Schoolhouse Inn Glamping tent #1
A nice old schoolhouse lot with pool hot tub gazebo and firepit spots. It is close to provincial parks and the caves. Eva’s kitchen offers a wide variety hungarian meals. They are always fresh and very tasty. Eva and Sandor are excellent hosts. In this old schoolhouse inn you feel yourself just like you are in Grandma’s home and treated as good friends or family members

Great glamping experience, loved the hot tub, hosts were very friendly and always available if needed. The onsite restaurant is not to be missed, delicious. A+ all around.

Absolutely amazing experience! This is my second time and I will definitely be coming back. Such kind and responsive owners. The tent is set up in the best way ever and is super cozy. Amazing for anyone looking for a getaway that's nature-centred but wants to do more glamping than camping.

Excellent host. There were some hiccups due to the host being on a much needed vacation of his own when I arrived. He was very welcoming and made up for the errors.
Would recommend some anti-slip mats by the hot tub, hallways, and bathrooms. You can tell they have put a ton of work into the property and are working on making it better.
Awesome outdoor grill and firepit area. Was in a tent in 2 days of cold rain. Will be back soon for sure!

I am so grateful for my experience at this campsite. The tent was large and well decorated. The accommodations were also awesome! From the breakfast in the morning, the pool, hot tub, the fire pit. The surroundings were breathtaking. I will definitely be returning :)

Great place to stay!Pool looked very clean and well kept (along with the rest of the grounds). Customer service amazing. Very pleasant and welcoming. Also, you must get the Tarimasu!

After not getting a campsite in Achray, Algonquin Park, I searched online and discovered HipCamp website. The Schoolhouse Inn and Campsites have the amenities my husband wanted. There is a pool and hot tub that our children really enjoyed. There are two canoes free to rent. My entire family and I took the canoes on a dolly, walked to the boat launch, which is about five minutes walk from the Schoolhouse Inn and Campsites, and paddled on Round Lake. The hosts, Sandor and Eva, are lovely, personable, and attentive to all their guests. The cafe on site, Eva's Cafe, has authentic and delicious food. I recommend trying Eva's Hungarian doughnuts. Besides being close to the main road, and hearing the trucks go by at night (we were tenting), we all enjoyed ourselves. Just as we were leaving the parking lot, our children asked if they could camp here again. I highly think we will, and, maybe have a retreat getaway with just my husband and I. Thank you Sandor, Eva and family.

Absolutely wonderful service from Sandor and his wife Eva, who is in charge of the cafe on site. Extremely nice and hospitable people, my friends and I didn't feel afraid to ask for help! The sites were much closer together than I thought, but not a big deal. Campfire is amazing, wood is already prepared in advance for those who want to use it. Not to mention the breath-taking starry view at night! Inside the school (ex. Bathroom, shower, etc.) was very clean and well-maintained. Outdoor grills were fairly easy to use. We would definitely love to come again!
