The road department put a sign up that makes our neighbors road look like it should be Crawfordsville Dr. NO GATE If you see a gate you are at the wrong driveway. Again NO GATE 5 Acers of woods, 1 Acer of field/grassland, and one are on the hill with gravel for up RV's. Property is only 0.35 miles from Calapooia river access (local secret spot). 1 mile to McKercher Park and additional river access. General store 0.75 miles away. Next to the historic Crawfordsville Covered Bridge. 8 miles from Brownsville, this town has been featured in multiple movies. 13.8 miles from Foster lake. At the bottom of the property there is a tree house, fire pit, and large grass field that could accommodate 20+ tents. Upper area is a rock parking area with RV hook ups. gas firepit, gas BBQ, and picknic table. I only rent to one group at a time. Rarely camping there when campers are there but father is on site (the grey house) to assist if needed.

We have a private, single site located on the banks of the McKenzie River in Rainbow, Oregon. The campsite is near our home, but feels private. The access driveway and site size make it best for camper vans and smaller RV’s. Long trailers, large RV’s and tent camping are not permitted at this time. The site has 50/30 amp and 120 volt outlets, as well as water and Wi-Fi. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day. The property has many areas to set your camp chair or hang your hammock, and lots of short paths to explore. Recreation opportunities abound around here: hiking, biking, fishing, hot springs, cold springs, waterfalls, lava beds, whitewater boating on the river, and flat water paddling on the reservoirs. There are also four restaurants, a food cart, golf course and a general store nearby.

GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. No matter which camping site you choose, the sounds of the creek, pond frogs, or conversing owls are sure to lull you to sleep. Feel free to roam the farm, but always leave gates as you find them, open or closed. Please say hello to our sheep and barn cats (they may say hello first). We are currently working on a big outdoor kitchen, where we will have pizza ovens, canning facilities and a beautiful place to gather in the woods. Again still a work in progress. Some spots have fire pits. Again depending on time of year and heat conditions. Because we have so many trees, we have to make sure no fires are to close to any tree's. Again, please Ask before burning. No random burning unless oked by land owners. Thank you for for helping to keep everyone safe.   We have numerous ponds throughout the property and swimming holes. We turned the 4 stall barn into a music room where we gather and host events. Soon we will have designated Spots, equipped with fire rings. We will have teepees, tree houses, glamping tents. As of now we have room for numerous big groups spots for tent camping. Soon we’ll have plug-ins for RV and fifth wheel travelers.  We have alot of space to camp and still have your privacy. Currently we have an out house and hose shower and you can also use the potty Under the Star's. We provide Toilet paper and try to keep stocked but, just ask if outhouses are out of paper. There are lovely walking trails throughout the property and tranquil sitting areas. We will update our progress as it happens. Hope to see you soon.. Remember to bring your own cooking equipment like grills. There's a cleaning station near shower. Water is straight from the well and beautiful drinking water. Aloha Remember, Pack in Pack out any and all trash. Also please Use designated compost areas of only compostable foods. No Meats or meat grease. Weekend Trip to Upriver Paradise "Private Retreat"

What an unforgettable weekend @upriverparadise. Steve is the kindest host, has some mad skills with all the amenities. From the tables to place our Blackstone, to washing camp dishes, he has dialed in this perfect slice of paradise. The Johnny was spotless, easy to get to and even had privacy. Little fairy lights sparkled in the evening and cozy sitting areas down on the riverbank made out stay magical. The beautiful rushing river drowned out any “traffic” noise and lulled us to sleep comfortably. Water, power easily accessible. Just a hours drive to Bend/Sisters with majestic views. Steve has thought of everything! Number 1 on our list of places we will return to.

Great camping experience. James' trailer pad and hookups were perfect. The campground felt amazingly private and quiet. James was welcoming and helpful. The property had a beautiful hiking trail. We used this to stay close to the Covered Bridge Regatta, and it worked great, being just 15 minutes from the lake.

We absolutely loved our experience at Ruah Ranch! The owners as well as theranch hand are very welcoming and sincerely hospitable. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking! The entire stay was much like a sublime dream. Quiet and peaceful with plenty to do and explore. Highly recommended to those who appreciate rural farm life with no disruptions and legendary race horse, “Rise up” among the herd. A magnificent wholesome place to feel part of something bigger.

Weekend Trip to GeerCrest Farm

Beautiful place to spend a night or two, or more! There’s a little traffic on Sunnyview Rd but it’s really not a distraction from the calm and delight of the views and bubbling creek that runs through the farm. The sites are spacious and well-situated. Sunsets, birds, grazing sheep and foraging ducks. Quite idyllic. My favorite aspect of this farm was exploring the numerous native plantings that are prominent features of the Pacific Northwest. While the orchards had their heyday, the native plants continue to feed the critters and it’s a great feeling to be in their midst.

We had a great 4 night stay. Jered and Stefane were very welcoming and had thought of everything. We loved the acreage being on top of a hill and looking down, seeing the wild turkeys in town and deer in the cemetery. The property is immaculately kept, I don’t know how they do it! The fire pit was so nice in the evening and is a must when camping. We had lots to do with going into Eugene, visiting McDowell Creek Falls and just exploring the area. Our one year old German Shepherd loved it too. Our only problem now is getting the time to come back! Thanks for sharing and doing it so well. 10/10 We will check our calendars. Wish you had Labor Day open! Aileen and Ammon.

We took our airstream out for the first time to test it all out with our dogs. The property was peaceful and private and the trails off the property were great to explore. James also had a fire all ready to be lit, firewood and a lighter on site for us. Excited to see what they do with the property in the years to come.

We had a relaxing one night stay at one of the RV/Tent spots at Carsners Tree Farm. Mike was very helpful getting us to our site. The barn has lots of amenities for those in need. I would recommend this Hipcamp.

What a nice camping spot in the beautiful Silverton hills. Connie was so nice to take the time to show us all her farm animals. My granddaughter loved it! Really enjoyed it!

It’s a great central location with access to a restroom. Host was very nice and has an adorable dog. We have our own little camper and were there for a concert at the Belfry, a nearby venue, so it was perfect.

Majestic views. Perfect for wildlife viewing. A distant field of cows and lambs brush the landscape. Occasionally they give a gentle call, letting you know all is well. Huge fire-pit for small or large gatherings. Frogs hum as evening approaches. Would definitely recommend and a place I would look forward to visiting again. Host was super kind and communicative. Good Vibes.
