Our stay at Beth’s Boho Bungalow in Port Dover was an absolute blessing and a gift. It was magical beyond words, and it was exactly the peaceful, healing escape that my wife needed.
The property itself is a perfect paradise. We spent our time relaxing in the amazing hot tub, sitting by the cozy fire pit, and walking down to her beautiful, serene ravine. At night, the sky opened up to the most incredible view of the stars. Sitting outside, listening to the wind blowing through the trees and all the beautiful noises of nature, was deeply therapeutic. On top of the beautiful privacy, the location is perfect—it is a scenic, easy walk straight to the Port Dover pier, the beach, and all the local amenities.
I am a firm believer that angels walk this earth, and Beth is wholeheartedly one of them. She is genuinely one of the kindest, most gentle human beings we have ever dealt with. To make things even better, Beth's neighbor, Kat, and her husband were also just amazing, beautiful human beings. It was truly an absolute pleasure to meet them as well.
Even though we are local to the area, this felt like a completely different world. We had such a wonderful experience that we will definitely be going back. If you are looking for a deeply romantic and relaxing getaway hosted by extraordinary souls, please book this beautiful spot!

Amazing dog friendly spot!

Beth's spot in Port Dover is perfect. The backyard is private and cozy. My friend and I had the best time with our three pups enjoying the hot tub, having fires and grilling our food. Water in the shower was hot and had great pressure. Bed was comfy. Beth added lots of small touches like a note for us about the space, k cups for coffee and towels.
We made some day trips to Burning Kiln and Fisky Beaver wineries and Charlottesville brewing (all dog friendly), and enjoyed a stroll through Port Dover. Highly recommend for what feels like a very elevated camping experience!

Amazing stay :)

I stayed two nights at Beth's cabin behind her house and enjoyed my time there so much. Beth has a special way of making the space feel like it has been dusted with a bit of magic. I loved the hanging chair, guitar that was there to play, space to do yoga and the hot tub for stargazing at night. There was a great juice bar in town and the beach was really close. I had rain one afternoon and did some writing and artwork at the outside table. It was perfect. I would love to book there again in the future. Thank you Beth, you were the perfect host.

We can’t say enough good things about our experience in Port Dover at Beth’s. Such a thoughtful host. So well taken care of, literally everything we needed to make our stay easy. Very clean, loved the hot tub (which was so hot! and relaxing!)
Very private too with such a nice back yard and fire pit!
Truly a fantastic place to visit!

Boho Bungalow
We loved Beth's little bungalow! It was very cosy and private and very romantic. The hot tub was great and inside the macramé roped swing was quaint and so cute. We had an amazing time would go back again for sure.

The perfect R&R weekend

We had a wonderful time staying at Beth’s little oasis! We booked this trip last minute as my husband and I needed a little R&R and this place did not disappoint!
The hottub was so cozy for the two of us, we had a table top little fire going and it was very quiet and peaceful. You have total privacy on the patio, especially at nighttime! You do not feel like you are close to the house or in a shared space at all.
Our dog loved the space also as the area is fenced in, she enjoyed lounging in the snow lol!
The composting toilet was totally fine and easy to use and navigate. We visited in the winter so no running water for the sink or shower, but Beth left us water for washing and that did the trick! We also brought some jugs of water ourselves and we basically winter camped with a cozy bed!
We walked the pier and visited the shops along the strip which was super cute, before heading to Lynn valley trail to explore:)
We played games and ordered pizza and had a great adventure:) We also used the BBQ for a delicious steak dinner the one night.

Well decorated and comfortable space. All the furniture is layed out nicely. The hot tub and deck were great. I liked the small tabletop wood stove. The cabin was closer to the house than I expected but still private.

A Lovely Weekend Retreat
Beth’s place truly is the perfect serene getaway for anyone looking to escape the city. The peaceful setting made it easy to relax and unwind, and everything was just as we had hoped.
We really enjoyed our time there and would happily recommend this place to others looking for a quiet retreat.
Beth was an amazing host! As soon as she knew we were bringing our dog, she went the extra mile by setting out a cozy bed and a fresh bowl of water.

Staying in The Bungalow
Beth was the best host anyone could ask for! The bungalow was cut clean and comfortable We had amenities for tea coffee and she was even so kind that she shared some drinks with us because the liquor store was closed. She also provided us with a microwave that was not originally included and it did come in very handy. We felt like we bonded immediately. The hot tub was a delight and heated porch area. Beth was kind enough to allow us to use her bathroom for a shower and it was not ackward at all. We had plenty of privacy. I would highly recommend staying her as it was not expensive at all.

Very laid-back host. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy.. Port Dover also had a lot to offer, even though it was a little chilly. It was still really beautiful to walk around, and there were still lots of restaurants and cute little stores to investigate. The sunset at Lake Erie. was beautiful and everyone was very friendly.

The best place to disconnect from the city and connect with nature. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the peace felt in Beth's house. She is a super host who helps you with whatever you need and is very attentive to us. She also has our dog.

I loved every minute of this stay it was so fresh and so clean the swing in the room was the centre piece such a nice addition to the space and the hot tub was exactly what we needed to relax on the stars ....only have such amazing things to say about this booking ✨️ we will be back again trust me I encourage anyone that needs time aways to Check this booking out you will not be disappointed that's for sure
