Great private, quiet spot to camp! Hosts are very accommodating, they even provide a starter pack of wood with a fire starter! They have spotless ammenties and beautiful trails all around the property! Would highly recommend camping here! Rivers, lakes and waterways all around, we kayaked multiple places over our wknd stay! We will definitely be back!

4. Secluded Hilltop

Staying here was a true highlight of my trip! It’s essentially glamping here! They take great care of the place and have everything you could need for a perfect night. The bathrooms were clean which was very important to me. The indoor rec space they have is perfect for a rainy day or to hangout in the evening, we had the whole space to ourselves even with other people camping around. Campsite #4 was spacious and felt secluded, even though campsite #5 was a quick walk away. We would most definitely stay here again!

Exceptional Stay at Clearwater Camp

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Clearwater Camp in Waupaca. The entire property was exceptionally clean and well cared for, and it was clear that the owners take a lot of pride in creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for their guests. The amenities were fantastic and made the stay feel easy and relaxing. The clubhouse was especially cool—a great space to hang out, unwind, and enjoy some time together. It added something unique that you do not always find at a typical campsite. The owners were incredibly gracious, friendly, and accommodating. They made us feel genuinely welcome while still giving us plenty of space to enjoy the property. Between the cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, beautiful setting, and outstanding hospitality, Clearwater Camp exceeded our expectations. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful, and memorable camping experience in the Waupaca area!

7. Spacious Group Camp

We've stayed here 2 times already! Adam came and introduced himself to us on our first stay. He gave us a little history of clearwater camp and himself. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay a 2nd time! Site 7 is secluded and great for large or small groups. The rec building is a great addition for the stay, a little bit of something to do. You can also hike around the campground, there's a trail that takes you all around. Looking forward to staying here again!

Highly recommend

Adam and jackie have the ideal camping set up. Very thoughtfully created. Beautiful property, helpful and super clean ameneties like the toilet and shower. Game room area w ping pong, games, eletricity, snacks, drinks = huge bonus and makes it fun and easy w kids. This was our second stay and looking fwd to many more. Adam and jackie are very gracious, thoughtful, and generous hosts.

As soon as I arrived, the welcoming host Jackie greeted me and provided me with all the necessary information about my stay. The place is immaculately clean and equipped with everything I needed to escape the hustle and bustle of work. Regrettably, I had to leave early due to work commitments, but I highly recommend this campsite.

Great getaway

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite. Everything felt peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully cared for. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the facilities were spotless, and the atmosphere was exactly what we needed to unwind. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming — you can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience for their guests. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already excited to come back

The campsites are a nice size and are spaced apart a decent amount. The walking trails and sites are kept up pretty good. Adam and Jackie are nice and very welcoming. Overall experience was awesome and we plan on booking a site in the future again.

Thy have a really nice set up for hipcamp. The sites were far enough apart and most sites were pretty easy to get parked into. They have a game area, tv and den type spot that is nice to visit and great property to walk around the trails. We ended up booking an extra day. It was helpful to be able to shower after paddleboarding in the chain of lakes. I would make sure you are aware certain sites are steep to get to. Site 3 was manageable in my sprinter van.

This camping experience was truly one of the best our family has ever had! Adam and Jackie did not leave out a single detail and were some of the most accommodating and friendly hosts ever. If you are considering booking a stay here I would highly recommend it because you will not be disappointed!

Great sites, great accommodations, friendly hosts! The sites are spacious and having the clubhouse available is a fantastic addition. I have a toddler who was having a hard time sleeping the first night and we ended up walking to the clubhouse, rocked in the recliner and fell back asleep- it was truly a life saver.

Second time on property, stayed at site 5. Area was big enough for my wrangler and 6 foot trailer, plus maybe a car. Road to site is steep in parts, but I have a 4x4 so no worries. Site also has a small plateau that would fit an additional small tent. Would guess 4 could feel comfy. Another camp site (4?) sits 50 yards from this site and is very visible. Would be great for a separate tent making the two sites (4&5) together a little group thing (6). Otherwise check to see if the small site is booked and maybe grab site 2 or 7. Majestic clubhouse on site, with a stocked bar if I remember correctly. Showers, kayak, firewood, and portapotties around and accessible. Owners super cool peoples. No winter camping at this property, I believe. Will stay again and try out site 7 next time.

We love this campground! Adam and Jackie are great hosts, helpful, thoughtful, and very responsive. This ws our second time here in as many years; we stayed in the private pond site (#6) and enjoyed it. There's a little babbling brook just down the hill, and plenty of tree cover. Will be back for sure!

Outstanding first camp

The campsites were absolutely awesome and very easy to get to. The hosts were fantastic and went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. We really appreciated all the amenities provided, like garbage bags at the site, fire starters, and firewood available right there — with plenty more for sale if you want to have a big bonfire at night. One of the coolest parts was learning about all the amazing fishing opportunities nearby, and we’re already planning to come back in the future to try them out. The clubhouse was also a huge bonus and really added to the overall experience. This was actually my first time using the Hipcamp app, and this stay completely exceeded expectations. Overall, an outstanding campground and we’re definitely looking forward to coming back!

This was my first experience booking a Hipcamp site and it won't be my last. With Clearwater Camp's campsites located in varied topography, it would make it a different experience each time. Campsites were easy to find and were far enough from each other to feel like you were really out in the wild. But the rec center near the front of camp provided a nice spot to visit with other campers, create some art, and have a bite to eat. The camp hosts were extremely friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. Combined with wonderful weather, we had a wonderful camping experience at Clearwater Camp!

Amazing, private place place to camp. Adam and Jackie are super friendly and made sure to check in on us once in awhile (not too much, just enough). They are super dog friendly and my dogs loved running around off leash. The property is beautiful as well as the surrounding lakes and towns.
