Wonderful memories at the farm
Was the perfect getaway with my 9 year old. We spent time walking around the farm and looking at all the animals. Also really enjoyed canoeing on the nearby pond and catching some fish. It was nice to play games in the tiny home and sleep in the bunk beds which were nice and cozy. Most of all my son really enjoyed the friendly gentle giant dog Otis.

It is private though
The porta potty is gross we had to run to Kwik trip to go to the bathroom. No swimming or boating that sludge of water. Some creatures poop all around the camp and picnic table was dirty. The sleeping area was good. If I ever went here again I’d bring my own porta potty and wipes for table and plan a swimming activity elsewhere. Price was high for what it offers. They have a farming business so they are slow to check in bring wood and you can forget their store being manned by a teller.

Wonderful, relaxing experience
What a wonderful place to stay. Otis (and the host) greeted us upon arrival, and showed us to the cabin. The cabin was very private, in an opening of a wooded area, next to a pond. Fishing rods, a paddle boat, and canoe were available to use. Otis checked in on us frequently and guarded us during the night, in exchange for pets and belly rubs. The host was kind enough to show my little one the baby chicks, baby turkeys, baby pigs, and cats and cows.
It was a peaceful experience. We were able to get away from the city and relax with no worries. We were able to get a beautiful view of the stars.
Everything we needed was there. The portapotty was clean. We purchased firewood, which the host was kind enough to bring down a generous pile that held up through the night with plenty for the morning.
Thank you for your hospitality!

Adventure and Relaxation
I took our two daughters here for a last-minute surprise getaway for Father's Day weekend. It was wonderful. The girls fished, we had s'mores by the fire and loved interacting with all the animals. Justin and Kim were kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. I'd highly recommend this as an "adventure" for anyone looking to experience something unique!

My daughter and I loved this! Two city girls with no idea what we were doing. Justin and Family were excellent hosts as well as guides. A beautifully maintained farm with friendly animals, and cute little cabin. We loved the experience.

Relaxing and peaceful
This is a delightful place to stay. Justin (with help from Otis and Baker, the two hardest working dogs in Wisconsin!) was prompt and helpful and tirelessly answered questions. The cabin is adorable - clean, tidy and secure. The pond had plenty of duck and goose visitors (with chicks!!), and the resident chickens were happy to provide lots of entertainment. It was very relaxing and peaceful. I'm looking forward to staying there again.

Rural cozy stay!
Had such a good time at this property. We braved freezing weather but the owner was kind enough to let us borrow some heaters. Sweetest pup I have ever met Otis was there to keep me nice and cozy. Gorgeous sunrise in the morning.

Can’t wait to come back!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The firewood and eggs were brought to site, the dogs were friendly and guarded me well. It was 6° over night and I was very comfortable in the cabin.
Justin gave me a nice tour of the farm, and although I have some anxiety with farm animals, I felt comfortable going into their pens.
I learned so much about regenerative farming and what it takes on a daily basis to keep up this type of farm.
It was a great way to spend my Thanksgiving!

beautiful quiet tiny house
Beautiful serene stay, exactly what we were looking for. I stayed for two nights with my 8Y old daughter. November is cold and we stayed warm with the provided space heater and an electric blanket. We brought a hot plate to make meals and it worked out great. The outhouse is close by. We loved Otis, the family dog that watches over the farm. He came and laid on our porch for part of the night and was back in the morning to check on us and say hi. Secluded area from the rest of the farm. It was nice and quiet for me to catch up on work. My daughters only complaint, we didn’t see any cows, only pigs and chickens. Otherwise, she didn’t want to leave and is already asking if we can go again. Host was friendly and helpful, borrowed us a frying pan that we forgot when packing!

Of all my Hipcamp stays, this one might have been my favorite. I went in early November when it was a bit chilly and brought plenty of blankets to keep myself warm. The tiny house was snug and wonderful. There was a fire pit, lake, dock, picnic table, benches, and two admirable and jovial dogs who greeted me regularly and kept me feeling right at home. I cannot wait to go back. It was absolutely peaceful and darling.

Safe and warm in the country.
I love staying on this property. They provided much more than I expected. The only downside was the interstate noise. But it is near a lovely Pond. I was able to go fishing. All the gear was provided. The resident 'Good Boy' their dog Otis kept me company and kept me safe in the middle of the night. I love the fact that there is electricity. And since it's cold this time of year, the provided space heater was a welcome luxury. There is a Kwik Trip within 2.6 miles of the property. Just in case you need anything at 10 at night, or 5 am. I will definitely consider visiting again soon.

