The lake house is a great space for groups of 4-6, and we loved the deck overlooking the lake. Laura is very flexible and good communication.

What a hidden gem! A cozy spot in a wooded area. We relaxed more than anticipated. Rooms are very spacious and fully furnished. No WiFi noo problem! I found this to be the best part. Listening to nature and casting off the dock next to a fire a few feet away…it was a welcome blast from the past with no electronics! Woot!! We did cheat a bit and watched some classic movies on dvd. Not far into the movie we switched and played card games instead. We paddled around the lake and casted a few times. So much fun!
Thank you to property owners who were very accommodating. The entire experience is exactly what we had been looking for.

Our stay was awesome! We enjoyed the kayaks, canoes, and paddle boat. The view of the lake from the cabin was great too! We plan on staying again next year (:

Beautiful and cozy space. The hosts made our visit easy and were super accommodating. Great stay, would go again and spend more time next time. Amenities were top notch and the lakehouse kept cool enough in the heat.

Our family really enjoyed staying at this place for a week! Got to fish some bass and pike on the kayaks provided and the boat as well. Our kids loved the space as well and the dvd movies provided. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

This is a nice getaway if you are wanting to go back to a simpler way of life. The 70’s were a great time to be a teenager and so my childhood friend and I rented this place. It was more than we expected. We felt like we were kids again. Hanging out on a 70’S sofa. Watching movies and best of all we got to Kayak on a very peaceful lake. We were relaxed and that is what we wanted for a Mini vacation. Laura was a very responsive host and shared everything in her home with her guests. We have already thought about going back.

The house was pretty good but the only thing that can be improved is cleanliness. The cookware was not clean enough, there were spiders in the kitchen area.
Great Lake house for a weekend away! The house was equipped with some many essentials. The beds were all super comfy! Loved using the outdoor fire pit and looking out over the lake! The pool table was perfect when it cooled down and rained overnight. Cute little town with nice shops!
I love that that this place is pet friendly! You can you the paddle boat there, which my kids loved so much. There is a rock that you can fish off and Laura is so kind to keep everything stocked. We had such a blast, would highly recommend!

I went for a small girls weekend, just 3 of us and a small dog, and we had plenty of space and felt very safe. We used their grill and made a summer feast! They had a well stocked kitchen. Made s’mores around the fire. We even took out the small row boat. The small shared lake was gorgeous. Our own small personal pier and fire pit! Clsssic 70s cabin vibe. We drove in from Chicago and it took us a little over 3 hours. Even with all the rain, we felt so cozy and peaceful.
