There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special. "The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite. The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands. We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in! There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there! Farm tours and canoe/tube rental available. The surrounding area has a TON of activities to offer for water fun and exploring! Ever want to leave your job and unite with nature? Me too, after 10-plus years of tax preparation, I found myself with a desire to farm and to become closer to the food we take for granted. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. What a cozy, snowy retreat at the G Farm. I was looking for picturesque solitude and I got it! The tiny house was perfect for just me and my watercolor paints. Peaceful Getaway on Beautiful Green Lake 🌿 We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on Green Lake! The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for our family. Weekend Trip to Daycholah Center on Green Lake!

Cabin and amenities were clean and as depicted. We were comfortable as a family of four at the cabin and campground. We enjoyed having the fire pit and chairs (we didn’t find matches but brought our own). The weather didn’t cooperate but the dock and kayaks were really neat and we wish we had stayed an extra day. We thought the grounds and chapel were great and we anticipate coming back again :)

Weekend Trip to The G Farm

I had a great time at their farm. The cabin is perfect for one or two campers and there’s plenty of room for another tent or two as well. There’s a good size fire pit and a couple different docks to enjoy the view of the pond. There’s also canoes and a paddle boat for use with life jackets available as well. They have everything you need available, and a great farm store for any food you might have forgotten to pack. They encourage you to roam around the property and there’s a lot of great stuff to see. I think it’s really great that they were able to set this piece of their property aside to share with anyone trying to get away for some peace and relaxation. They’re also doing some really great restorative work on the land that’s interesting to hear about. I loved my weekend here and I’ll definitely be back again!

Weekend Trip to Scandyland Bell Tent Retreat

We had an amazing time with the dogs. Lake was a short walk down the road. Not far. Very secluded, just what we needed for our holliday weekend. The bed was very soft, and anything we needed was there at camp. We definitely over packed. Would recommend to anyone.

This was my second trip to Bluegill Pond and I will go back again. The fishing was great, and the accommodations were excellent. The bird watching was excellent too. I enjoy Roy’s little cabin set up. It is super convenient. Roy is an excellent host

Weekend Trip to Bluegill Haven

Great spot, site owner has everything you need, worms, fire wood, porta potty, little cabin, and Hugh bluegill in pond that are a blast to fight with. Well maintained, all functional amenities if you use them. Five star rating all around. May not be big enough for like a 30 ft rv unless you got some good backing up skills. But little 16-20ft rvs should fit in just fine. I had a little 8 ft gear trailer and I had tons of room.

Second time staying at Blue Gill heaven. Again Roy was great host! Fishing was great! Row boat is awesome! Saw turtles, lots of birds, peace and quiet!! Wonderful place for fishing and nature enthusiasts!

My husband and I picked Rachel's camper to stay in for a quiet, relaxing night away from our 6 children. We really enjoyed our time, the animals were adorable and Rachel was wonderful! Can't wait to go back with our children to enjoy more time there!

Weekend Trip to Bluegill Haven

This place is a hidden gem! Roy provided a boat and firewood, which is super convenient. Roy was really friendly and showed me around the property. The only downside was the mosquitoes and bugs, but that’s just the price you pay for a spot on water. So don’t forget to bring bug spray, though! Overall, I can’t complain it’s a beautiful property and a great stay.

Weekend Trip to Bouressa Family Farm

Our family had a great time on our weekend glamping trip on Ms. Rachel’s farm. Gracious hospitality and my kids enjoyed the farm tour and animals. We went on the trails on the farm and swam in the river with the tubes.

Hartman Creek Campground

Because of the beach, lots of families with kids and lots of equipment head here in the summer. Aim for weekdays in spring and fall if you're looking for a more peaceful experience.
