Cozy Up This Winter at Our Lakefront Retreat Welcome to our happy place—a warm and inviting 3-bedroom, 2-bath lake home perfect for a peaceful winter escape. Start your mornings with a hot drink as you watch the sunrise through the picture windows overlooking the snow-covered, private lake, or step onto the new deck to enjoy the crisp winter air. Inside, you’ll stay cozy and entertained. The newly remodeled, fully stocked kitchen has everything you need for hearty winter meals, including an oven, coffee maker, electric skillet, and a Weber grill for those who enjoy winter grilling. The main floor features a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a full bath. Upstairs offers two additional bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with two full beds—plus another full bath, giving everyone space to unwind. Evenings are perfect for curling up in front of the large curved-screen TV with dozens of DVDs for movie nights. Or head to the lower level to enjoy a full-size pool table, board games, and cards—ideal for snowy nights indoors. Outside, winter brings one of the property’s favorite features: excellent ice fishing on the private, stocked lake. Whether you're a seasoned angler or trying it for the first time, the calm winter setting makes for an unforgettable experience. While the kayaks and rowboat rest for the season, there’s still plenty to explore nearby. Westfield offers a natural spring, local pubs and grills, consignment shops, and an Amish market. Beautiful and cozy space. The hosts made our visit easy and were super accommodating. Great stay, would go again and spend more time next time. Amenities were top notch and the lakehouse kept cool enough in the heat.

Our family really enjoyed staying at this place for a week! Got to fish some bass and pike on the kayaks provided and the boat as well. Our kids loved the space as well and the dvd movies provided. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

This is a nice getaway if you are wanting to go back to a simpler way of life. The 70’s were a great time to be a teenager and so my childhood friend and I rented this place. It was more than we expected. We felt like we were kids again. Hanging out on a 70’S sofa. Watching movies and best of all we got to Kayak on a very peaceful lake. We were relaxed and that is what we wanted for a Mini vacation. Laura was a very responsive host and shared everything in her home with her guests. We have already thought about going back.

The house was pretty good but the only thing that can be improved is cleanliness. The cookware was not clean enough, there were spiders in the kitchen area.

Great Lake house for a weekend away! The house was equipped with some many essentials. The beds were all super comfy! Loved using the outdoor fire pit and looking out over the lake! The pool table was perfect when it cooled down and rained overnight. Cute little town with nice shops!

I love that that this place is pet friendly! You can you the paddle boat there, which my kids loved so much. There is a rock that you can fish off and Laura is so kind to keep everything stocked. We had such a blast, would highly recommend!

I went for a small girls weekend, just 3 of us and a small dog, and we had plenty of space and felt very safe. We used their grill and made a summer feast! They had a well stocked kitchen. Made s’mores around the fire. We even took out the small row boat. The small shared lake was gorgeous. Our own small personal pier and fire pit! Clsssic 70s cabin vibe. We drove in from Chicago and it took us a little over 3 hours. Even with all the rain, we felt so cozy and peaceful.
