Walk out of this cozy and clean little vintage camper onto the outdoor kitchen/bathroom that faces the Northern Sky. This is a great spot for star gazing and if your lucky the Northern Lights might give you a dance! The camper is setup for a single person to sleep (twin bed). If your doing Vanlife or camping and want to sleep in your van or tent on the property while using the facilities - we'll refund you $10! ACCOMODATION The camper has electricity with lights/outlets/ a fan and a small heater. The windows open with screens for nice ventilation. The comfortable twin mattress is complete with a clean mattress cover. Please bring your own sleeping bag / bedding / pillow case / towel. The kitchen has a mini-fridge and a gas camping stove and is furnished with all you need for cooking and eating. If you prefer cooking on an open fire there is a campfire pit that's a great spot to hang out on cool evenings. You can enjoy your meals on the little retro table in the kitchen or on the big picnic table in the yard. Internet is also available. Your large private outdoor bathroom has a hot-water shower and a camper style toilet. (see photo). The camper is right next to the outdoor kitchen/bathroom which is connected to the back of the main house. It was all built with maximum privacy in mind for both the Hip-camper and the House-guest. THE AREA You are on the edge of the village of Larium in Calumet township. It's a very safe and quiet area. You can see some neighbor's houses from the yard - all nice good people :) It's only a few minutes walk or bike ride to downtown Calumet where you can find a grocery store, coffee shops, a great bakery, restaurants ... Calumet also has a big farmer's market every Saturday during the warmer months and free music performances every Wednesday night at the Calumet Theater! For nature lovers - your right in it! You can start hiking or biking right out of the camper. Your connected to miles of trails that cover the Keweenaw Peninsula. For swimming it's only a short drive to Calumet Water Works Park for an excellent Lake Superior Sunset Beach. The Yooperlite House is tucked into the forest, just off a private driveway. With plenty of parking, ample outdoor space, and a cozy atmosphere, you'll enjoy all the amenities of home while having the full privacy of the woods. The house is just a few minutes from Lake Superior and downtown L'Anse, and it’s centrally located between the Keweenaw Peninsula, Marquette, and the Porcupine Mountains. UP Snowmobile Trail #14 runs just feet from the end of the driveway, combining easy trail access with a secluded tiny home experience. The Yooperlite House sits on a 10-acre parcel alongside our primary residence and homestead, the Party Fowl Homestead. There is a sign for the homestead at the end of our driveway. The tiny home is a few hundred feet up the private driveway on the right-hand side—you can’t miss it. Our main house is further up the driveway past the tiny home, and we ask that guests remain in the general vicinity of the Yooperlite House and avoid venturing up to our home. There is plenty of outdoor space on the property for guests to enjoy, including fire pits and picnic tables adjacent to the tiny home. The two homes occupy separate areas to ensure privacy during your stay.

This is a super cozy spot! Easy to find. Tucked off in the woods but also close to activities/trails. I’m a Solo Traveler and there was more than enough room. Definitely room for 2, or 3 if it’s a child or dog. Owners were very detailed and gave plenty of easy to follow instructions for everything. Plenty of amenities. Shower was great! I just loved it. I wish I would’ve stayed more than one night!

I had a wonderful time at Linda and Darryl’s cabin. The trek to the cabin was a lovely snowshoe through the woods, and the cabin itself is gorgeous and so thoughtfully equipped. Directions are clear for both navigating and operating equipment inside the cabin, and the hosts were responsive and helped with a smooth check in. A perfect balance of adventure and creature comforts.

Quiet, great location. Ryan was was friendly and kept up on anything that I needed for camp. Spacious camp, nice bed, power was provided no problems, plenty of firewood, water, ECT. We loved staying at the GeoDome! It was such a peaceful getaway. It was a good location to stay while exploring Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We didn't see anyone the whole time, just heard a couple of cars on road below the mountain (meaning it's very secluded!) The bed was sooo comfy and there was a ton of fire wood! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Ryan’s glamping site! The tent was spacious and felt cozy, with the lighting providing ambiance and even throw pillows and blankets for an extra touch of warmth. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of rain falling on the tent, while remaining dry inside. The site was easy to find and we were greeted upon arrival. It was the perfect place to stay while we spent the weekend immersed in nature, exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula. We are already planning to go back next year!

My husband and I are expecting our first baby in December and this was the perfect spot to get away and find stillness within all the excitement 🥲 we love to camp and backpack but being pregnant this was the perfect in between of comfort and rustic backcountry vibes! We loved the sense of adventure and truly felt at home in this space. It was really fun to learn about the off grid / sustainable practices that make this place unique and fun to explore. This off grid cabin/land had such nourishing ambiance and character there was always something unique to notice within all the tiny details Linda and Darryl put into it or from others that were left behind. We enjoying slow mornings reading journal entries from past visits over slow brewed coffee, walking the land, fishing in the river and playing games over a home cooked meal! The cabin was located perfectly on the peninsula we were able to explore copper harbor and close enough to houghton hancock if we needed anything. This is definitely a trip we will always remember and can’t wait to make it back with our little guy sooner than later! Many continued blessings to everyone who gets to experience this GEM in Gods Land 🌲
