Van Camp Glamping near Occidental
This place is exceptionally great for us. We travel in a truck and camper with our three King Charles Cavaliers. You will appreciate letting 3 dogs out of the camper in the wee hours of the morning with no leashes to tangle. The spa worked flawlessly. Other than some tree cutting by PGE on the road, the place is exceptionally quiet. Hot showers in one outbuilding coupled with the Tiki bldg. makes this place a 10 out of 10.

TREEHOUSE POOL HOTTUB SAUNA SHOWERđ¶
Relaxing adventure with our dogs!!
Staying at the treehouse with sauna, pool and hot tub was ultra relaxing. It took us an afternoon to adjust, as our dogs are smaller and the fence that protects them from falling off deck down a long hill was really just a few horizontal wires that our dogs could easily have gotten through. Fortunately, they didnât and didnât seem interested in exploring the hill. The only other con was that the beds in the treehouse are 2 twins that canât be made into a full size (but they were very comfortable). Also, the futon in the cantina couldnât be folded out, so no way to sleep with your significant other without bringing an air mattress ( which we didnât, since we didnât know). But THE VIEW, THE CALM, THE RELAXATION, made it all worth the while. It was truly a wonderful way to check out. Our dogs enjoyed their adventure. I look forward to another visit ( maybe with a queen air mattress) . Thank you Jeanne and Robert- we really enjoyed our stay!

Great for solo camping with dogs.
This place is so great. I took my two dogs and my rooftop tent here alone and it was sublime. The dogs were much happier than they are in the city and the vibe is so peaceful and safe.

This stop was exactly what I was looking for!! Fenced in privacy with a hot tub, toilet and shower, glamping at it's finest. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven!

Not what I thought it was.
We left as soon as we arrived because the RV spot that we rented does not include access to the pool. It was not at all clear to me from the listings that that was the case. So just be aware that if you rent the RV spot, that enclosure is all you get. It felt claustrophobic in there to me and the whole reason we rented the spot was because of the pool. The hosts didn't offer any kind of a refund even though we left immediately, so we paid for a 3 day stay that we didn't use. I'm also not sure how it's worth $200/night to have a place to park your RV and a hot tub.
