Site 4 secluded hilltop
Thoughtful hosts and great camping
We were greeted by the host and he went out of his way to make sure we were settled and had what we needed. He even had a campfire started for us! , I enjoyed the trail around the property. It was very quiet the weekend we were there, just one other spot occupied. The toilets were clean, and many amenities like a rec room to hang out and play games as well as snacks, drinks, firewood to purchase on site. They also had recommendations for things to do in the area. We really liked this spot!

Site 7 Spacious Group Camp

We had the best time!!! The campsite was beautiful and there were plenty of comforts (showers, toilets, a REC ROOM!) The rec room had a few games and a few items for sale (beer, booze and doggy treats to name a few).
Our hosts were amazingâfriendly and welcoming, they had a fire going for us when we arrived đ¤
We did the hike through the land and got to see all the other campsites, as well. It truly is a spectacular place.
It was the first time camping for a few of us, and we all had an incredible time. We canât wait to plan a return trip.

Camping with my love
Amazing place with amazing kind hearted down to earth people. My son and I absolutely love it here. Nice get away and so peaceful. Heard coyotes very close by talking back and forth to eachother at night which was amazing as well. Such a treasure this place is.

Site 1 for Larger Camper
This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was wonderful! The campground was beautiful and clean and had an amazing rec room with games and tvs, and even included a bar with pub tables. Payment for food and beverages can be put in a box using the honor system. Jacklyn was very attentive to help us with any questions we had while camping. This place was far enough away from town to enjoy the beautiful and quite countryside yet close enough to call a cab (R&R taxi is THE BEST) and be in town in just minutes. The Chain of Lakes area is beautiful. Plenty of options to rent a boat. Great restaurants and bars with live music (the Wheelhouses and Chain Bar are our favorites). Cute little shops in the King area of Waupaca (get gourmet hotdogs and unique t-shirts and gifts at the Off The Chain gift shop đ). We look forward to returning next summer! Thank you Jacklyn for the perfect stay!

Group Camping Destination
Excellent excellent campground! Our site was spacious, private, and had a lots of level area to pitch tents (we were 4 adults with three tents and very comfortable at Site 5). The hosts were absolutely friendly and accomodating, and put a lot of thought and care into the grounds. The porta potties, shower, rec room, trails, and recommendations for activities and points of interest in the area make this a great spot for comfortable camping with something for everyone. The Island Walk trail on the grounds was a hidden gem! I'd be happy to come back with a bigger group next season.

Tent camping in heaven
We loved our experience at campsite 2. Clear private pond supplied by a fresh spring to swim and fish at. I had hummingbirds come up to me in my hammock and a Cooper's hawk fly over all morning watching us from above. We lit the torches for a few hours and found there were no mosquitos. There are multiple porta potties and a shower on site. The rec room is a nice touch with food and drinks available for purchase. We were offered to take our time due to no oncoming reservations which gave us the opportunity to walk the nature trail on the property and shower. Upon arrival from the nearby beach in waupaca we were warmly greeted by the landowners which brought us to our next endeavor, the Indian crossing casino about 15 minutes away. Before we left they told us all about the history of the land and even started a fire for us. I couldn't be more grateful with our experience at their site.
