Serenity Valley was everything we hoped for and more! The fresh air, wide open views, and peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape. The cabin was incredibly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up — it felt simple but just right. We loved being surrounded by nature, and the deer heads inside added a fun, rustic touch. Weekend Trip to Wedges Creek Hideaway Pizza Farm!

Jeff’s vision for his land and the way he operates is incredibly sustainable and inspiring. The grounds were impeccable and there’s repurposed art around every corner. The cabin was way above my expectations with comfortable linens and an amazing mattress. Jeff himself is incredibly personable, earth conscious and most importantly, he is kind. This is going to be my new go to for a weekend away. I can’t wait to go back!

Serenity Valley was like heaven on Earth! Every thing was perfect, clean, relaxing and majestic! We were able to see so many plant sprout, birds and wildlife! Being set in the valley is like being on the set of fairy tale movie! I will be telling all of my friends about this hidden gem! Plus our dogs got to run free, which never happens in the city! 3 nights at Fisher Cat Creek Forest Retreat

Veronica and Dave’s Cabin was so aesthetically pleasing and cozy to live in for a few days. They were extremely hospitable and friendly upon arrival. We were there in late January during some cold weather, and even in negative temps at some points, but the wood stove heated the cabin well. We feel very relaxed after this trip, and we would certainly recommend it to people that love nature and living simply.

Weekend Trip to Fisher Cat Creek Forest Retreat

We loved this little cabin so much that we booked a summer stay on the drive home! The details are amazing and you can tell the owners put a lot of love and care into the space. The sauna was lovely, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is pretty well equipped - we can’t wait to be back. Note that there is no electricity at this site, but plenty of lanterns / solar lights are provided. A headlamp helps!

5 nights at Cozy Lofted Barn Retreat

Kim and David's lofted barn was the perfect winter hideaway. They put so much effort into their property and the barn, and it shows--the loft is incredibly comfortable, even at freezing temps. We stayed five nights, and got to see some fantastic winter mists, beautiful sunsets, and STARS. So many stars! Kim makes a phenomenal breakfast, so do yourself a favor and take advantage of that during your stay. The amenities are great--camp stove, sink, and camp toilet located on the lower floor of the barn. Eau Claire is a short drive away, with tons of beautiful trails and walking paths. Thanks again Kim, David, Izzy and Lula! We loved staying with you!

This cabin is a special hidden gem that kept my boyfriend and I warm and cozy during the cold winter night! The design of the cabin is beautiful and the decorations are so cute. Veronica is an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back in the future!

This place is really nice! The cabin has wood burning stove that although could get smoky, was a much appreciated touch. We didn't get a chance to do as much as expected but we only stayed 1 night. Maybe we can come back when it's a little warmer. The sauna was nice too. Outhouse provided us with a true camping experience. We are novice campers who love being outdoors. Thank you very much for the wood provided for our fires, would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a cool little getaway

Meander a walking trail system through 30 acres of woods and prairie. In 2019, all 10 acres of fields were planted as dedicated Monarch/pollinator habitat. This is a full sensory experience - flowered meadow and spectacular celestial nights with serenading hoot owls, frogs, crickets and yips of coyotes in the distance. Our chickens do their daily forage through the yard and woods. This is a birder's delight turkey and deer being very common sightings. Our unique greenhouse and pergola are common use areas for all guests to enjoy. The pergola is a large cushioned area providing shade to read a book, charge a device, play cards, enjoy a beverage, eat a meal. Explore the greenhouse production of tomatoes, peppers, and ginger growing along with flowers and other hothouse varieties. Fill water containers, or use the large stainless steel sink (hot/cold water) and countertops to prep meals or wash up. You will also find a beverage service counter, yard games for use, and any on-farm items for sale in this area- firewood, plants, eggs and produce. Tucked discreetly behind the greenhouse is 1 of 2 drop-offs for garbage and recycling, and also 1 of 2 ultra clean port-a-potties found on property. *** We're family friendly! Enjoy a stay at our rustic log cabins nestled 1/2 mile back from our residence in the peaceful woods of our family's 160-acre 5th generation farm. Summertime here is filled with long days of daylight to participate in various activities, or just hang out in the hammock. The warm evenings bring out fire flies, owls hooting, and stargazing while sitting around the campfire. The fall is a very special time of year here with the maples and oaks changing colors. There are two log cabins, one of which doubles as a place to cook maple syrup in the spring, a pavilion, and an odor-free "outhouse". We will only rent to one group at a time, you'll just have to choose which cabin site(s) you want. The group limit is 9 people. Hike the trails meandering through our woods, sit around the large campfire, take a relaxing nap in the hammock, watch sunset down one of the trails, or the many activities of hiking and mountain/fat tire biking groomed trails at nearby Levis/Trow Mound, fishing, kayaking, horse trail rides, and The Highground Veterans Memorial Park is a mile up the road. The pavilion has a large log picnic table, Blackstone griddle, a charcoal grill, and refrigerator/freezer. The pavilion and Sugar Shack cabin have solar power. The Sugar Shack has a small gas stove and oven. The Cozy Cabin does not have solar power yet. All rentals include use of the pavilion and "outhouse". There is no WiFi but there is good cell phone service. Bedding is furnished for cabin stays. Wood is furnished. Charcoal is furnished. We welcome your furry friends, but no more than 2 dogs. We politely request no children under 7 in cabins, and then all children over 7 supervised at all times while in cabins. 2 night minimum; 3 night minimum on holiday weekends such as Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend, and 4th of July if it lands on a Friday or Monday. UPDATE: The gravel road down to the cabins is completed and smooth. Neillsville is located just 2 hours from St. Paul, MN; 2 1/2 hours from Madison; 2 1/2 hours from Green Bay.
