Camping on the Magnetawan River or on the bank of Three Mile Creek on an 87 acre forested property. We have a boat in / canoe in only campsite on the Magnetawan River and a walk-in campsite ( < 100m from the parking area) on Three Mile Creek.

Relax in the Muskoka Chairs at the large fire pit overlooking a bay on the Magnetawan river at the Riverview Campsite. There is a large grassy area for setting up tents and a small table for your cook stove. This is a boat in (or canoe in) only campsite on the Magnetawan River. There is no road to this campsite. Launch your boat or canoe at the Little Doe Lake boat ramp located at the mouth of the Magnetawan river and paddle your way to the campsite, which is approximately 4 to 5 kms downstream of the boat launch. The campsite is similar to backcountry campsites where you need to bring everything you need, including drinking water, with you. There is an open air treasure chest aka a Thunder Box, a fire pit, camp chairs, a small table for your cook stove and lots of space for your tents! ** You will need a boat, canoe, or kayak, etc. to access Riverview Campsite. There is no road access. There are no water taxis or any other way to access this campsite without a watercraft of some sort. Refunds will not be offered if you arrive without a way to get to the campsite (ie. No boat / canoe / kayak, etc.) Please do not book this campsite if you do not have a watercraft (ie boat, canoe, kayak, etc.)

Creekview Campsite is a short hike (less than 100 meters) from the parking area. This is a small campsite that can accomodate 1 medium sized tent, or 2 small tents. Enjoy the campfire beside the creek. We have a larger accessible sized porta-potty near the parking area that you can use. Please note that this campsite is between the road and railroad tracks and there is no access to the Magnetawan River from this campsite.

Amazing site! Great views, well maintained land, and plenty of wood available for fires! Your own space with nothing around, so our dogs enjoyed a weekend of freedom as well! This was our second time, we went last year and loved the site, so this year came back and brought my parents!

Nice private spot. Train can be loud but not to frequent. Lots of wood was available for us and site was clean on arrival.

Great site! Very quiet spot, with lots of space and serene view of the river. Very easy to get to, and David was very responsive whenever we contacted, with thorough replies that made planning and travel a breeze! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing river escape

My son and I had a great weekend paddling in to this beautiful riverside campsite tucked into a quiet bend. The site feels wild and natural in the best way — tall grasses, birds nesting in the woodpile, and muskrats swimming back and forth all day. Swimming was awesome, and the breeze kept the bugs down (barely touched the bug spray!). There was plenty of wood to burn, comfy chairs, a firepit, and even a table — didn’t have to pack much in, which was a big bonus. My son loved gathering materials and building the fire, and we both enjoyed fishing, reading, and relaxing in the hammock. My dog loved lounging in the grass. The host was fantastic — super helpful and patient answering all my (many!) questions since it was our first-ever canoe camping trip. We’re already planning to come back. A perfect mix of adventure and chill.

Riverview Campsite (boat access)
This was a great spot for a group. A nice paddle in to the site. Lots of space for tents. Great spot for swimming. I would highly recommend booking here for a backcountry experience.
