Enjoy an elevated glamping experience! The Black Swan Bungalow is a private, cozy cottage/bunkie beside the main house on my beautiful treed property in Port Dover. Just a 15-minute walk to restaurants, shopping, theatre, and the beach—you’ll be close enough to enjoy the fun, yet far enough away to relax in peace and quiet. The bungalow features a queen-sized memory foam mattress, a seating area with a table and chairs, and its own covered deck. Outside, you’ll find a two-person hot tub overlooking the hill—a beautiful spot for stargazing! Plus a cute outdoor hot shower! (April through October) The bathroom includes a Think Tank compost toilet and a sink with cold running water (April through October). For your comfort, the space has both heating and air conditioning. On nice evenings, you can enjoy a fire in the fire pit or head down to a private deck at the bottom of the hill. Check-in is easy with a coded door lock. I live in the main house with my two cats, and while I’ll give you complete privacy, I’m always available to answer questions or share local recommendations. Extras & Amenities: Two bikes with helmets for exploring downtown or the nearby Lynn Valley Trail Ample free parking in the driveway Fridge, microwave and BBQ (no cooking facilities inside) Keurig pods, cream, and sugar provided for your morning coffee Important Notes: Bathroom consists of a Think Tank compost toilet and cold running water provided for washing only (April through October). Drinking water is provided (Brita filtered). There is a hot outdoor shower from April through October. In the off season, showering in the main house is available. Well-behaved pets are welcome, but must be kept on a leash or tethered in the backyard (due to wildlife and my two cats). Pets cannot be left unattended. House Rules: No unregistered guests without prior approval. No parties. No smoking, vaping, candles, or open flames indoors. Please put out your campfire with the bucket of water provided. Quiet time is 10 PM (out of respect for neighbours). Please clean up after your pet.Our bungalow is a small accessory dwelling, around 300sq feet. Our bungalow is a small accessory dwelling, around 300sq feet. It is located on our property in Port Dover, next to the main house where I live. You'll be provided with a code for the lock and you can check yourself in. There will be info and brochures for things to do during your stay. The Norfolk county area is rich with cultural and outdoor activities. Lots of biking and hiking trails, breweries, wineries, downtown Port Dover and of course the nearby beach!

Staying in The Bungalow

Boho Bungalow in Port Dover

Beth was the best host anyone could ask for! The bungalow was cut clean and comfortable We had amenities for tea coffee and she was even so kind that she shared some drinks with us because the liquor store was closed. She also provided us with a microwave that was not originally included and it did come in very handy. We felt like we bonded immediately. The hot tub was a delight and heated porch area. Beth was kind enough to allow us to use her bathroom for a shower and it was not ackward at all. We had plenty of privacy. I would highly recommend staying her as it was not expensive at all.

Boho Bungalow in Port Dover

Very laid-back host. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy.. Port Dover also had a lot to offer, even though it was a little chilly. It was still really beautiful to walk around, and there were still lots of restaurants and cute little stores to investigate. The sunset at Lake Erie. was beautiful and everyone was very friendly.

The best place to disconnect from the city and connect with nature. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the peace felt in Beth's house. She is a super host who helps you with whatever you need and is very attentive to us. She also has our dog.

I loved every minute of this stay it was so fresh and so clean the swing in the room was the centre piece such a nice addition to the space and the hot tub was exactly what we needed to relax on the stars ....only have such amazing things to say about this booking ✨️ we will be back again trust me I encourage anyone that needs time aways to Check this booking out you will not be disappointed that's for sure ....thanks again for being such an amazing Host during the whole process ....GodBless
