Extras are the native plants and flowers, and keep an eye out for the desert tortoises, rabbits, chuckwallas, kangaroo mice, and the coyotes. So far I haven't seen any snakes, but be aware. No mosquitos - yay!
I send detailed directions, check in details, and the gate code the morning of your arrival - read them as Maps often sends you to the other side of the mountain and you'll get stuck in a sand trap. My land has solar lights and reflectors to guide your way to Desert Daisy and your site.
Cell signal is good; NO wi-fi - use cellular data. Bring lights and water.
The tent platforms are: Platform 1 (10ftx10ft), D2 (12x12), Big 6 (20tx20ft). All the tent platforms are inside the fenced area and have parking.
The groundcamps are: Flower Power (up to 4 campers, Fencer (3 campers), Mountain Majesty 7 groupcamp (8 campers), and Lazy 8 groupcamp. Camps 7 and 8 are outside the fenced area and are best for groups, van, RV camping.
The glamping cabin - Snowkiss Chalet is an adorable 8x10x11.5 tiny kiosk with a roll-up window offering an incredible view - retired from Disneyland and moved to Desert Daisy. AND, BIG 6 becomes a glamp-site in the summer from April to September - a big Bell tent, furnished and ready for 4-6 campers max.
All sites are well-maintained, wonderful and have incredible views, amazing star gazing and a feeling of serenity as you enjoy the beauty of nature.
