We have a small herd of dairy cows, 50 dairy/meat goats, a horse named Willow and mule named Molly, a couple pigs or chickens in the summer, lots of cats. We specialize in goats for meat. Grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats. We sell eggs and meat from our farm store. There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special. "The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite. The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands. We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in! There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. This was my first time booking with hip camp and I'm so glad I did. Josh and Brenda were perfect hosts. Getting to the site was easy. Communication was clear. The sites are right on the water and the pictures don't do it justice. Such a beautiful place with so much wildlife around to see. Josh and Brenda were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They recommended kayaking adventures we wouldn't have done otherwise and picked us an and dropped us off. Truly amazing hospitality. We couldn't have asked for more from our stay. I would recommend it to anyone.

Weekend Trip to Clear Water Camp

The campsites were absolutely awesome and very easy to get to. The hosts were fantastic and went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. We really appreciated all the amenities provided, like garbage bags at the site, fire starters, and firewood available right there — with plenty more for sale if you want to have a big bonfire at night. One of the coolest parts was learning about all the amazing fishing opportunities nearby, and we’re already planning to come back in the future to try them out. The clubhouse was also a huge bonus and really added to the overall experience. This was actually my first time using the Hipcamp app, and this stay completely exceeded expectations. Overall, an outstanding campground and we’re definitely looking forward to coming back!

Weekend Trip to Captain Morgan's Pirate Ship

I had a great time at the hidden cabin site! It was nice to walk on the trails and see the other cabins. Nobody was there when I went, so I had privacy to meditate and relax without any noise. They said it was tick and mosquito treated. I saw 1 mosquito the entire weekend. I would recommend trying it out.

Weekend Trip to The G Farm

Camping with the cows was an amazing experience. Being able to stay in the cabin was a lifesaver considering it was pretty chilly outside. We got the experience of camping at a state park and more. Ember showed us around the farm and talked to us about how life on the farm is. She was very smart! We ran into Farmer Justin, who was busy with his daily chores, but nice enough to give us a quick rundown of the place. The cabin has two twin size bunk beds, electrical outlets, an electric heater, card games, and an electric portable stove. There was plenty of open space around the cabin. The pond was very calm, but we didn’t catch any fish on our trip in the canoe. Would highly recommend this place.

Weekend Trip to Old Red Mill Oasis

We absolutely LOVED this place! Michael is our people, our tribe. We knew as soon as we pulled up and the way he greated us, we were home for the next 2 nights. There is so much to do and enjoy. Michael provided us with a portapotty, camp shower, and firewood for both nights. There are swings, hammocks, chairs, and fire pits all over the property to enjoy during your stay and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves. We played lawn darts, there is volleyball, you can kayak and tube right from the hipcamp. There is even an energy bell to release energy that we loved using. If your modern day hippies like our family and want to commute with nature or just want a peaceful beautiful unique place to camp, you need to come here. You will love it. We stayed right by the river and having the sound all night was wonderful. YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! We will be back soon to enjoy the kayaking and tubing and to see all the flowers that will be in bloom. Thank you Michael!!!

What a cozy, snowy retreat at the G Farm. I was looking for picturesque solitude and I got it! The tiny house was perfect for just me and my watercolor paints. The space heater kept me plenty warm even though it seems that we are actually having a proper winter this year in Wisconsin. Comfy, cozy, and very private.

We were really happy to get to sleep test a Road Toad, and Cary’s tour of the Camp Inns and the factory was awesome. Campsite and fire rings great, even pre-raked the area for us so there weren’t leaves near fire. Loved having a hot shower available before returning to spaces full of other humans. On our walk at the Wildlife Refuge, we saw trumpeter swans and sandhill cranes 🙂 There is some highway noise and there are some lights , for those who are sensitive to either, but we still had lots of stars on our first night!

Friendly owners and great spots! Stayed at camp Twenty and it was amazing. Very private and very picturesque! The sites are a good distance away from each other and this site was a ten minute drive from the main farm. Very nice!
