Beautiful, Peaceful Site
What at a beautiful and peaceful location!
This site is exactly as it appears in the photos. Everything is well maintained and the decorations/design makes this site really stand out. It is very private, surrounded by forest, with sunlight right on the site in the daytime and a clear view of the stars at night.
The tent was clean and cozy; it was -2 degrees at night but with the propane heater on for a couple of hours before bed we stayed toasty all night! Just make sure you bring or rent some small propane tanks (16oz) for the heater.
The kitchen facility is so well stocked with everything you need, and the bathroom and shower seem so luxurious for a camping site! The hot water shower especially was a real treat.
The town and Provincial park are very close by (10-20 min drive) and there are great options if you want to buy dinner in town.
The thoughtful layout of this site, with good lighting and all the supplies, really Makes the stay so easy and relaxing. One note is that there are small steps into the tent and bathroom areas, for folks with mobility considerations. These steps are visible in the photos, though.
Sibo and Gee were so helpful and friendly and responded to any questions right away. And, as a queer couple we felt welcomed by Sibo and Gee, which was so appreciated.
We will definitely be returning to this site with our family in the future.

Perfect glmping getaway
A gorgeous spot with great amenities, peacefully quiet but still close to Verona for supplies, restaurants, etc., and lots of nearby hiking trails (Frontenac Park) nearby. Check-in and -out was quick and easy. Would definitely love to come back next summer and fall. Would highly recommend.

Our glamping experience at Sibo's and Gee's home was wonderful. Located in the back woods was very quiet and private. Accommodations were most comfortable and the nature view was beautiful. Gee always checking in to see if we needed. He was very hospitable. We look forward to visiting again.

This campsite was everything we could've dreamed of! I think it had a nicer bathroom than I even have at home 😂 The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the hammocks were such a nice addition. Highly recommend this beautiful campsite. Visit as soon as you can!
Oh! We were also able to bring our dogs and they had an absolute blast. Camping is always more fun with dogs 💖

I can't say enough good things about this place. Everything is so well thought out, we felt like we could relax the entire time we were there. The tent is amazing with the most comfortable beds, the game selection was great, and the fire pit was great too. Even though it is on Sibo and Gee's land, we felt so isolated and like we were in the woods all by ourselves. Such an amazing stay, I would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be coming again.

Camping with Luxury in Peace
Sibo’s glampimg site is very peaceful with all the luxuries to camping. It got cold at night and the propane heater was such a nice luxury camping item to have available in the tent to help us stay warm.
Everything is beautifully designed and well thought out with comfort in mind for guests:
*Compost toilet did not smell at all
*clean hot shower stall
*Gazebo kitchenette was surrounded by mosquito curtains so you can eat without worrying about too many bugs flying in
*campfire pit is well built and placed with a comfortable palette chaise
*2 hammocks to lounge in by the campfire
pit
*stringed lights by the bathroom and gazebo just added to the beauty of the site at night
*the lounge chairs recline all the way down so your neck and head doesn’t hurt while star gazing! Loved these!
There’s even a cute herb garden right by the tent. We really appreciated our time there. A beautiful glamping site!!!!

Sibo was an incredible host - extremely attentive, responsive, and thoughtful. The site has all of the amenities of a cottage, on a beautifully landscaped camp site. It felt very private like a home away from home, with so many comforts already provided. We would definitely recommend it!

Best Glamping Experience!!!
This was an amazing experience for my family. The place was gorgeous and had all the essentials to help make our stay a little easier and more fun! The hosts were so generous and even offered for us to go for a swim in their pool on the really hot days. Our dog loved it too, she listens well enough therefore didn't have to be on her leash much and the owners didn't mind. Cute little shops near by and places to eat if you want. A nice little beach and soccer field close, which we enjoyed both. My children loved the outdoor showers, they thought it was so cool! I would definitely recommend this as a little getaway, and you can't beat the price!

Exactly as advertised and reviewed! The site and amenities are fantastic. The site was very private and comfortable with plenty of space to explore. Everything needed was on site, we could have showed up with just food and clothes and been well taken care of. This was a huge hit for the entire family and everyone wants to do it again. So do I, as this was just so easy and convenient.

just what I needed....
All the reviews about this place are spot on. The site and amenities are so well thought out that all you really need to do is relax and unwind when you get here. It offers privacy and plenty of space to roam around. The beds are comfortable, warm shower is a huge bonus and win, kitchen has all you need. The hosts are so gracious and kind that it makes the stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was having to leave! This really is "glamping" at its best. its the perfect balance and I can't wait to book again!

