Hills and gulleys covered in trees , and trails that vary in difficulty and length. Benches to rest and Tent camping sites dot the ridge-top, surrounded by black raspberry bushes and young forest. Grilling, campfires, and yard games can be enjoyed in the central yard. The rustic bar and outdoor entertainment area may be used on request, though parties of any sort have a fee separate from the standard camping fee. Lots of wildlife to see, as well as the resident chickens, goats, and dogs. Responsible foraging and exploring off-trail is also allowed, have fun and find some cool mushrooms if that’s what you’re into! Bring a friend or dog, enjoy the secluded feel and the kind of quiet that is only found in the forest. The property is a work in progress, therefore some amenities may not be available, e.g. porta potty, water, device charging station. Campsite, trail, or general property projects may be ongoing, some noise maybe be associated with that, as well as temporarily unattended tools. Natural terrain and the usual things found outdoors can be hazardous, e.g. stinging nettles, bugs, uneven ground, etc. Adult supervision is required for children. Non-recyclable trash must be pack-in, pack-out. Bins will be provided for recycling.

Sand point is the narrow end of a ridge, accessible by foot or atv on the main trail. The area is approximately 10 feet and meanders for 50 feet, with a quickly descending hill on both sides.

Cardiac Point

Cardiac hill site is located on the ridge point on the northern part of the property and has a view of the neighboring ridge and the coulee below, north, east, and south. The space is roughly triangular, about 40 feet to a side and has a fire ring and bench. The main yard area can be accessed by the short and steep trail, or the easy but longer route that is usually taken. Either a five minute hike or a 15 minute walk. In the main yard there are various games almost always available, the bar and communal areas, as well as the hot tub and shower, and access to a potable garden hose. The water based facilities will only be available during non-freezing seasons.

Dominic’s Point

Dominic’s site is a four minute walk up the main trail, on the right, located on a small point overlooking the yard below. With summer foliage it feels totally secluded, while in the fall the entire coulee can be viewed. Several trees are inside the site that could be used for a hammock or rain-fly, as well as space for several tents. There is a fire ring and plenty of free range firewood. All sites are carry in- carry out. Bins for recycling and burnable will be available in the main yard.

Sand Point Tent Site

Nicholas & co were so sweet to us. We were just there to sleep for the night & he let us pick any spot since no one else had booked. Loved listening to the aspens do their thing in the wind all night. Upon leaving bright n early, there was coffee for us :) Would love to stay here again & explore more & use the hot tub & throw some axes

Sand Point Tent Site

We had such a great time tent camping at Lost and Found Private Retreat! The property is beautiful with plenty of peaceful hiking trails that our dog absolutely loved exploring. The newly installed hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day outdoors. There were lots of fun yard games available, which made our downtime even better. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which really added to the experience. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a mix of nature and comfort.
