Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN CAMPING TOILET. IF YOU DON’T HAVE ONE PLEASE DON’T REQUEST A BOOKING!!! Our property is made up of native vegetation. Even with other campers you will feel like you are on your own. We are a 15 drive to the Bungonia National Park and have a few beautiful swimming spots within a 45 minute drive (or you can take a dip in the dam). Our property was once part of the Cobb and Co run and we have found a few artefacts over the years. Nearby Oallen Ford is great for gold prospecting. Located nearby is the Historic Loaded Dog Hotel and of course Goulburn's Big Merino. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN CAMPING TOILET. There is plenty of wildlife to be seen. Kangaroos, wombats, possums, lizards, turtles and yes snakes. Birds from Australia's smallest, the Weebill, to the largest, Wedgetail Eagles can be frequently seen, along with many other birds. GUIDELINES: Cost is $15 per camper per night, kids 16 and under are free (just don't add them to your booking). We will allow up to 12 people on a site and we don't have a limit on the amount of cars per site. Sites are private but not totally flat. Fire pits are provided, along with firewood. Firewood provided is sufficient for a fire not a bonfire. All rubbish must be taken with you, no bins are provided at the camp sites. All campers (even if you didn't book the site) need to report to the house. Please don't just speed past the house, you will need our help finding your site. Absolutely loved our stay at Rural Views. Huge private sites. Lots of bird life, kangaroos and wombats. The weather was perfect, we even had a go on the paddle boards on the dam. Jeanelle is an amazing, hard-working woman. So much knowledge. We will be back!

Fabulous spot. We had a group of 7 cars and caravans/camper trailers, 15 people and 4 dogs. Great for our large group. Jeanelle is a fabulous host and super friendly. We had a ball!

We thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful few days at this property. Our dogs first time camping and she enjoyed the new sights like Kangaroo's and horses. So quiet and relaxing and great communication from the host.

Great quiet location with plenty of clearing to set up. We only used it as a stop over for one night but would gladly stay again. Thank you Jeanelle for providing clear directions to your great spot.

Really nice location, quiet, well maintained sites. Having firewood setup at the was a nice touch. The sites are spead out from from each other, so feels like you are the only ones there. Jeanelle was a perfect host, communicated quickly, directions were easy to follow, and was nice having a chat when we arrived - will definitely be back!

For nature lovers! I particularly enjoyed seeing a bird using its beak in the tree bark, one metre from my swag! Rich biodiversity present. Many night time sounds coming from various critters, still peaceful enough to sleep soundly though. There is also a lovely area for a firepit. Jeanelle made me feel very welcome and safe on her beautiful bush block, thank you Jeanelle!

Jeanelle was a great host, gave clear directions to the property and had our site ready to go with wood for a comfort fire which was an unexpected surprise. Will come back again soon

Lovely, quiet bush campsites. Jeanelle was a perfect host, very responsive to any queries, but otherwise left us to enjoy peace and quiet. We really enjoyed her company when we invited her for an afternoon tea. Quite a few places to visit nearby. We'd love to return for another stay.

We enjoyed the open fire (wood provided) but the site was not level so required a bit of work on our part. The whole property seems very overgrown with weeds & scrub so not suitable for bush walking

The site was a fantastic, big open, clear space perfect for our family group of campers. Jeanelle was very welcoming and provided us with a stash of fire wood so we could get warmed up quickly after arriving on Friday night. There was one other camper however he was a good distance away and we couldn't see or gear him. The location is also great for a huge variety of day trips. Highly recommend!

Private, separate sites!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rural Views. What appealed to us was that each site is totally separate and you have total privacy. Jeanelle provides all the firewood you need. If you really want to get away from it all and go off-grid and yet be less than two hours from Sydney, this is it!

Great spot. Not to far from Canberra for a short escape. We were the Only ones there. We have a small Jayco poptop that was easy as to get in and out. We had a large mowed site with fire wood if a fire was wanted. We had a cracker of a storm roll over. Loverly host, Jeanelle pop around to check on arrival. Recommend!

Loved our little getaway - neat campsite, felt remote and we were lucky to have clear night skies to star gaze. Jeanelle was also extremely friendly!!! Would recommend!

Absolutely loved this camp site. Quiet, private and perfect views of the surrounding land. Our dogs loved playing here and easily accommodated our camper trailer. Jeanelle was extremely helpful and showed us to the site. Disappointed we only had time to stay for one night. We’ll be back again.

Beautiful campsite on Jeanelle's property, lots of space and completely private!! Just the kind of camping we like. Not far from the Shoalhaven river which was nice for a dip. Thanks again 🙂
