Welcome to Nopalito Farm! We’re so happy you’ve decided to spend some time on this beautiful property! In case you’re interested, here are a few interesting things about our farm. Nopalito Farm has been in operation since late 2014, but the property itself has been a working farm for over 50 years. Lemons and avocados were the primary crops from the 70’s through the 00’s, and are still prominent throughout our 15 acres. Our predecessors then diversified the growing operation by planting a wide range of fruit trees ranging from guavas and passion fruit to peaches and figs. For a decade, hops were grown on 2 acres and were sold to breweries throughout southern California. We’ve since replaced the hop yard with perennial flowers, but continue to cultivate a wide variety of delicious fruits.

Roadrunner Cabana
Very cool and convenient
Very cool property! Perfect easy one night getaway from San Diego. The fire pit right outside our A-frame was great and the communal areas with the outdoor kitchen was very useful. This is definitely on our list to revisit with friends.

You should book this place! It is so well-appointed and utterly adorable. As charming as the little cabins are, the kitchen/dining area and outdoor living area with the disco ball are even more gorgeous. I spent my days rotating between the many hammocks, enjoying the sunlight filtering through fruit trees. I came solo, but Nopalito Farm would be perfect with a group of friends. Roadrunner cabin was great. Private and with a lovely view. The bathrooms were a quick walk away. There’s no microwave, but the kitchen is equipped with everything else you could possibly need. I’ve stayed at a ton of Airbnbs, and Nopalito was as well-equipped as any of them. Gertie (the dog) is a genial host and happy to share a hammock.

Just as beautiful and well appointed as pictured — the bedding was cozy, the space was relaxing and the kitchen was amazingly well equipped and stocked. Looking forward to returning.

Roadrunner Cabana was just a dream! It was a short walk away from the communal kitchen and bathroom but nice and secluded away from the other cabanas. The kitchen was AMAZING. It was so well stocked we barely used our kitchenware. Someone must care for those cast iron skillets :) This is perfect for people that love dogs or want to take their dog somewhere that it can safely be off leash (no roads nearby). We definitely want to come back when a campfire is allowed. One small note: keep dog food or other food safely secured - otherwise the property dog Gertie will help herself. We really appreciated how warm the comforter is - felt so cozy on a pretty cold night. This place was a dream! Great energy.

Coyote Cabana
I had a great stay. I slept in one of the A frames. The bed was super comfy. The platforms are in the groves of an avocado farm. Gertie the dog greeted me when I arrived. I had a nice hot shower under the moonlight and then chilled in a hammock. In the morning I made a French press and walked the land, going by the solar array and the citrus trees. Great spot.

Coyote Cabana
We had a great experience during our one-night stay. Yes, the cabins were closer than expected so it is more of a communal vibe even though each cabins has a personal path to the kitchen and bathroom area. When we stayed, almost everyone else had a dog and heavily utilized the kitchen to cook so we all saw each other a lot. The pizza oven was a great addition. It seemed like the main host who we were texting was out of town and needed to relay communications to the person on-site, so there was a little bit of delay when we were inquiring about our add-on firewood, and issues with the propane stove. But they were friendly and tried to help once aware. Our dog was anxious at first but once he settled in, he had a blast. Only recommendation is to add a blind to the cabin door window because we were woken up by Gertie the friendly farm dog right outside our door wanting to play with our dog.
