We had a great time! We stayed with our two cats in Beavers Bend. That camp site is perfect for pets because they have a huge space to be off leash. However be prepared for a million bugs. The beach area was beautiful and the water was perfect. We will definitely be back! Jenna and Brandon

I’m truly glad I discovered this place. My friends and I found so much more than we expected. The Mitziville team was incredibly welcoming and accommodating — thanks to them, I was able to organize a surprise birthday celebration for my husband and bring together our big group of friends. We were absolutely thrilled with our spot: a spacious area with several fire pits, a provided toilet, and picnic tables. It felt private and peaceful since the nearby sites were set far apart. It’s one of those rare moments when you stumble upon a hidden gem. The nature was stunning, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. We’ll definitely be back — our group has been looking for a place like this for a long time

Compared to most campground sites this is a nice private spot. The quiet river makes a beautiful view and I appreciated the free kayak available with the site. Check in was easy and friendly. There is a public area beside the site which meant there are occasionally people near by but it wasn’t a problem. At other times it was very quiet.

Beaver's Bend (old_1)
We loved camping at Mitziville'sland. It was our 2nd time this summer. The camp sites are big enough for 2,3 tents. Our kids love the beach and water activities. ( kayaks, paddle boats included) There is also nice trails for hiking. Shower on site. About 30 min away from Huntsville.. Definitely recommend and we'll be back.

The campsite is spacious, clean, and cozy.Perfect for families, groups, or anyone who just wants to relax by the lake. There are so many activities to enjoy and for sure you’ll never get bored. On top of that, the host is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Truly one of the best camping experiences ❤️ highly recommend!

Riverside
The camping was so food. Beautiful spot the riverside. We really enjoyed it, beautiful place, washrooms, beach, camp site all clean and really nice. Definitely will be back.

Sunset Beach Site 21
My family and I loved camping at Mitziville by the Lake. We loved it so much that we went twice this summer because we enjoyed it so much. The beach is walking distance to the camp site and the water was very warm both times we went! The campground is very taken care of and the service for garbage pick up was great. The beach is also very clean, lots of seats and canopy's free to use and not to mention the canoe/kayaks are all free to use! Everyone is very courteous with these as well. One down fall I will mention is that there are "no rules" here so if you are going with small children expect there to be noise. Both times we went there were large parties going on with very loud music until about 4 am. My kids were fine with it but some may not, so be cautious when booking. This is not a very private campground as the sites are cramped together and not very large but we have no issues with that. I would suggest if you are looking for a more private and quiet camping experience to look elsewhere or to check out their other sites that they offer which are look very private. 10/10 recommend, my family and I will be back next year and can't wait! We already know exactly which site we will be booking!!!

The place is very nice! Maybe they should pay a little more attention to the bathrooms (quite dirty). And pipe with water it’s really needed!!

Hill Side 1
This was a great weekend trip. There were plenty of watercraft, chairs and floaties at the beach for everyone to share. The beach is groomed with sand. The water drops off quick so bring kid lifejackets or pool noodles. There’s a new bathroom in the centre of the park but also plenty of port-a-potties scattered around the park. Hillside is private. There aren’t any picnic tables so bring chairs but there are tabletops. There is drinking water. The staff is very friendly and the park is very accommodating. This park has a campsite that suites everyone’s wishes - just ask. Park pictures and website are very accurate at the time of booking.

Camping at the beach has wonderful views. Paddle boats and kayaks for rent. Great spot for those with kids. Will certainly come back again.

Riverside
Had a nice stay with my boys at Mitziville. Host Jason was great setting us up on the riverside site, even hooked us up with two complementary kayaks at our site. Beach was was beautiful. Washrooms were new and clean. Looking forward to coming back.

AMAZING! What an unbelievably beautiful camp ground. Everything from the river to the forest and the beach are absolutely perfect, well maintained and clean . The staff was friendly and so were all the guests. I highly recommend a visit, I will be returning with my family. 10/10

Sunset Beach Site 11
Me and my wife enjoyed our stay at the sunset 11 site, view of the lake and beach was awesome, we enjoyed our stay, only bothered us noise form neighbour sites, neighbours were playing music late night and partying at midnight. We could not sleep properly. Otherwise place is very nice.

This campsite has access to the lake, showers, and bathrooms nearby. They provide canoes and kayaks as well which was a bonus. Great for families and campers who want everything close by Unfortunately we booked a campsite that specified there would be a picnic table, but when we arrived, there wasn't a picnic table at the campsite. If you're going on a busy weekend be sure to arrive early if you want a picnic table and good campsite.
