We’re Lily, Wesley and Danielle, your hosts at Cabin Glory. We're a family of joyful and curious nature lovers. We started this journey with Cabin Glory on a whim, driven by a deep desire to spend more time experiencing the wild around us. Lily was seeking out a new project, and Danielle was embarking on her handy-woman career. Luckily, Wes and his dad are quite handy already and were ready to tackle the enormous dream of renovating our cabin. We're proud to share this space with you, that we have created with love, sweat, and so, so many mosquito bites. As you rest or adventure here, our wish is that you can connect with yourself, the company you keep, and the earth around you. There's nothing quite like hearing the symphony of rustling leaves as the wind passes by, being carried by the gentle movement of the river, or simply in awe of the magnificent horizon. Welcome to Cabin Glory. We’re so glad you're here! Learn more about this land: Cabin Glory is a place intended for connection. Slow down, take a breath, and find what it is that you’ve been missing. Whether it’s a sense of adventure searching for wild animals on a winter hike, a slow morning with a book, a late night with the stars, or stories over a campfire - you’re sure to find it here. Situated on 18 acres, available to our guests we have our main cabin, a dining gazebo, and a riverside gazebo. The area is well treed in for privacy and a true feeling of an escape. Guests can access hours of private hiking trails along the river and through the forest. An open area next to the cabin is available for lounging and games as well as viewing of the night sky with no light pollution. Located an approximate 200ft from the York River, our 700 sqft cabin features vaulted ceilings with ample amounts of sunlight for a cozy yet airy feel. Lovely Stay

Cabin Glory - Riverside Cabin

We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights. Slept well, very quiet, peaceful and beautifully renovated. We'll be recommending it to others and will be back ourselves. Only disappointment was the dishwasher was broken (which we were notified after we arrived) and we thought the windows could of been a bit cleaner. With such large windows and beautiful views - would be nice to have smudge free.

Cabin Glory - Riverside Cabin

The place was honestly so beautiful and we had a great time. The only thing was the size of the cabin for 350 a night in the winter just seemed a little much , great host , great communication, there were lots of great little extras and details but 350 just seems so high for the winter season . Fire pit area wasn’t shovelled out though we had a lovely fire once we did shovel it out ourselves ! Over all a good experience :)

Cabin Glory - Riverside Cabin

Cabin Glory is an excellent place for a retreat from the busyness of life. It is so cozy and lovely on the inside with its modern touches. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and living area were a delight to use. We really enjoyed the private access to York River and because it’s so peaceful, water activities (canoeing and kayaking) were so easy and fun to do! We also went swimming and caught lots of fish! We would definitely come here again!

Extremely cute little place with all the essential amenities provided. Perfect place to just relax and enjoy the nature with kayaks and canoes ready to use. Would definitely recommend this place!

This tiny home is a winner!

Cabin Glory - Riverside Cabin

Thank you Lily, Dani, and Wes, for hosting us at Cabin Glory, for the perfect spot for all 6 of us to relax and unwind for the weekend <3 There was no TV so we got to truly unplug from a big screen and explore the great outdoors that is your property! The cabin was absolutely wonderful and the area was secluded enough to yield us some well-needed peace! We enjoyed using the kayaks and canoe (despite us going the wrong way without checking the map for the loop) and the sunrise at the dock was breathtakingly gorgeous. Can't wait to come back again next time - thanks again for everything! Communication was quick in the DMs and we always found an answer to our questions :)

Cabin Glory - Riverside Cabin

Cabin Glory exceeded our expectations! We loved everything about the cabin. It was beautifully decorated, with lots of natural light and warmth all around the space. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and more. We enjoyed peace and quiet in the woods and exploring private trails on snowshoes. If you are looking to getaway from the city to connect with nature, we would highly recommend it!
