Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided and there is plenty of firewood available. Please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a fire. There is a basic camp kitchen, toilet's, camp shower and a bar setup down near the dam for your use, complete with lights, weber BBQ, microwave, 2 hot plates, a toaster, sandwich press and fridge/freezer. You can also hire out the entire property just for your group or special occasion - please see entire property listing. We have powered and unpowered camp sites available with glamping tents coming soon! We welcome guests in camping tents, caravans, and camper trailers. Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of Murray Grey Cattle or set aside for regeneration. Dog friendly. Simle composting/drop toilet available.

We don’t charge for pets, nor do we charge to use our 6 onsite canoes, nor do we charge extra for hot showers or rubbish removal, we have guest wifi. Our 1km private driveway is rough but if driven to conditions a 2wd has no issues. I have a 2wd and drive in and out multiple times per day. Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. You won’t ever have to trip over your neighbours tent ropes here. Eco friendly lakefront and near to lake front sites. Please don’t arrive expecting lakefront, our sites are all near to and Depending on group size not everyone will have lake frontage. We can never guarantee requests. Furtherest camp spot is approximately 500m from amenities block, however porta loos are located in the remote site but it’s a walk or drive back to the showers. We have several peaceful campsites available on our 175-acre property - some with beautiful escarpment views, and some amongst the peaceful surrounds of the bush. We are 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 660m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast, sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest, and even glimpses of Cressbrook Dam. There are 2 separate campsites on the hilltop, one at each end. We also have 3 secluded bush campsites down in the paddocks, these are private and peaceful with no other campers within sight. They are all situated to be able to enjoy the sunset. We feel very spoilt living here in this beautiful place and would love for others to share it. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, yet less than a 15-minute drive to Crows Nest. There is plenty to explore in the area, including: 🏞 Crows Nest Falls National Park (good for a swim) 🐃 Bullocky's Rest and creekside walk in Crows Nest (dog friendly) 🌳 Ravensbourne National Park (rainforest) 🏚 Crows Nest Museum 🎣 Cressbrook and Perseverance Dams 🚂 Muntapa Railway Tunnel towards Cooyar ☕️ French patisserie and other cafes in Crows Nest. 🛍 Antique and boutique shops 📚 Second-hand book store 👩‍🌾 Also markets in Crows Nest on the first Sunday of each month. We are 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 660m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast, sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest, and even glimpses of Cressbrook Dam. There are 2 separate campsites on the hilltop, one at each end. We also have 3 secluded bush campsites down in the paddocks, these are private and peaceful with no other campers within sight. They are all situated to be able to enjoy the sunset. We feel very spoilt living here in this beautiful place and would love for others to share it. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, yet less than a 15-minute drive to Crows Nest. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We rotate the sites and rest them. Then they don’t get overused. We want our camp sites to look lovely for you. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or we can give you a full refund. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. We are happy for you to enjoy riding push bikes on the property and to enjoy music around your campsite. Bring your kids, dogs, push bikes, or even a canoe and get back to nature! Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided and there is plenty of firewood available. Please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a fire. There is a basic camp kitchen, toilet's, camp shower and a bar setup down near the dam for your use, complete with lights, weber BBQ, microwave, 2 hot plates, a toaster, sandwich press and fridge/freezer. South East Queensland

With the state capital Brisbane as your starting point, head to Queensland’s first National Park, Lamington National Park (established in 1915), for cooler climes and ancient Gondwana rainforests. The south-east’s subtropical climate means lots of sunshine, perfect for any camping trip.

Sunshine Coast

Living up to its name, the Sunshine Coast basks in its many natural attractions, from 100km of beaches to forested hinterland. Spot koalas in Noosa National Park, take a kayak up-river to camp in the Noosa Everglades, or head north along the beach in the Great Sandy National Park. The volcanic peaks of the Glass House Mountains National Park offer hikers and climbers a challenge.

Whitsundays

From Airlie Beach, take off for the green islands of Whitsunday Islands National Park or stick to the coast, exploring Conway National Park, where you may be joined by rock wallabies. Despite its holiday atmosphere, it’s easy to get away from it all. The best islands for hiking and camping are Whitsunday Island and Hook Island.

Southern Great Barrier Reef Region

Straddling the Tropic of Capricorn, this somewhat under-rated region has much to offer. Visit in summer for turtle nesting and hatching at Mon Repos Conservation Park, or head offshore to Lady Elliot Island. The main towns are Bundaberg and Gladstone, but it’s worth checking out the coastal villages of Agnes Water and 1770 or heading inland to explore the trails and gorges of the spectacular Carnarvon National Park.