Lovely spot to stay in late October
I really enjoyed my October stay here and they were really friendly and helpful! It was easy to find their farm, and the welcoming committee of their two farm dogs were sweethearts! The cabin was small and cozy, but big enough for what I needed. The outhouse was easy to spot down a little path, and there was waterfront access to use the canoe, kayak, or paddle boat. The cabin does have electricity, a porch light, and a space heater for chilly nights.
The night sky was beautiful too - the Milky Way is visible and there wasn’t a lot of light pollution to get in the way. I stopped at their farm store on my way out and I’m excited to use local, organic meat! It’s about 20-30 minutes outside of Appleton, and High Cliff State Park was close enough to visit as well. Thanks for a great stay!

It was my first time ever camping alone and I felt super safe at the farm especially with their dog Otis sticking around the majority of the night. The tiny house was adorable and most importantly warm 😊. I stopped at the farm store and got chicken, eggs, mushrooms, and onions. I tried the eggs right away (amazing)! I will definitely be back the next time I need to unplug. Great experience!

My husband and I absolutely adored the campsite Justin's farm provided. It was a secluded spot tucked away and right in front a pond. We were able to park our car right next to our campsite so we were able to grab things we needed from the car easily. During the daytime, we enjoyed walking around the farm and seeing the pigs, chickens, and cows. The campsite include a small room which we were able to fit a full-size air mattress on the ground. There was electricity in the room so we were able to charge all of our things. We brought our own cooler, portable stove, chairs, and hammock, and that's all we needed to spend a relaxing weekend at Justin's farm. The best part was playing his two dogs, they came by to say hi to us every once in awhile and we absolutely LOVED it.
I can't recommend this campsite enough and I am certain that we will be back!

Sad
I didn't stay there. We drove in, took one look and left. It was pretty bad. He doesn't show pictures of the inside of the tiny house with good reason. It was so musty smelling and none of the windows could open. You couldn't leave the door open because the cloud of insects coming from the stagnant pond. If there was a porta potty it couldn't be seen. I could go on but it's actually causing me pain to have to write this. You have to drive through the cow pasture to get to it and i would suggest a good cleaning and paint job. I would like a refund for the two nights that I booked but Hipcamp doesn't make it easy to find that button. Lesson learned i guess...😥 Also, I sent a message to the host via the app to let them know that we would be arriving around 7pm and they never bothered to respond.

Wonderful Weekend! We will be back!
We had a wonderful trip to The G Farm and loved camping with the cows! We took our 4 and 6 year old kiddos and within a few hours of arriving they asked when we could come back. We loved walking around the farm watching the cows, pigs, baby pigs, chickens, and turkeys. We packed our tent but found that the tiny house was just big enough to fit us with the bunks and a full size air mattress on the floor. There were so many amenities available to us including a grill (with charcoal!), fishing gear, canoe (life jackets provided), paddle boat, picnic table, and fire barrel (with wood and fire starters). We took the paddle boat out on the pond and caught a fish with almost every cast which kept the kids interested. We were able to get eggs, bacon, chicken, carrots, and pork chops at the farm store. We had eggs for breakfast and are going to enjoy the rest at home. A review of Camping with Cows wouldn't be complete without a shout out to the best farm dogs out there, Otis and Baker. They went with us as we wandered the farm, hung out by the campfire, and relaxed around our campsite. Book this site/experience for a weekend - you won't regret it!

You know you love a place when you can’t wait to go back even before you’ve stopped the car to stay there!
My wife Joyce and I felt so lucky to watch the golden sunset over Justin and Kim’s pond, and then we got a visit from their wonderful big white fluffy dog who hung out with us.
Highly recommend — you must stop here no matter which direction you’re going!

Amazing campsite, friendly animals
My spouse and I had an amazing time camping with the cows. The campsite was beautiful and the cabin was surprisingly roomy for the size. We were pleasantly surprised to find fishing poles, a paddle boat, ample firewood, and most camping amenities I can think of waiting for us.
One thing I hadn't thought of when booking was that most farms have dogs and I have PTSD around dogs. Justin was very good about that and kept the dogs away from us so I could relax and be calm. But one of the dogs was so slow and peaceful and friendly that I actually ended up approaching, petting, playing with, and spending time with one of the dogs by choice. That was the first time I've pet a dog like that in 20 years.
We left the camp feeling reset and healed. I hope we get to come back someday.
