This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community.
It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night.
The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead.
There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company.
Here is what the land offers:
-Bunkie in the Forest: A sweet 8x8 ft. space with new bunk and mattresses as of April 2023
-Strawberry Fields bunkie: an 10x12 space with a loft with a queen memory foam mattress and a main floor with a full futon and a small table
-Campsites: Meadow, Forest and River spots. Close to each other, but you'd never know it! All three are chill and serene places. The property backs onto a ten-foot swimming hole in an otherwise shallow part of the Saugeen River.
-RV Spot: With electric hook up ideal for RVs 30 feet and under
-a connection to the organization, 'Black Folks Camp Too'! Welcoming to all!!!!!

We share our backyard with our guests, we are very close to everything that Bruce county has to offer, port Elgin, Southampton, golf courses, different accesses to saugeen river where u can go fishing canoeing, tubing etc., supermarkets, native reserve, sauble beach and dozens of other ones…all at max 15 minutes distance… in the property you will find everything u need for a peaceful stay, hard to describe everything you will find but u can read our reviews, some of them have beautiful descriptions of what is here for you, you must love animals, since we have our pets all around, u are also super welcome to bring yours. One of the high points of here is the interaction u will have with the pets, they are all super friendly and will play with u every time they see u, they believe u r here for them, between, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc they will be part of your stay, this is theyr home, u r theyr guests, that’s how they think, so u must be a pet lover. For the canine: please bring your bedding, there’s a few pillows and bed covers but bring your personal bedding, queen size…Looking forward to meet you.

Yurta Stay: the 4 seasons Yurta sits in the middle of our property atop a very private elevated area. Listen to subtle sounds permeate the yurt while enjoying the comfort of an insulated wood stove heated space year round! To increase the full effect of this experience, the Yurta is accessible on foot (300m walk from the car parking). A trolley is provided to transport your personal belongings.
Our Yurta provides a 226 square foot 4 season space. It has an operable dome and 3 large windows. It is insulated with 100% wool felt and is outfitted with a wood stove. It has no vinyl nor any toxic materials.
The Yurta space includes:
- 2 custom raised beds with mattresses. These could fit 2-4 people. An extra cot is available if needed.
- a wood stove
- an outdoor fire pit
- firewood for purchase ($8 / bundle)
- table and some chairs
- an outdoor dry toilet on a platform, toilet paper, water for washing hands
- drinking water, flush toilet, and shower accessible at the main house
- parking is by the main house which is a 300m walk to the Yurta
Please bring with you:
- pillows, beddings, or sleeping bags.
- flashlight(s)
- water bottles
- food + cooler + ice (there is no refrigeration)
- pots, pans, dishes, utensils
- a camp stove if you wish to cook on something other than an open fire (no camp stoves inside the Yurta please)

The place is very private and inside the forest which we love. Bruce, our fur baby loved it. We hiked the Cascade Trail and its was fun, very well marked. Victor is very friendly and accommodating. He gave us a tour of the property (Sumac Centre) and the campsite plus an orientation on the trails map. The toilet and shower facilities are very much appreciated. The campsite has basic stuffs needed as advertised. The gazebo entrance zipper was broken so make sure to bring mosquito repellent (we had thermacell). The Little Beaver Lake is small but very calm and private. We did some fishing but only caught small ones. I recommend Victor's place to anyone who wants a break from the city!

Great experience truck camping here. From coffee in the morning sitting alongside the small river to days spent at the beach, or walking the boardwalk and close by hiking trails and evenings around the campfire, a truly wonderful time was had. Super clean facilities and best of all the owners Deanne and Wayne felt like friends you had known for life.
You can't go wrong staying here!

Campsite 95 was awesome! We had plenty of privacy and shade. The bathrooms were only 2-3 minutes away, and the beach was just 5 minutes. The host was super friendly and helpful. They kept the washrooms really clean. The only thing is that the campsite isn't super flat, but you can definitely make it work.

We loved our time at Tiny Village Woodlands campground! Monica was an incredibly kind host and a huge help when I ended up needing to check in late. The Bunkee was fabulous. No exaggeration, it is right on the river. It has everything you could need and is the perfect size for 2. The covered porch was a large size and a lovely place to relax. The campground is very well taken care of. The bathrooms and showers are pretty luxurious for a campground. A restaurant and store on site is a great convenience. We had the bonus of an antique car show roll by the bunkee - our own private parade. The hosts were always available and friendly.

2 nights at Pine the Sky
The bunkie was perfect for 2 adults and a cat! The beds are very comfortable.
Joan is a very friendly and helpful host, definitely recommend a visit!
There's a small town nearby with an awesome coffee shop (Valley espresso), and other stores if you need a last minute supply run.
Hope to return again someday!

I loved the fact that it was private. A good base camp for Adventure Riders to set up camp, and ride. Very friendly hosts, easy accessible to tap water. Also relaxing to just enjoy the sounds of nature while making dinner over an open camp fire.

Joan was a great host, and the site was cute and well set up! Felt like we were in our own personal forest while also having everything that we needed nearby. Loved that there was a phone charging port, and the “Camp Cupboard” had some games, floaties, and cooking supplies. There were also some kayaks and canoes available! Would come back again.

We had an amazing weekend staying at the Strawberry Fields bunkie. Even though it rained the whole day, our host was so helpful and awesome. She even let us borrow her huge tarp, which made a total difference and let us spend the day relaxing among the pines with a cozy campfire.
We also went on nice hikes to nearby Hogg's Falls and McGowan Falls. Even though we didn't end up using the river much, the wonderful family bonding time made this a truly five-star experience. Highly recommended!

Joan was an absolutely wonderful host, so warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. She went well above and beyond what you’d expect from a host, from lending us spray for our dog to sharing great local recommendations. She truly made us feel like family!
The property is beautiful, and we would have loved to explore more of it and spend some time by the river. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes were **HORRIBLE** while we were there! 😂 But that’s nature and definitely not a reflection of the property or Joan.
We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back in the future! We would happily recommend Joan and her beautiful property to other Hipcampers!

We can’t say enough good things about our experience in Port Dover at Beth’s. Such a thoughtful host. So well taken care of, literally everything we needed to make our stay easy. Very clean, loved the hot tub (which was so hot! and relaxing!)
Very private too with such a nice back yard and fire pit!
Truly a fantastic place to visit!

4 nights at Fulford's Cottages And Camping
My partner and I loved our stay at Killdear. Deanne and Wayne were so warm, welcoming and generous! The bunkie had a comfy bed and all the essentials, plus a nice porch to spend the morning right beside the Mindemoya River. This location also cannot be beat for access to Providence Bay beach, the boardwalk is literally across the street! We will definitely stay here again <3

This site should absolutely be on everyone’s list. The site is on a beautiful property with well maintained facilities. You camp so close to the water that the sound of the waves puts you to sleep. The covered gazebo is a great addition. Host is welcoming and responsive. Truly a hidden gem.

The 3 of us had an amazing time and my dog Ozzy had the best time ever. Joan was so kind and welcoming, when we got there she showed us around including the wonderful shower, bathroom, camp cupboard and the clean water.
The view from our riverside campsite was fantastic, with canoes and kayaks available. Be careful when going into and coming out of the water or else you might slip in like I did! 🤣
Even though it rained for most of our trip I would say this was by far my favourite car camping trip I’ve gone on!