This is a great way to camp in style. Very comfortable and clean. By far, the best sleeps I've ever had camping.
We had temperature swings throughout our stay. 9°C in the first night and 25°C on the last night. There were extra blankets for when it was colder, there was a heater also. We didn't need it. For the warmer nights, we opened up the screens in the tent. It allowed for a lovely cross breeze. The tent breathes very well.

A most pleasant stay
My partner has already left an extensive review but it does bear repeating that we had a pleasantly delightful stay at Sibo's place.
Everything was very well thought-out, from kitchen utensils, to even dog bed/toys. It was a very comfortable stay. Sibo and her family went far above and beyond to care for anyone who decides to use their space and we are very thankful. Communication was also very easy with Sibo.
No doubt we will be back here, and will be recommending this place to all of our family and friends.

What a luxurious stay
Glampers, we’d love to keep this review short and sweet but we can’t say enough good things about this space.
This space is especially great for first-time glampers, folks who only want to pack their clothes and food and nothing else, or even introducing a family member or friend to camping for the first time.
Sibo’s family has created something truly akin to a luxury glamping retreat, without the retreat prices. Rest assured you’ll have all the comforts of home when you come here.
Here’s what you can expect when you stay here:
A thoughtfully stocked outdoor kitchen - other than a fridge, you really have everything you need in this outdoor kitchen. Glasses, cutlery, cutting knives, cutting boards, microwave, kettles, stovetops, BBQ, cleaning supplies, you name it, Sibo’s provided it
An elevated electric compost toilet - literally elevated in a cute little cabin. This is one of the nicest decorated outdoor washrooms I’ve seen in Ontario. Earth-toned translucent sink, various air freshener options, toilet paper, extra toothpaste, hair dryer. Yet again the attention to detail in this space can be found everywhere.
Thoughtfully designed firepit - Worth mentioning, their firepit has a raised rock facing directly opposite of the tent. It blocks the wind from blowing smoke from the firepit into the tent. Talk about attention to detail!
Retreat-worth bell tent - I’m not kidding when I say I looked at several other bell tent listings available and the level of amenities available and decor is on par if not better than some retreat bell tent glamping sites priced at 200-300 a night
Propane Powered Mosquito Trap - haven’t seen one of these in my previous camping experiences. I thought that an additional mosquito trap was such a great idea to add to the space to add comfort for summer guests
An actually dog-friendly space - inside the bell tent you’ll also notice that Sibo has very kindly included a dog bowl and a dog bed in case you forget to bring your dog’s gear too
Sibo also provides a travel guide as part of the check-in and familiarization process. We ended up spending our full stay onsite because the space was so nice. Like many other reviewers have mentioned, once you stay here you’ll wish you stayed for more nights than you booked for.
We came with two dogs. The tent and property were more than large enough and well shaded enough for the dogs to comfortably rest and relax on the property without fear of overheating.
One couple of things to note for prospective guests - the running water comes from a well on the property. It needs to go uphill so don’t expect strong water pressure. If you have multiple guests trying to use the running water, (e.g. to wash hands in the kitchen and washroom), you’ll need to take turns. There simply isn’t enough water pressure to service all the pipes on the site at once. Also, the hot water shower is cold/lukewarm - like most campsites, do expect to have a cooler than normal shower if you are taking one.

This place is absolutely adorable. Everything you need is here, it feels like your completely isolated but you have Sibo and Gee at hand if at all needed. Lots of places around to hike or kayak and for/drink necessities very close. I will definitely be coming back

Hilltop Glamorous Camping
We had a wonderful time!
Sibo and her husband made my wife and I both feel at home! The site is quite spacious, and had everything that we needed to spend a couple nights in the area. Plenty of amenities were nearby and available in case we needed anything. Communication was smooth, prompt and professional before and during our stay. Beds were comfy and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cooking appliances and sundry supplies. The pictures don't do this site justice. We would happily visit Sibo and this site again, and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you for the hospitality and a great weekend away in nature.
