This cozy spot away from the urban bustle offers tranquility and natural beauty with trails on the 50 acre property to explore, water access within minutes, and the beautiful Algonquin Park 25-minutes away, there is more than enough that will engage your body, mind and soul. Bark Lake, Madawaska Valley’s largest lake, is just a 2 min drive away and boasts a boat launch and public beach/park. A second beach/park is just 10 min away. A beautiful, impressive 50ft waterfall is 3km away by paddle. The waterfall can be slid down part way (with caution). Canoes/kayaks can be rented in the town centre 10 min away. The waterfall can be seen in the photo gallery. The property has 3 trails systems to fully immerse yourself in nature. Algonquin Park has endless trails and opportunities for water activities. You can check out their daily events posted on the Friends of Algonquin webpage. And there’s also educational opportunities at various locations such as the Logging Museum and the Visitor Centre. I am happy to support any of your inquiries and will do my best to accommodate. I look forward to hosting you!16’ x 14’' tent frame that sleeps up to 8 with a potential for 1 queen, 2 double and 2 twin-sized air mattresses and 2 double-sized air mattresses. There is room for extra mattresses and mats and tents can’t be set up outside. Bedding supplies are NOT provided (ex: sheets, blankets and pillows). Power on site with 6 outlets. No Running water on site. Drinking water will be available with the opportunity to refill jugs as needed. Jugs of non-potable, rain water will be available for cleaning/grooming use. A bug tent is set up with a cooking station* and picnic table. A gas stove/grill is available for use along with basic cooking utensils and dish-wear. If campers need anything, I am nearby and happy to provide advice and assistance 🙂 NOTE: There are bugs in the woods! You can expect blackflies (late May-early July), deer/horse flies (July-August), mosquitoes (all summer) and sand flies (August). Citronella candles and bug spray generally do the trick. 4 Mosquito nets are provided for sleeping arrangements. There are 2 electric bug zapper rackets on site, which are oddly satisfying to use. ——————————————— *Cooking station includes: Propane tank, cutting board, pairing knife, bread knife, wash basin, dish soap, 2 storage bins, 1 frying pan, 3 set cooking pots, 1 tong, 1 spatula-flipper, 1 wooden spoon, 5 roasting sticks, oven mitts, Plastic plates/cups/bowls/utensils for 8 people.

It was great to stay at Julie's Camp Site. Most of the things you need for camping will be available at the site. Best campsite for those who are new to Camping . Would recommend this place for sure :)

Julie’s place made us feel right at home. We usually go car camping or backcountry and this was exactly in the middle of both. Would definitely recommend staying here it really is glamping and a great time.

Beautiful peaceful stay

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night as a little get away. We were extremely pleased with the site. It had everything we needed (which is convenient for people like us who don’t have any camping gear). If you are looking for a quiet peaceful camp site and love star gazing then this is the perfect site for you!

This was a perfect and well equipped spot for a little getaway with friends! The tent is incredibly spacious, and the outdoor cooking setup makes camp cooking a breeze. Very close to so many trails, too! Julie was a great host and always ready to help!

😀 I would want to let everyone know that our stay at Julie's Glamping Under the Stars was an amazing experience. Hats off to Julie who made our stay very very comfortable. We left with amazing stories. Just keep one thing in mind if you see a black bear at night. It could be Barkley (very friendly BLACK FURRY Dog). Dont run away and hide in your car for over 30mins. 🤣 Like we did. Thank'sJulie for the experience.

Campsite was as expected! The structure on the property is great and Julie supplies all of the basic cooking utensils. Just bring your own extra bowls if you have a larger group and everyone should bring a plate/ mug/ cutlery. We walked down the street about 5 min to a little piece of crown land where we could jump (and rope swing) into the water. At night we made s’mores and plugged in our projector to watch a movie on the side of the glamping tent. Ps. The thunderbox is slightly more private than it appears in photos, not an issue at all even with a larger group.

This spot is special. My friends and I instantly fell in love with it when we drove up. The site was private and beautiful at night around the fire. The beach down the road is sandy and the water is amazing. Julie was an amazing host preparing everything we needed prior to our arrival . 10/10 would recommend and would visit again for sure.

Wilderness with a touch of home.

This site is great. Clean and well stocked (wood and water). Even though the weather wasn't very good rain sun etc. Still a good escape into the forest. Julie was an excellent host, highly recommended. We found it better than advertised.

If you don't have a lot of gear or you don't want to pack all of yours, Julie's campsite will be perfect for you. She has provided all of the basics in a clean, private space. The tent and air mattress were comfortable and she even provided us with a small heater.

Relax and Unwind in the Wilderness

Julie was an incredible host! She connected with us before our stay to provide answers to our questions, and suggestions on what else we could do in the area. When we arrived at the site, she and her furry friends were there to greet us with a warm welcome. The site was easy to access, beautiful, and very clean. We literally only needed to bring food, dishes, clothing and bedding, everything else was provided. The location is close to beaches, parks, and is equipped with stunning nature trails for great hiking. The tent is well built, and was much larger than we had anticipated, providing ample space for the 4 of us. It even has electricity. We had so much fun cooking, roasting marshmallows around the bonfire, and gazing at the stars from the tent steps. I highly recommend a stay here.

Julie was a phenomenal host. The campsite was so well built and the tent was extremely cozy. It fit 4 girls so easily. It’s so close to the water and there are so many fun things to do in the area. Would 100% recommend to a friend and will be back!!!
