Lovely spot, we were advised of the site being a little damp due to weather but we still wanted to stay, the camp-site itself was very private and our 2x dogs loved it, being able to be in a safe place without being annoyed by others. A fire pit was provided which was a nice touch. It was a little bit of a squeeze with the camper trailer ( so just be mindful of that) but overall a great little spot and well definitely be back.
Amazing to have have this whole peaceful place to ourselves to enjoy a quiet Saturday night just surrounded by the sounds of nature. We saw and heard so many birds including a pacific baza and a red and black wren. There was a lovely cleared area to sit and do yoga and enough bush to keep it fabulous. Penny was very lovely and helpful to communicate with. This was a perfect stay before an easy drive to Yeppoon for the morning Keppel ferry.
We had a lovely stay at Penny's place. We had the choice of 3 sites to choose from. We stayed on a larger flat site overlooking the dam. Although empty, the kids had a great time kicking the footy in it and exploring the property on their bikes. Not to far from Yeppoon or Rocky for some sightseeing. With a convenience store at Cawarral which is handy. Although we didn't get to meet Penny she is always quick to reply to emails and left us a brochure in the letterbox about the property and area. Thankyou for allowing us to stay on your property.
We had a great stay at Penny’s. It was wonderful to have the whole place to ourselves and relax with our family and dogs.
The location is lovely and rural, with a nice breeze flowing through.
Lovely quiet camp on Penny’s property. Rarely heard any neighbours so was very tranquil. Track in is okay just needs some of the overhanging trees trimmed back in order to not scratch the top of the caravan. Thanks Penny
