We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming, canoeing. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

We are located in the middle of the Glass House Mountains with wonderful views of Mt Coonowrin. It is a great spot for scenic photography, a base to explore the many hikes and climbs from in the surrounding National Parks. This site is located in the middle of the Glass House Mountains with wonderful views of Mt Coonowrin. Note: This site does not have any toilet or shower facilities so you will need to be a self-contained camper and bring your own. You can bring your own firewood from local service stations or other sources to be used in the firepit. Bring your hiking gear, your mountain bike and definitely bring your camera as the views are stellar. The craggy peaks of the Glass House Mountains tower above the surrounding landscape. They are so significant that they are listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance. Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

Maluka Park

Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other. During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. Kayaks are provided free of charge for all campers to use in Yabba Creek. Please treat them respectfully and return them back to their launching place just below the powerlines. If you wish to bring along your own kayak, you can launch them at the walkway between campsite 8 and 9 where our camp kayaks are stored, however, cars are restricted from driving down to the water edge so you will have to carry them to the water to launch them. Please note that you are responsible for your own kayak. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). Firewood is available and can be delivered to your site by our local contractor. Cost is $20 for a generous load or $10 for a half load. The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. You won’t ever have to trip over your neighbours tent ropes here. Eco friendly lakefront and near to lake front sites. Please don’t arrive expecting lakefront, our sites are all near to and Depending on group size not everyone will have lake frontage. We can never guarantee requests. We assign sites based on numbers and camping equipment. Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We rotate the sites and rest them. Then they don’t get overused. We want our camp sites to look lovely for you. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or we can give you a full refund. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. Stonesthrow

Stonesthrow is a rural property in the Illinbah valley, nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, with council approval for limited camping (4WD only - leave no trace). So if you want to escape the crowds at public campgrounds, your privacy and enjoyment are assured! We are NOT a 4WD park so vehicles must be parked up at your site on arrival and left there unless leaving the property to go to town/tourist activities. Any exploration of the property or travel to toilets is strictly on foot only- NO 4WD'ing. Anyone driving around the property will be asked to leave. There is 500 m of (shallow) creek frontage, kms of walking/riding trails and grassy creek flats for recreational activities. Over the decades, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses. There is also a variety of fruit trees and plantation timber. Caravans are restricted on where they can access- with no guarantee of sufficient sunlight for solar. Elevated/remote sites cannot be reached with a caravan- please bear this in mind if booking with a caravan. Elevated/remote sites require capable 4WD's with off-road/AT/mud tyres only and campers need to be fully self-sufficient including having their own chemical camping toilets. If you don't have your own commercial chemical camping toilet then you will be given a choice of sites with access to facilities. We reserve the right to view/verify your toilet before allowing you access to the elevated/remote sites. Well behaved dogs welcome as long as they are on a lead when moving about the property. The common area (old shearing shed) has composting toilets, communal fridge, microwave, jug, drinking water, sink for washing up and table/chairs. Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with.
