Amazing! The kids loved it, super close to the beach and Julie setup everything before hand which made the stay super easy! A ton to do close by and would recommend.
Everything was set up and ready. You did not need to bring anything other than bedding food and drinks. Location to Barry’s Bay and Algonquin Park is perfect.

Super cozy place! It’s a great site stocked up with all the necessities. Julie was so kind and was always happy to help with any questions we had including exact directions to get to some of the nearby attractions. The area is also beautiful and Moores Falls is a MUST SEE! Thanks Julie for everything!

Glamping Under the Stars
The host was very friendly, welcoming, and always responded quickly whenever we needed help.
The biggest downside was the bugs, especially the deer flies. Even with bug spray, we were constantly getting bitten, which made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay. Some of the air mattresses also lost air during the night, so we didn’t sleep very comfortably.
The tent appeared larger in the photos than it actually was and the space was only enough for the mattresses, so it was mainly suitable for sleeping.
On the positive side, the kitchen was well equipped, and firewood and water were provided at no extra cost. We also loved the beautiful lake just a few minutes away by car—it had a lovely beach and was a great place to swim and relax.
Julie is one of the best hosts I've dealt with!! She's extremely personable and so sweet! I mentioned in my booking message the fact my fiancee and I recently got engaged and we found a very sweet note left by Julie congratulating us!!! The camp itself is very easy to find and HUGE!! Julie left us a healthy supply of bug spray and provided us with a bug net for the bed! All in all it was well worth it the location was gorgeous and the host was so friendly!!!
We loved the overall camping experience. The camp was well equipped with all the necessary tools and equipments. We were wondering how we set up the grill. But the things were quite easy. The site was very clean. The only problem we found was with the washroom. Although it was already said and the picture was shown, we didn’t expect much greater than what we found. The tent was good enough for 9 or 10 people if you are ready to adjust. There were 4 mosquito nets which was good enough for 8. But sincerely there wasn’t much mosquitos or flys at the time we went. Julie was quite welcoming. We went straight to her house how the map said, but she directed us to the camp site accurately. And she also gave us extra time to checkout. And we should always follow leave no trace and garbage must be disposed properly. Overall it was a great experience, we recommend it to everyone.
In one word I can say it is a heaven who likes camping there is a lot to see around, Julie is so friendly and warm welcoming person with her cute dog and the main thing I should raise is we have all the kitchen utensils there , including plates and glass which is truly helpful and ask her for the good spot nearby she will help you.

The place has everything I needed. Just bring your sleeping gears and foods you will be fine.
It was so quiet and peaceful during the night
It was great to stay at Julie's Camp Site. Most of the things you need for camping will be available at the site. Best campsite for those who are new to Camping . Would recommend this place for sure :)

Julie’s place made us feel right at home. We usually go car camping or backcountry and this was exactly in the middle of both. Would definitely recommend staying here it really is glamping and a great time.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night as a little get away. We were extremely pleased with the site. It had everything we needed (which is convenient for people like us who don’t have any camping gear). If you are looking for a quiet peaceful camp site and love star gazing then this is the perfect site for you!

This was a perfect and well equipped spot for a little getaway with friends! The tent is incredibly spacious, and the outdoor cooking setup makes camp cooking a breeze. Very close to so many trails, too! Julie was a great host and always ready to help!

😀 I would want to let everyone know that our stay at Julie's Glamping Under the Stars was an amazing experience. Hats off to Julie who made our stay very very comfortable. We left with amazing stories.
Just keep one thing in mind if you see a black bear at night. It could be Barkley (very friendly BLACK FURRY Dog). Dont run away and hide in your car for over 30mins. 🤣 Like we did.

Campsite was as expected! The structure on the property is great and Julie supplies all of the basic cooking utensils. Just bring your own extra bowls if you have a larger group and everyone should bring a plate/ mug/ cutlery.
We walked down the street about 5 min to a little piece of crown land where we could jump (and rope swing) into the water. At night we made s’mores and plugged in our projector to watch a movie on the side of the glamping tent.
Ps. The thunderbox is slightly more private than it appears in photos, not an issue at all even with a larger group.

Such a cute private spot with lots of outdoorsy stuff to do in the area. Julie and Barkley were amazing hosts. Camping made easy and romantic! Looking forward to going back!
This spot is special. My friends and I instantly fell in love with it when we drove up. The site was private and beautiful at night around the fire. The beach down the road is sandy and the water is amazing. Julie was an amazing host preparing everything we needed prior to our arrival . 10/10 would recommend and would visit again for sure.
Great location for first time campers. Everything you need is there for a great time.
This site is great. Clean and well stocked (wood and water). Even though the weather wasn't very good rain sun etc. Still a good escape into the forest. Julie was an excellent host, highly recommended. We found it better than advertised.

If you don't have a lot of gear or you don't want to pack all of yours, Julie's campsite will be perfect for you. She has provided all of the basics in a clean, private space. The tent and air mattress were comfortable and she even provided us with a small heater.

Glamping Under the Stars
Julie was great, my friends and I arrive onsite. Everything one would ask for in camping was already prepared, kitchen, sleeping area, fitepit, etc. Canoeing to the waterfall was worth it.
Julie was an incredible host! She connected with us before our stay to provide answers to our questions, and suggestions on what else we could do in the area. When we arrived at the site, she and her furry friends were there to greet us with a warm welcome. The site was easy to access, beautiful, and very clean. We literally only needed to bring food, dishes, clothing and bedding, everything else was provided. The location is close to beaches, parks, and is equipped with stunning nature trails for great hiking. The tent is well built, and was much larger than we had anticipated, providing ample space for the 4 of us. It even has electricity. We had so much fun cooking, roasting marshmallows around the bonfire, and gazing at the stars from the tent steps. I highly recommend a stay here.
Julie was a phenomenal host. The campsite was so well built and the tent was extremely cozy. It fit 4 girls so easily. It’s so close to the water and there are so many fun things to do in the area. Would 100% recommend to a friend and will be back!!!
