Our remote off grid property in the forest east of Eagle Lake is a great place to disconnect and decompress. The roadside Bunkie sleeps 2 comfortably and can accommodate a RV trailer or tent as well. We have 4.4 acres of land on a spring fed lake. (Even though it is spring fed the water is warm for swimming.) We are located between Trout Creek and Port Loring on Hwy 522. We have 3 vintage trailers, each with a slightly different experience. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing. We also have a 4 person paddle boat. Bring water shoes if you have them. The water edge is in it's natural state. The trailers come fully equipped. You need only bring food, bedding and 1 pound propane tanks to use the small barbeque. Located on a 1 acre property on Magnetawan River in Dunchurch, Ontario this little piece of heaven is a separate area in front of our cottage and should be used as a "glamping experience" on water. We love to host people for time away in the fresh forest country air. Many enjoy their time here hiking, fishing or just hanging out reading a book, playing some games or relaxing. You are more than welcome to use our canoe and kayaks, just be sure to wear life jackets, your safety is a priority to us. Dunchurch is well known for its amazing trails such as the Wild Cat ATV Trail only 10 mins from the front door of the Cabin. We are happy to allow you to use the area at your leisure however, please note you must have your own ATV’s and insurance for riding recreational/motorized vehicles, we do not provide coverage for this. If you are considering guides for ATV Trail riding, please let us know. We are happy to make separate bookings for this on weekdays or even weekends. There is an Outhouse just steps from the Cozy Cabin front door to be used for your bathroom needs (just note there is no running water in either the Outhouse or the Cabin). There is a wash station beside the Outhouse for cleaning up, washing dishes or meal prep. Loads of private parking for vehicle(s), recreational toys or other. Whitestone is also well known for 11 lakes within a 5 km radius of the property. Just a wee reminder of what's Included/Excluded: Excluded: Life jackets, bath/kitchen towels, dishes/cups/mugs/utensils, cooking tools, paper towels, garbage bags, bedding (sheets, pillow cases, etc), cleaning supplies, charcoal for the bbque, firewood, lighters or recreational toys. . Included: Coffee maker, kettle, toaster, bar size fridge, internet, tv, fire stick, bbque (bring charcoal), private parking, fire pit (bring firewood) and complimentary use of the waterfront, kayak(s), canoe and community park. Weekend Trip to Off -Grid Forest Retreat

It was amazing! The bunkie was adorable and even in the middle of winter they accommodated. In the winter months the access road turns into an OSFC trail! That was a bit of a shocker but we made it and it seems as though Michelle keeps it fairly maintained up until the bunkie, so thank you. Also looks like Theres a lot more to offer when Theres no snow. Definitely coming back in the summer

I loved my stay in dome sara was very welcoming. It was my first time glamping experience we had a great experience. It was warm and cozy great facilities provided by sara check in and check out was very easy and details provided by sara was in so detail that everything went so smooth. Will definitely visit again.

A beautiful, private spot to relax and unwind! Sara was a wonderful host and made our stay so comfortable! The property is absolutely beautiful and the cabin was exactly what we needed for a weekend away to dissconnect & connect with each other! The dog also loved it! :)

Weekend Trip to Algonquin Lakeview Glamping Dome

We absolutely loved our stay at Derrick and Rachel's place! It was everything we dreamed of. The place is private, quiet and you are able to fully relax here. The Dome is beautiful, set high with gorgeous lake views. It is clean, extremely comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. They have every amenity you require, and excellent seating areas outside (around the fire, and at the dock). The available kayak, canoe and paddleboards allows you to fully enjoy the property. The sauna/shower was such a nice touch and a great way to unwind at the end of the day. If you are looking for a hidden gem, slice or paradise, or the perfect getaway this is your place! Rachel was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend.

Derrick and Rachel's place is absolutely incredible! Such a great escape from the city! Its peaceful but also has options for activites like canoeing and swimming and games! They have everything you can think of from lighters to lamps! We will definately be coming back to stay!

4 nights at Lighthouse Landing Camp

We had a great time at Light House Landing! We celebrated our 6th anniversary at the cabin and it was a great experience, we woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise on the lake! Jim, Alyssa and Fran have created such a welcoming environment and were great hosts (like texting to tell us turtles were hatching on the beach one morning or showing us how to feed the chickadees). The cabins were very nice, clean and on the water. We would highly recommend this little slice of paradise

We had a great stay thanks to Rachel and Derrick at the Algonquin Glamping Dome! Amazing views of the surrounding lake and a lot of amenities. This cabin is lovely! It is clean, fully stocked with cooking essentials (pots, pans, plates, knives, etc), and the host is very thoughtful, communicative, and helpful. I stayed here twice - on my way to the east coast and on my way back.

Weekend Trip to Brennan's Hill Camping and Cabins

We rented a trailer at Kim's campground, and the amazingly everything was tidy and clean and Kim responded promptly to our requests, it was just three of us and we rented a 6 person trailer, ample space, equipped with heater and fridge lots of lighting. Kim's attitude was friendly and assuring that if you have a problem that can be addressed she will attend to it. She had a stargazing activity set up for everyone. I strongly recommend this camp ground. P.S: the power outlets don't work in the trailer and for you to be able to charge your phone you sould have 12v plugging.

What an absolute treasure this place is! Beautifully appointed, completely serene and so peaceful! We loved our stay and thankfully the weather was perfect! Only thing I would note is we would’ve liked to be notified that the sauna and shower are located up by the main cottage near the road but other than that just perfect!

We had an amazing time and Pat and Mario are wonderful hosts that make your stay so enjoyable ! Pine Lake is gorgeous and so are the sunrises and sunsets that go with it. The fishing was incredible and the trailer and outhouse were super clean . We will be going again next year for sure!

Cabin #1 is great! Beautiful and solidly constructed cabin, great deck and privacy outside, very comfortable bed and cozy gas fireplace all made the stay comfortable and enjoyable! We wish we could have stayed longer and we will come back!
