The Chippewa County Forest (over 10,000 acres) Hickory Ridge Trailhead is located about 5 miles away. You can enjoy miles of hiking, biking, ATV or horseback riding trails. Trails wind past small lakes and beaver ponds, as well as spectacular vistas and abundant wild life. LIST OF SITES (all of our sites now include a portable toilet, firewood, fire ring, water, power, picnic table and/or chairs). BIRCH Waterfront is named for the beautiful birch trees that frame your view of the lake that also includes soothing evening loon sounds :) It is our medium size campsite with a level gravel and grass pad with lakefront access via the long wooded dock and an included row boat for fishing and boating. EAGLE POINT Waterfront is a favorite because it is the most private, surrounded by trees and is on a elevated waterfront lot with steps down to a dock. This site has a canoe and a row boat and the best spectacular sunset views. The eagle's nest is in a tall pine tree above the steps! BOB LAKE WEST Waterfront is our only site that is not on this dead end road. It is located on the west side of the lake near the boat landing. This site has a bonus small storage shed which could be a cool kids cabin. It is partially wooded elevated site with stunning sunrise views. BOB LAKE WOODED is a non-waterfront campsite for both tents or RV's that has been updated to a level site with power and water and includes access to the lake and a row boat at our common access which is only about 200 yards down the road from this site. This property was previously owned by Trapper Art who was well known in the area and started several successful businesses dating back to 1967 including Art's Snowmobile, Trapper Arts, and Art's Electric which was quite an accomplishment in the Wisconsin Northwoods!

It is rare in that it has a 40 acre field, a 5 acre island, a year round creek and over 2,000 feet of river frontage and nearly 40 acres of woods. Learn more about this land: There are over 80 acres of woods, fields and an island to explore. The property has over 2,000 feet of frontage on the Chippewa River. There is also a year around creek that flows through the property to the river. Currently there are three separate sites that are suitable for camping on the bank of the Chippewa. Each site is primitive and has lots of privacy. There are five trails that go through the woods as well as follow the bank of the river. There is a stairway that descends to the river. The river at this point is rather pristine. There are no houses on the camping side of the river and just a few on the opposite side. The river along the property is great for wading, swimming, canoeing/kayaking and fishing. There are over a dozen lakes within a 20 mile radius of the property. Less than 3 miles from the property there are snowmobile and four wheeling trails that connect to trails that extend over 300 miles. The property is less than 15 miles from the headquarters of the Ice Age Trail that stretches from near Superior to near Madison, Wisconsin.
