer Lake and eagle Lake , just 5 min drive away. Don't feel like cooking? You can order pizza and have it delivered or drive to the Narrows Storeto get fries, snacks etc. Go golf at the Eagle Lake Golf Course or horse backriding at the Coughlin Ranch . Camp with us at Northern Escape Campground !

Our Wolf Pack site is small for your tent or Tent trailer. It has a view of the main firepit area and next to the deck where you can hang out, cook on BBQ or just chill with other Campers. . No water on site but outdoor tap is near by . We have a septic dump station at the campground. Northern escape campground has now 4 sites available. This is a very quiet and peaceful Campground.

Put you Camper on the lazy Moose site and access the main fire pit in the center of all 3 sites. The Site has hook up for Hydro 15 Amp and 50 Amp, water, and Septic.. Toys for your kids are right beside the main eating area, You can use 1 of the BBQ on the deck You can have a picnic table put on your site if requested . For privacy, there's plenty of trees between the site .

There's plenty of Toys for your kids are right beside the main eating area. There's 1 picnic table on site. Have some privacy, plenty of trees between the sites. The main fire pit area is for everyone to use. Meet the other campers at the other sites. There's a washroom close by, shower available( working on getting hot water hook up soon) *Please note the grampground is under construction and will be in next couple years*

This 5 STAR REVIEW Cute and cozy cabin has all you need for your stay . Enjoy a game of horseshoes or outdoor darts., . This cabin has a huge fire pit area nearby. You can go golf at the Eagle Lake Golf Course, swim at the beach, or go horseback riding. Rent kayaks, canoes ,fishing boat, go for ice cream. Don't feel like cooking?order a pizza at the narrows store you can do all this just 5 min drive away. Bring your ATV , and you can ride on the road to the beach. This place has lots of privacy and it's very quiet and peaceful.

This Cabin is perfect for a nice nature getaway. I stayed there for 1 night, the place was very clean , The owners were extreamly nice, and answered all my questions, helped me make a fire . It's quiet and peaceful, loved the privacy. Will definately stay there again.

Cindy’s land was private quaint and so beautiful!! It was nestled in the wilderness away from noise and light pollution, and the sky lit up at night time with millions of beautiful stars!! The host was awesome helping us set up even and letting us know about all the local festivities!! Everything we needed was just a quick drive away for fun or resources like our furnace breaking lol We can’t wait to go back again!!

We really enjoyed our two night stay in the Hairy Foxes site! Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful management. While we couldn't have a fire on our site, the communal firepit was just steps from our site. We enjoyed meeting the other campers and the manager kept it well stocked with nice dry hardwood. The bathroom was a work in progress but was immaculate with new fixtures and shower. The night sky was stunning. We will absolutely be back!

The Hairy Foxes
We had such a great time at this campsite. We would book back here in a heartbeat. It was exceptionally clean and the property is well cared for. We had a couple other friends at the neighboring sites and we all had a great time around the communal firepit. They provided the wood and a hose nearby to ensure that the fire was put out safely before we all went to bed. We are all planning another trip at the same time for next summer!

The Lone Ranger Cabin
I would recommend this cabin to anyone who loves being in the bush. It is very peaceful and relaxing. This cute little cabin is well equipped with everything you would need to be comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating in every aspect. There was no issues finding this campground. There is a beach just minutes down the road at Eagle Lake Narrows. I will camp here again. I would highly recommend this property even for tent camping.

Beautiful Little Forest Retreat!

We stayed in the Lazy Moose site which fit our 26’ trailer and pick up with ease. The 50 amp hook up is new and amazing, just know you need an adapter if you only have a 30 amp trailer like mine! (Something I will add to my RV toolbox for sure!) Hosts were wonderful, friendly, helpful with info about best sites for camping gear and extra helpful offering to help with spotting while manoeuvring in and out of sites and even hitching. Privacy is still great despite being a smaller area. Hosts have done a wonderful job maintaining that as well as continuously adding features like water, sewer and electrical hookups as well as really clean and accessible community bathroom complete with new shower and flush toilet. Highly recommend!!!

Very nice set up for RV with all services, closed to beautiful lake Eagle, nice beach and excellent fishing lake for bass. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very private. We will comeback. Thanks for sharing your paradise

The cabin we stayed at was cozy and homey! It had everything we needed (and everything we didn’t know we wanted) and the owner was incredibly kind and willing to help. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
