Pack your car, kids, and dog and head off to the country. Our property is the perfect place to relax, enjoy some peace and quiet, and get back to nature. Clunes Crossing is a working farm with a variety of animals. We have two sites available along Middle Creek that usually have water in most spots after some rain with a dam for swimming, fishing, or kayaking. Campfires are permitted in the supplied fire drums and firewood is for sale onsite for $10 a bag. Guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed but must be supervised at all times as we have sheep, cattle, and other pets on the property. Located on the Granite Belt, 35 minutes from Warwick and 3 hours from Brisbane.

Clunes Crossing Camping Site 3
Easter weekend without the crowds
What a Beautiful, quiet campground. Plenty of wide open space. Little creek runs alongside the camp site to explore. Also has the added bonus of being a short drive to a number of the best wineries around Standthorpe. We will be back!

Clunes Crossing Camping Site 2
The host is lovely and the property and site are nice but not sure why others are saying the sites are private. It’s a large space yes and once it’s booked by a person/group no one else can book it but the other sites are quite close. Too close to call any of the sites private to be honest but thankfully the people either side were considerate campers. Not much to do if there is no water in the creek so bring some games to keep you occupied. Stanthorpe, Warwick and Tenterfield are close by for day trips as well.

Great weekend camping in a relaxing location. Close enough to explore the stanthorpe region and yet far enough away to have the place to ourselves.

Lovely host, met us at 1030pm and showed us to our site as we were running late. The site was so private and quiet but so close to explore Stanthorpe during the day (approx 20min). Would absolutely recommend if you are looks for a little peace and quiet.
