We have 4.4 acres of land on a spring fed lake. (Even though it is spring fed the water is warm for swimming.) We are located between Trout Creek and Port Loring on Hwy 522. We have 3 vintage trailers, each with a slightly different experience. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing. We also have a 4 person paddle boat. Bring water shoes if you have them. The water edge is in it's natural state. The trailers come fully equipped. You need only bring food, bedding and 1 pound propane tanks to use the small barbeque. Our property is off the electric grid. The trailers have fridges and stoves powered by propane and the lights are powered by battery recharged with solar panels. We do not at this time have running water and the toilets are clean outhouses - not stinky and disgusting. We have a couple of small docks and you can fish right from the dock. If you are a bird lover you will enjoy watching the blue heron and hearing the loons and frogs sing at night. This property often experiences spectacular sun sets. We have fire pits, books and board games.

Lakeside Trailer Private Dock is located in a clearing beside a vegetable garden overlooking a lake with a beach sand path down to a private dock. The recreation area is covered in beach sand with fire pit, table and chairs and lounging chairs. There is a badminton set in the trailer if you like that sort of thing. Beside our property is a boat launch if you are bringing your own boat. The lake is a 300 acre spring fed lake. (Don't worry the water is warm for swimming.) This is off the electric grid but guests are welcome to bring a generator and plug it into the trailer if they wish. Lights in the trailer are powered by battery which is recharged by a solar panel. The fridge and stove are powered by propane. Guests will share a clean outhouse with another trailer located about 120 feet away. There is forest between giving this trailer a sense of privacy. The trailer comes with cooking equipment, dishes and cutlery, pots and pans, dish soap, dish cloths and dish towels. You will need to either bring water up from the lake to wash your dishes or draw water from a nearby rain barrel. A bucket is provided. We will provide bottled water for drinking. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING. Sleeping bags that zip are best for the months when the nights get cool. The couch folds down into a double bed. The table folds down into a single bed and there is a single bed loft for a small person. We provide 2 canoes, paddles and 4 adult life jackets with this trailer rental. Life jackets must be worn if you are using our boats. Some child size life jackets are available if you request them. At this time the cellular service is not accessible on most of the property. Down the lane beside a tree marked with a red X we (on Rogers network) can usually get enough service to send texts, do calls and check voice mail. You should let people know that you may be difficult to reach during your stay with us. Our neighbour lets us use his wifi so if you can't get a message out by text, we can do it for you. One of us will be available at the property during your stay with us so do not worry that you would be alone, and don't hesitate to ask us for anything you might need. We have a sweet golden lab dog who most of the time is on leash but you may enjoy watching his crazy running and swimming - he will keep you entertained if you like that sort of thing. The nearest convenience store and LCBO is about 20 minutes drive away.

Enjoy the best views on the property! This trailer with sun room is directly on the lake front across from a small island with a unique pine tree. The trailer enjoys the gentle breezes that come off the lake and has direct view of spectacular sunsets. Walk down to the dock and head out for a kayak, canoe or paddleboat ride. You have access to a dock for swimming and fishing (left dock) (NO DIVING) and a dock for launching a kayak, canoe or paddle boat (right dock). There is a hammock beside the water where you can dose off and there are Muskoka chairs to relax beside the lake. The trailer comes with cooking equipment, dish soap, dish cloths and dish towels. You will need to bring water up from the lake to wash your dishes (or get it from a rain barrel). A bucket is provided. The table folds down into a shorter bed (5'6"). There is also a double bed, a single bed and a loft bed. (The loft And table bed are for children or small adults.) There is a full size couch in the sunroom. BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING. In the north it can cool down significantly at night, bring warmer bedding than you would think you need. Sleeping bags that zip up work best. We have at this time 2 canoes, 5 kayaks and a 4 person paddle boat. 6 adult life jackets are available and 3 child sized jackets. Life jackets must be worn if you are using our boats. We have a charcoal barbecue at the site and there is a small propane barbecue . BRING YOUR OWN CHARCOAL OR ONE POUND PROPANE TANKS. We provide one wheelbarrow load of wood. Additional wheelbarrow loads of wood can be purchased for $10 each. There are two other rental trailers on the property with a bit of forest between them. Noise travels on the lake so this is not a good place for all night parties. Quiet time is from 11 pm to 8 am.

This vintage trailer has a screened-in outdoor sitting area and kitchen. The trailer sits among trees. A short walk down a hill gets you to the lake and docks to go for a swim or take a kayak/canoe ride. There is an outhouse directly across from the trailer and another a short walk on the driveway. You have access to a dock for swimming and fishing (left dock) and a dock for launching a kayak, canoe or paddle boat (right dock). Lakeside Camper Trailer Sunroom

We had an incredible experience glamping with Mario as our host. Despite the gloomy weather, everything was absolutely amazing. Mario's hospitality was top-notch—he went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The attention to detail in the setup made our stay cozy and memorable. We also adored Fergus the dog, who added a special touch to our stay. Highly recommend Mario for anyone looking for a fantastic glamping experience!

