These campsites are newly developed and are located at the very southern tip of Algonquin Park. There are about 30 - 50 feet between most campsites. Depending on the campsite sometimes there is more than 50 ft or less than 50 feet as some campsites are meant to go together when people are traveling in groups. You will need to put in a request and details, for the time you would like to book. The site will not book automatically. The more details you give me the better I can decide which site is best for you. There are lots of trails and less than an hour from the Algonquin Park East Gate. Please be respectful of the other campers and leave the property as clean as you found it. There is horseback riding available next door and canoe, kayak and SUP rentals 2 km from the campsites. These campsites are also located within the Geocaching Capital of Canada, so a great place to find treasures, nearby. Kingscote Lake is about 7 km up the road and High Falls Hiking trailhead is about 2 km from campsites.

These are the Hastings Highlands! Within a 10 minute drive you'll find an abundance of lakes, including the beautiful Papineau Beach—a picturesque child-friendly and swimmable lake with shallow waters. It also offers breathtaking sunset views! The east gate to Algonquin Provincial Park is a scenic 30-minute drive, while hiking trails suitable for all skill levels can be found closer at Lake St. Peter Provincial Park. The campsite includes a canoe, 3 paddles and 3 life jackets. THERE IS NO WATER ACCESS from the site, so all watercrafts must be transported by vehicle. Ratchet straps will be provided to secure the canoe to your roof racks. The spacious campsite has pull-through access for trailers, and space for up to 3 tents. The site is surrounded by a variety of tree and plant species while the quiet nights encourage visits from wildlife, including grouse, deer, moose, and turkeys. The campsite comes with a fire pit, picnic table and a small shed for storing lawn chairs and other items. Tucked at the back of the property sits a comfortable and clean outhouse that was newly renovated and restored in Spring 2024. Hand sanitizer, air fresheners, and ventilation ensure the outhouse stays fresh. Garbage removal will be provided. Unlimited water for cleaning purposes will also be provided. Guests must bring their own potable water. Weekend Trip to River Gettaway

I went up with 9 friends for my 40th bday celebration and this spot did not dissappoint. There was a lot of us, many tents, and many cars so I was worried about space but Paul was extremely accommodating so everything worked out. We had spot #2 which had a great view of the river and stars at night. We swam each day but will come with tubes next time to do a lazy river run. Thanks again Paul! This weekend will be remembered until the end of my days.

Weekend Trip to Simple Cabin in town

This place was beyond words the setting the lights which gives it that romantic magical feeling , and then waking up to the cottage being surrounded by 8-10 deer just laying few feet away while having our coffee on the back porch blew our minds , and it never bothered them us being there. The host was amazing as well and made this place the perfect getaway. I will definitely book again there and recommend everyone to book here

Weekend Trip to Campsite in the Pines with Canoe

A great spot, very quiet and sheltered (with excellent cell reception). There was no bug tent there when we went at the end of summer, but I had bought my own just in case (and we didn't need it anyway). Maybe double check with the owner if that's something you need. A short drive to Bancroft, with lots of trails in the area (and the owner has a binder of 'hidden' trails in the area). The canoe comes with paddles & PFDs, but no straps or foam padding to attach to a car (if you want to take it out, you will need to bring your own). All in all, a fantastic stay, and I would be back again.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was exactly what my family was looking for. The cabin was close to a village, Lake St Peter provincial park and not far from Algonquin.

4 nights at Muskoka Wellness Retreat

It was a nice stay. Unfortunately the weather was poor for 3 of the 5 days I was there but I made the best of it. My site had "water access" it was on the water but besides launching a canoe it isn't very good for swimming, very weedy, same as the common beach area. I went to Hutcheson beach which is only a five minute drive away. It would still be nice to see a floating dock added. The site was spacious and it was nice to have the canvas tent there. It is very dark in the tent so bring extra lighting. The bed was comfortable but it needs a head board so the pillows don't fall off. Maybe some hooks or a shelf to put things on. The space between sites is substantial and you have a lot of privacy from other campers, it was very secluded considering it was only 8-10 minutes to downtown Huntsville. I had a nice and relaxing stay. Looking forward to my next visit.

Large sites, well spaced-out from others, private outhouse, large fire pit with grate. Note- as per the listing, no potable water on site, but owners happy to let you fill up at the stables just up the road. Lovely access to hikes and lakes short drives away.
