Fantastic Campsite! Great weekend!
The site was AMAZING!! Right on a pond and the Ice Age Trail/Kettle Moraine just steps away! Very peaceful!! Site was clean and all ready for us! It was everything we wanted and MORE!! Great people + Great Location! He had a paddle boat or kayak ready for us to use. He even had sticks and firewood in the fire pit, just ready for us to light and enjoy. And, we did. I HIGHLY recommend booking with Rick!! We will be back.

Perfect spot!
What a beautiful spot! Host was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He was available as needed, but not intrusive. Water and electric provided. Site was even better than the photos.

Right on a millpond, beautiful view and Rick is extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Not secluded during the day but peaceful after sundown - there is a damn close by and a few people fish there. We had a wonderful time very relaxing. Lots of stuff to do nearby Road America is just a couple of miles away.

Rick's home is a beautiful waterside respite from crowded campsites. The views from our site were surprising; a peaceful algae free pond, long wooded walks, and a small mowed park to fish from. Weather and too short a visit kept us from trying the kayak or paddleboat. Lots of firewood was available. Rick told us about the available hiking in the area. Adjacent to Kettle Moraine forest, close to Elkhart Lake amenities, and an hour from Point Beach and the sites along Lake Michigan. Lovely just to stay put, or as a base to others places to visit. We're planning on returning next year!

My wife and I camped for 4 nights in our 28-foot travel trailer on Rick’s property. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property.
Rick provides both 30-amp electrical and water hook-ups, complete with cords and hoses to connect directly to your trailer. The campsite is on a lovely millpond and is very peaceful. The site itself is well cared for and neat with great shade.
Rick has a small kayak and paddle boat available for use. There is a fire ring and firewood available. He also has a small table with 2 chairs on the site.
Rick’s home is behind the campsite. He is a friendly but unobtrusive host. He communicated well via the HipCamp app and in-person, checking in to make sure we were satisfied with everything.
What we really appreciated is that this property is a private, shaded waterfront campsite with good proximity to multiple state and county parks. Conveniently, there is dump station at a county park about 5 minutes away.
