We understand that insects, particularly black flies and mosquitoes, can be an inconvenience and may impact the outdoor experience for some guests. Unfortunately, insect activity is a natural part of Northern Ontario's environment during certain times of the year and, much like the weather, is beyond our control. While some guests are not particularly bothered by it, others may find it more noticeable. We encourage all prospective guests to familiarize themselves with what to expect during bug/black fly season so they can make an informed decision about when to book and to be better prepared.