Lakeside Trailer Private Dock Canoe

This place was incredible. Firstly, we would like to give our kindest regards to Mario for his hospitality and generosity. His warmth and kindness made the stay incredibly comfortable and made us feel welcomed. The family loved conversing with him and hearing the jokes and wisdom he had to share. He would often give us gifts from his garden for us to enjoy. He is often accompanied by his very special dog Fergus, who became a regular visitor to our site– he is very disciplined and jolly. The site is like a slice of paradise perfect for people looking to relax and get away from their busy lives. The lake is beautiful and clean and the facilities–outhouse–are well maintained. There is so much more amazing things to say about Mario & Fergus and our stay, however, the experience can be summed up as special. The stay we had was nothing short of beautiful. Hopefully we will be able to visit again.

🏕 We had an amazing weekend!! 🏕 Pat and Mario are very welcoming, friendly and great to talk to. The private site is very well kept and clean. We were very comfortable at this gorgeous location!! With a canoe and floties included for free, we had a blast relaxing by the lake and in the water, with direct access & private dock. Fire wood included, and the trailer provided a comfortable sleep. We will be returning soon!

Lakeside Trailer Outdoor Kitchen

We had the best time at Pat and Mario's. Accommodations were perfect! Clean and organized, everything we needed was there. We actually forgot something and they brought provided us! They were so hospitable, showed us all the best fishing spots, provided multiple kayaks, paddleboard, canoe, outdoor games as well as board games! Our time was so enjoyable and relaxing. The kids had an absolute blast. The lake was warm and easy entry, shallow entrance which was nice for the kids. They caught 20 fish each! The property was private and well laid out. We went to bed late and got up early all 5 days. Highly recommend, we will be back for sure!

INCREDIBLE CAMPIMG EXPERIENCE

What a fabulous extra long weekend. Where do I start? I almost don't want to write a review, to keep this little hidden gem to myself :) but we must share all great things in life. First off Pat and Mario are the most incredible people I've had the pleasure of meeting. So very kind, genuine and caring people. Eveything is as pictured and noted. The trailer is rustic and very clean and fully stocked with kitchen items, books and board games. Extremely comfortable trailer to stay in and comfortable bed. The Owners have done awesome things with their little slice of heaven and are still working very hard to create their beautiful vision. I visited close by towns, attended local fall fairs, kayaked on Pine Lake, sat by open fires nightly and met more amazing people during my 4 night stay. The Lake is gorgeous, and has some incredible sunset views. Evening Kayaking is the best. The area is very well lit up for night time bathroom trips, and while you do have to use "The Poop House" it's one of the best outhouses I've used, and is very clean. Everything you'll need is there for your use, and if they don't have what your looking for, the Owners will go above and beyond to help their guest. I was very happy with this rental, and will most definitely be a returned guest. You'll also fall in love with their dog Fergus 🐾🖤 The only downfall was that didn't find this gem sooner, I would have spent most of my summer there. The BEST 3 Year Anniversary Trip!

Lakeside Trailer Private Dock Canoe

The three of us (myself, my husband and my dog) spent a wonderfully relaxing week at Pat and Mario's gorgeous spot on Pine Lake. It truly was a fantastic experience from the moment we got there - everything we needed was provided (full access to the kayaks and canoe, all firewood, help with anything AND everything!!) The trailer is super cozy and we slept comfortably each evening. We took full advantage of the beautiful water and INCREDIBLE sunsets. Mario even helped put my hammock up for me and we spent a couple lovely evenings with Pat and family around the campfire playing songs and jamming together, as Pat is an excellent singer/songwriter and we are musicians as well! It was much more than a regular camping experience and we really felt welcome there. Our pup had an amazing time exploring everywhere and meeting her new fuzzy friend Fergus, the head of campground paw patrol. We enjoyed plenty of activities around Port Loring (recommend heading there for excellent ice cream & burgers at the Port Shores) and also touring Burk's Falls and the Screaming Heads of Midlothian (DEFINITELY CHECK THIS OUT!!) In all, Pat and Mario really went above and beyond our expectations. They have lots of plans to continue to expand and improve and we will absolutely be booking for next year! Lakeside Trailer Private Dock Canoe

Our party of 4 stayed at the “Taylor Coach” on Canada day long weekend which was a few steps away from the lake. The unit had a fridge that kept our food and drinks cold. Mario was a great host and checked in several times making sure we were good. We had access to plenty of wood for our fire pit, we had access to a generator to charge our devices if needed, the LCBO is a short 20 minute drive if you need to fill up your drinks. I recommend staying here to mentally unplug and recharge.
